(*spoiler*) the situation with noob-smoke is really a problem!

i think the mk team needs to unfuse these two characters or make an option so you could unfuse them. to me the whole thing is just stupid, there was no point in fusing these two characters together and quiet honestly the whole things makes me angry. i was real intrested in these characters when they were apart now that they are together everytime i would play with them it i would feel like am playing with a cheep character.i would really just like to play as noob saibot or smoke with ou the other being on the screen at the same time.its just this thing that i have and am sure other people are like that when i want to play as noob i want to play as noob when i play as smoke i want to play as smoke.when you play as scorpion you dont want to play as sub-zeo or when you play as maleena you dont want to play as kitana do you get what am saying. This is smokes come back in the mk and he has to be tied down with someone else it really sucks. they need to unfuse these two characters am i the only one who feels this way becuase i know smoke fans and noob fans cant possibly like this. anyways tell me what you think about the situation and how you feel.

i happen to love it! i mean everyone has their own opinions but i think that Ed Boon and the rest would make them like that unless they had some purpose or great idea to back it up. Plus both Smoke and Noob Saibot were always 2 of my favorite charaters so i think it'll be interesting to see how they play and interact with one another both being on the screen at the same time.

Both were 2 of my fav characters before and now they've become something special being able to use both character's specials in one match, I think I've a new character who's my fav to try and unlock when I get Deception.

I really like it.. they finally captured the ninja-like fighting Noob and SMoke needed.,.,.
I think it's MUCH better this way
And although I eally like both characters, they where both Scorpion clones, and their original moves whern't all that interesting by themselves.. I think it would have been a waste of space to have them both separated

I agree.. I love this idea.. it's a new idea and I'm glad that Boon & Co. had the balls to try out this new idea.

yes.. that's true.. they were both clones of Scorpion, that makes me even more excited to see what moves and fatalities are with this new character grin

I kinda like the idea, but I can understand the pain for Smoke or Noob fans that wanted their favorite Character stand on their own.

When I saw that video I was so disappointed that they made them a tag team. Never really liked Noob so it becomes a problem for me. I feel that I've lost all my interest for this game because of this. Noob and Smoke never had a friendship. They had better give us a good reason as to why they are tagged now. Smoke has been my all time favorite along with Mileena. I'm still gonna get it and try them out.

Let me start off by saying, that i've been a big fan of smoke and noob for a while now. I like noob saibots whole costume, not only in here but in mk:t(even though he was just a black scorpion).I like smoke, and his whole story from cyborg to ninja I disliked him copying Scorpions moves. Ok now that that's out of the way, SMOKE AND NOOB ARE NOT FUSED, they're just together. Smoke has his own moves and noob saibot has his own moves. At first I though it was gonna suck, having them fused and having the same moves. Just recently I saw that they're NOT FUSED, just together for some apparent reason which i'm sure we'll find out when the game comes out. If these characters STAY together, then I'd be kinda mad(but I wont cry over it) but we're gonna have to find that out in the future.

Well, it seems people weren't imagining things when they said Smoke's boots looked like it had the BoS symbol on them. I guess we have our reason for that now...

I really don't mind the fact that the two act as a tag team. Although, I think they should of just made a tag mode if they were going to do that. I imagine they will be sharing the same life bar, if not, then I will have something to bitch about.

I am rather curious to hear the explination as to why/how these two have joined up.

I really love this new twist. I'm just waiting for the story, because without a semi-believable story, no one is going to buy this whole fusion/tag team thing. They need each other for some reason, bound to each other maybe. We'll know soon enough.
Does Sub-Zero360 know that they are a tag-team ninja group? I think, he thinks that they are one character. Awesome idea MK team. Can't wait too see the story with them, I hope Noob decives Smoke.

HWEHEWHE,, in the new select screen u can see their slot and it has both their heads in it... it looks cool
I fuckin' love it as it happens.

Going to be one of my favs, can't wait to play as them grin.

Yeah I think it is a stupid idea.
I think that smoke could have stood by itself and is a memoriable character.
Noob lacked originality to me with his moves but his design was off the hook in MKD.
But I really think they stuck with that Idea to get that Saibot surname away from the MK series.

i know that there not fused together, but what am trying to say is that when i want play with noob i want to play with noob without smoke fighting with me when i want to play with smoke i want to play with smoke without noob coming in and inturrupting the fight the whole i dea of switching between to different characters while fighting sucks, well not in a waythat it looks bad but it looks cheap they are the only two tag team members in mk:d i could see if they did it with other people to blend it in like sub-zero might have a move when raiden jumps in or maleena might have a move where beraka comes in som thing like that to blenad it in. The whole thing is just RANDOM!

oh yeah and what about alternates? and who starts at the begining of the game? noob or smoke? probably they dont have alternates and when you try to change into there alternates there name will change to smokenoob and smoke will start the beginnning of the match and when you change back noob will start the match.this is confusing i hate this whole idea!

I was pretty skeptical at first, but after seeing the video, it might just turn out to be a very nice addition to the game and I welcome both characters back to the game.

Sure, they look nice in action together. But there are things to consider:

2 Fatalities and a Hara-Kiri - per character, or total?

Bios & Endings - Two, or one? Can you select a primary character?


It's a nice idea, but they seem like they should be a mid-boss more than anything.

I seriously hope that there is some kind of option to de-fuse them. Lots of Smoke and Noob fans are feeling gypped that for some reason, their character can't have 2 martial arts styles and a weapon.
