So it would seem that Ashrah, our Demon Huntress is EVIL.....

So our Demon huntress is evil! I find this to be shocking as I like many I believe, assumed she was neutral or good. However, we may still be right as Ashrah is ‘trying to purify herself from evil’, so I think she is good, but was somehow corrupted by evil, but still has a connection to her past. Or maybe, she has another reason for doing this. She could be one of the Dragon Kings newly recruited minions that is trying to save themself or maybe an evil entity that has turned to good. Maybe she was a god and was turned to evil. Although I doubt her story will be anything like those. Whatever it is, Ashrah has become a lot more intriguing and I look forward to hearing more about her. The mystery surrounding her is awesome!

Where the fuck do you get off thinking she's evil? She's trying to purify evil in her, not she IS evil. Its a similar plot to Taki in Soul Calibur.

She's starting to sound more like a female Scorpion than a Raiden rip-off.

Well, if she IS evil....IM HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!! grin

Ashrah has this perfect evil feeling I think she really needs.

Being evil is the best thing that could happen to her, ESPECIALLY if she is related to Rayden.

But I think she is not oly trying to safe herself, but also some new demon character we will see in the game.

Evil past, hasn't been able to fully keep it in. Has outbursts of killing innocent people now and again grin

Wouldn't it be funny if we all misunderstood her title of 'Demon Huntress.' We all assumed she was hunting demons, but what if she was a demon who hunts.

I like the idea of her being evil too. It makes it clear that characters aren't always what they appear to be.

If she is related to Raiden, that will add to the fun. He'll be on his guard and maybe trying to defeat her.

She sounds cool. As well as sounding like Taki, it is also a bit like my Ivy, isn't it?! Ridding the world of evil and trying to purify the evil within? Thats such a cool idea for a plot.

LMAO! Dont mess with tgrant MKF, he knows what hes talking about. Ne who, I really have no idea what Ashrahs story is. She looks like a good girl, but looks are always deceiving in MK. I bet her story is along the lines of Taki and Ivy, but I wont take a definite stance on that.

tryna purify herself of evil?
Seems obvious from the wordin, she is evil but tryna break away from it.......now there are so many theories here, maybe she IS some demon, huntin others, but who?
Maybe shes wot we thought she was all along....a demon HUNTER?
Who knows, right? We can only speculate
Im goin for the story that shes a demon HUNTER, has bein tainted with evil and is trying to fight it, and revert to her "normal" good ways? Or along them lines.
The line "purify herself of evil" gives alot away but this is MK, go figure?
I love MK about this time, always promptin theories, its good, keeps us on our toes. On a sidenote, I look 4ward to the 1st official bio. But I'll save that for another thread maybe.
So yeah, Ashrah the Demon HUNTER, nice and evil, trying to revert back to her original good ways...Heres to hopin!
Either way, her look is awesome and I look 4ward to playin with her...I mean, playin AS her...then again!

She is evil, but either not intentionally, meaning she was once good, or she is evil and is turning good.

If Ashrah herself is a demon, I'd like to know how she got her human form or if she was born human. Of all the new characters, she is the most interesting.

Isn't there a number of demons in myth that can take on a human form? Perhaps she got her human form the same way a certain Demon Sorcerer got his original human form. Then there is also the possiblity of possession. Perhaps the form we see is that of a human/edenian woman that is being possessed and controlled by a demon. Damn, can't wait to read her bio and see her ending.

I guess you could be right. I hope she isn't a sopul stealer of any sort like Shang. If she is a demon, I hope we get to see her true fom.

You don't have to be evil to try and cleanse yourself of evil.

What I mean by that is like say she considers her soul and body pure and good and she attempts to stop or repent for deeds or thoughts she thinks to be evil or sinful. In order to cleanse herself of her sins and evil she does good deeds to make herself pure once more.

Puritains during Colonial times in America were like that.

Well, I don't know if I'm right but I'm pretty sure that's what that quote means.

Maybe she is kinda evil like how in the movie Blade, he was half vampire but was still good by giving himself garlic and stuff. Maybe she was corrupted by evil but is trying to keep herself good. Thats what i think
