Devil Jin? lol........., MK and SF have how many? lol
Besides, this is my personal view anyway but I really think Spawn would kill most Tekken characters with ease as oppose to MK/SF honestly.

... You couldn't be missing the point more if you tried...
As a side note, I don't think saturation should make for the only argument for two series to overlap. It seems like that's be one of the worst points made between the MK/DC meeting. If anything, there's a lot more potential in having differing brands meet.
Tekken might not be all about demons and murderers, but there's precedent for a Spawn or whatever... Even though it would be a total waste of time. Spawn's more stupid nineties style, if you can call it that, over substance!

Not really lol but it's obvious you misunderstood anything I've said. I've listed not only better competition for Spawn in the other fighters but MORE villians, you keep listing one....and Devil Jin of all people.
It's probably safe to agree to disagree, I feel Spawn would fit well in MK or SF honestly.

Villains are what makes Spawn a viable crossover?
*groan* You have misunderstood almost everything in this thread. The last part of the previous comment was a tangent... Although, it does make the now related point that saturation is not an argument for viability of properties...
Just to go back to a painfully obvious, throwaway remark...

You know, if the story of special forces didn't center around two of the most boring MK characters, another Special Forces installment need not suck. If Cyrax is still a relevant part of MK Special Forces (and they get Kenshi back in there), there's room for quality. The story could even revolve around the battle against the Tekunin. Fuck, throw Subzero in there for good measure. Get the Red Dragon and the Reformed Lin Kuei fired up, and there's potential for a possibly-good-if-mixed-with-good-gameplay storyline.

Technically he's owned by Todd McFarlane Productions...
Image don't actually own anything they publish.

I understand perfectly fine...
If anything I'd say you haven't been paying attention...you see I wasn't the one who brought up the whole "villians being the reason" you were...originally I just said I think Spawn would fit in nicely within the MK and SF universe, you just laughed and had nothing good to say...then I asked why, you said because to you it was silly....
I asked, ok what would you prefer. You said Tekken.
I asked, why? You said Devil Jin.
I explained and said why MK and SF's choices would be better or cooler you just said the same thing. Tekken would be a good choice because Devil Jin...
So, you see not only are you wrong but you're being a hypocrite. You're telling me Spawn doesn't revolve around "Villians" yet you're the obsessed with Devil Jin for whatever reason and I'm pretty certain he's a villian...is he not?
You seriously have an issue with people's views different then your own I noticed but arrogance usually does blind the eye so why am I astonished again? lol

... Laughed at you saying Spawn would fit great in 'all beat 'em ups'... except a handful of iconic mainstream series... That's funny, if you speak English.

No I didn't. I just threw out the flippant point that Spawn obviously makes sense in Tekken... and used Devil Jin as a very obvious comparison of baseline concepts, if not flat-out imitation.
I didn't elaborate on that at all, but I did go onto an unrelated tangent about saturation of concept... Which may have caused some confusion...

I don't think I've mentioned "villains" once, and don't know why you are, repeatedly...
... You've been having a very confused discussion on your own.
Which is surprising, because I always think of you as a master of perception...

Yes you did lol, I know I didn't. I just initially he'd be good in MK and SF because of the powers within those games.
Funny if you speak english...okey dokey, it's also a good idea or at least in certain games. I never said "all" btw, only the ones I listed.
Exactly like I said, I asked and you said "Tekken" why? Because of Devil Jin...
No confusion a all, you've made it pretty clear you meant "Tekken" and nothing else apparently.
lol...you clearly said "Devil Jin" and he is a villian. Neither of us til now mentioned the word "villian" point is DJ is a bad guy, thus he's a villian...
I find your acceptance of other peoples posts rather intriguing and amusing since you seem to reply as if they're speaking another language all together.

I'm no more special then you are

Mick, why can't you just accept other people's opinions? Spawn would be perfect, hell throw in other Image franchises like The Darkness and Witchblade and we're havin' a good time.
The thing I noticed about you is your arguements are usually based on ignoring what people post or just going "living in the 90's, you don't know what you're talking about" etc.
Trying to debate with you is like trying to debate with a religious fanatic: it's not worth it nor will it get you anything but a headache.

and spawn would be a joke if it met with tekken. Much like MK and DC

Nahh, MK vs. DC is way better...then Spawn in Tekken? lol

I'm saying MK vs DC makes as much sense as Spawn vs Tekken.

... I don't think I had any real qualms on the issue...
Presumably you're also confused by the tangentially related note regarding conceptual saturation and whether or not there's more merit to contrasting licenses.
That's not a slight on Captain Flames, Chains and Hellmobiles and his viability for a crossover...

I sometimes forget I have to over explain every little sentence... I keep thinking I'm at the big people table. Although, given your apparent obliviousness to detail (and context), I'm not sure you should be the platinum standard, either...
Although, the irony of objecting to the dismissal of nineties hallmarks whilst talking about Spawn is delicious, if painful... I might have to go drown my sorrows in the shadows of an alley for six days, before busting out a bitchin guitar solo made of chains, capes, high heels and rib cages. That would be XTREEEEME!

You assume that I'm only talking about this thread, right?
First off, I wasn't talking about just Spawn you even mentioned "living in the 90s" for Black/Death metal as well {which came out in the 80s, mind you}. It seems to me that once again, you don't do anything to explain your point except trying to make yourself sound high and mighty, as shown with your "I thought I was sitting at the big people table" comment. You didn't address anything I actually said except, yet again, calling me oblivious and trying to warp my words to make it sound like I'm saying Spawn had nothing to do with the 90s.
