Goro....you should play MKDA, they say he is dead. Noob killed his. Noob Smoke...WHY is everyone saying they will be sub-boss. No reason why they are. Sub-boss is always someone were have never seen before (exclude MKDA and MK4).

maybe shujinko could be the sub-boss.. he might think he's the only one that can defeat the dragon king and stops you from advaning further into the tournament

To me there are many options.

1. Noob Smoke (it would finally give a reason as to why they made them tag partners and also give me hope as having an option to fight solo with them or as a team)

2. Reptile (probably pumped up)

3. Liu Kang

4. Raiden (maybe he is evil or just has his own reason)

5. Totally new and unseen character

I hope for Reptile or Noob Smoke personally.

I think the sub boss will be a twisted version of Reptile, due to the fact that his MKDA ending seems 2 have happened, and we havent had ANY mention of him yet...

Im hopin the lack of talk about Reptile is because we're in for a surprise when we get to the top of the ladder...we get a question mark, a short video and an introduction to the new and improved Reptile, deformed and twisted and under Onaga's control...

I think the sub-boss will be diffrent for all.

Everyone will fight with his rival from prison stage
(Scorp vs Drahmin, Rayden vs fujin, Noob vs Goro etc.)

I'm going with MY theory that the Dragon King is the Sub-boss, I've got my own reasons. In ALL of the Mortal Kombat games the sub-boss is ALWAYS some BIG BAD ASS MOTHERFUCKER.

1. Mortal Kombat 1-Goro
2. Mortal Kombat 2-Kintaro
3. Mortal Kombat 3-Motaro
4. Mortal Kombat 4-Goro
5. Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance-Moloch

Do I make sense now?!?!? Now hear me out, maybe someone else manipulated the Dragon King and now has total control over him. Remember in MK:DA when Shao Kahn was attacked by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, Reptile wandered around till he found a new master (Nitara). Well maybe now he found a new master to take orders from, maybe someone we've only heard of and haven't yet seen. (ex. Jerrod) or it may be (Shao Kahn). Anyone could be pulling the strings. After all, the game is called Deception. And also remember in that interview, What Boon said about the Dragon King, "he's our Goro, he's our Motaro". But then again my theory could only be true if Reptile is the Dragon King. What do you guys think?

I have no idea, but maybe Noob Smoke... After all, in MKDA, the last boss was Quan Chi or Shang Tsung, so what sub-boss couldn't be a playable character, this time? :/

if reptile is not the dragonking i hope its a beefed up version of reptile like ReptilianHelms said he may have gotten mutatated

I think it might be one of these following charachters:

1.Reptile new form
2.Rayden since he looks evil
3.Goron or Kintaro or somthing
4.A new charachter.
5.Noob Smoke

Anyways, my ideas lean towards the DK, Reptile, a new character or Blaze.

Blaze cus he was the guardian of the egg, if his ending didn't happen quite that way, he may still have to protect the DK, in his living form. Plus if they revamped his look and move set he would be one hell of a kick-ass sub boss!

Even though I'd like to say someone else, someone already said that NoobSmoke is in fact the sub-boss, they also said something that shocked me "Kitana is in fact dead" yet she has been resurrected like Johnny Cage in the past. Whether or not this is true I don't know but as long as she's been resurrected I'm fine with that!

I'm going with Noob-Smoke as the sub-boss. Boon said the sub-boss would be playable and Noob-Smoke seems like a logical character to be the sub-boss. Also the Dragon King (Onaga) is the main badass boss.
