I think it's getting to the point where it's almost guaranteed that Liu Kang would make an excellent Sub-Boss, but if they want to keep with their record for having big monster type characters than a new monster type creature would definately be good.

Well on the new mko videos on the new sort of tower thing in the arcade i was pausing it after every stage and it goes from the dragon kings lair straight to the sky temple so i dunno if there is gonna be one

The sub-bosses are Noob Smoke.
Edit: In an early interveiw Boon said we will have more than one sub-boss: All signs point to Noob Smoke, and cause someone played the game and said they were.

Dunno if this has been metioned but i think the dragon king we saw is the sub boss and when u beat him he transforms into something bigger cause right now he is using reptiles body. Thats what i think. How bout U ??

What the heck, is the Chimaira idea out the window? I thought Boon confirmed it as the sub-boss.

It wouldn't matter every everyone here voted for the Dragon King being the sub-boss. He's not. That won't change.

I think that the sub-boss should be ether a giant creature like chimerea or a super powerful version of rayden of fujin. i think rayden should have been a boss all along since he is a god. the new raiden would be as strong as shao khan only with teleports, force fields, and a more powerful knock off of rain's sky thunder bolt
