Let's just keep Stryker out of MK:D....

Not a big Stryker fan. They'd have to change his look ALOT for me to like him. They took a cool concept of having a riot cop in the game and made him look like Joey from Full House with a cute stripedy shirt and a lame backwards hat. If they put another cop in an MK game, or Stryker for that matter, they should look more military. Perhaps instead of a cop, they could use someone in army fatigues Solid Snake style, or someone all in black Sam Fisher style, but then he'd probably look too much like Noob, so nevermind.

Conclusion: If they bring back Stryker, they'd have to change his look A LOT for me to like him.

Just look at Nighwolf. At first people were bitching about him existing in the MK series and now that he finally got a total new look people are changing their opinion. I do not want to see Stryker in MK6, I rather see him on future MK's. Too many classic characters would clash MK6.

I rather him die, I HATE him just as much as I HATE Reiko. He was the stupidest character ever to grace the MK Universe.

OMG, stryker is even WORST than reiko. I hope stryker never appears in any mk game again, he was beyond horrible, and he would never fit well into the mk universe.

STRYKER RULES

Aside from Sonya and Jax, Stryker's the only other character I can really relate to. I lost a cousin in the line of duty. He was a SWAT team officer, and it was a shame losing him. I play as Stryker as a tribute to my cousin, and I want him back in a future game.

Stryker was a great character, with unlimited potential.

umm...no he had no potential whatsoever. If they put him in the game it would be a waste of the character spot. Just think of people who could fill that spot: Rain, Smoke, Sektor,etc.

Stryker should come back, wearing SWAT style body armour. He's probably the most underrated character in the MK series. I'd much rather see him than more clone ninjas that someone mentioned. I agree about Stryker being easier to relate to.

He's an ordinary (if incredibly well armed) guy, who just happened to survive Kahn's invasion and ends up having to help in the fight. Stryker had no idea about MK or the past goings on. The fact that he relied on weapons rather than magic fireballs or whatever is also very unique.

im not a big fan of stryker but i think stryker has a 1% chance of going in mk:d but i think it would be a waste of spot and i dont think he was worser then stryker i think reiko was a good charchter

I didn't really like stryker that much. And the fact that he used weapons doesn't make him unique. If you still see sub, scorp etc. as just a bunch of pallette swapped characters like they were in other mk games than totally individual people that they are now, then you will have to look at stryker as a filler character. The reason why i think i don't like him and that most other people don't like him, is the fact that they used real people in the past mk games. Thats why nightwolf, stryker and maybe some others looked totally gay. If they did bring him back they would give a total 3D overhaul and a new non-stupid look. According to his story he was just a riot cop who survived the invasion. He has no real or stable connection to MK. So i doubt he will be in the next game. He may be in future games but there is a very good chance he won't be back in this one.

That's the problem with Styker,he's just to plain.In a game with super natural beings,gods,demons,mutants and so on he just doesn't fit.I respect what swat teams and police officers do in real life but this is a video game.So I have to say no to Styker ever returning.Plus I think a couple of characters from MK3 desevered to return more then he does Kabal,Sektor,Sheeva.And if none of them are slated to return then Styker shouldn't.

i dont think he is a bad character, most of u said that he looks stupid but how many of the clasic char are looking the same?

or if u dont like the gun then why u want sektor he throws missiles or cyrax that also throws granades.

and in a game where everybody is supernatural a guy with only good fighting skills and some weapons is special. imo the things that doesnt fit in mk are childs.

Okay, we clearly need more characters like Stryker in the MK series. It's people like Stryker that would keep the whole MK series from being just characters with fireballs. Stryker was also one of the many characters in MK3 who kept MK3 from being flooded by Ninjas! But did the fanboys care about originality? NO! They wanted Scorpion back, and they got him back, but with a HUGE cost; UMK3 was FLOODED WITH NINJAS! I think they should LIMIT the number of ninjas put in each MK game, or even put a fully TRADITIONAL Ninja in an upcoming MK game!

If he does ever come back, he should only use his guns during Fatalities/Hari-Karis; it would not be realistic at all if u were shot and it only hurt u this much: ---- on u'r health meter. Really I think he sucks worse than any other character; maybe not, there is of coarse Bo Rai Cho farting and puking everywhere (how stupid can it get).

do not bring back styker.. bring back good classic characters.. Styker was by far the worst and most pointless character ever to grace the MK universe... there are plenty of better characters to fill that slot in MK:D... if styker is in this i'll be disapointed and constantly be reminded of some cool character that didn't make it in because of him... but it's still going to be a sweet game either way.

Stryker had great moves. The biggest complaint people have is his look. That is also the easiest thing to fix; they even have concept art of Stryker looking cool, it's gust a matter putting it into action.

Stryker was actually an awesome concept. The people that don't like him are the people that just don't get it.

Let's assume for a minute that the world is invaded by beings vastly supperior to yourself; beings that have every type of magic you can immagine at their disposal. What would you do?

A) Sit back and die-No.

B) Fight back with your limited skill and probably die-No!

C) Go in, armed to the teeth, and blast the hell out of all of them-YES!

That is the way anyone here would do it, and that's the way that Stryker does it. It's all just fair to even the odds. This is "Mortal" Kombat, and there is nobody better to represent the common man, than Stryker.

However, I think the return of Stryker should depend on the plot of the game and where it takes place. It it's just about going into Outworld to fight the Dragon King, Stryker can stay home. But, the Dragon King and his army so much as sets foot in Earthrealm, I say let Stryker have his return.

No, I think the worst character was probably Kai. As for Stryker I'd like to see him back with a darker story. If nothing else he was a testement at how strong the human race is. He survived the invasion just with his skills and weapons. No ancient arts, no fireballs. Please read my story for Stryker on the Official Character Speculation thread on page five and tell me what you think. i also have one for Kabal on the same page.

Stryker was awesome. He was a chosen man to survive the invasion. Why? We never found out what made Styker special, as there was so much moaning about his character going on. What happened to Stryker? He probably didn't die, as nothing is mentioned in any of the characters' stories. I say bring him back close to the brink of insanity. America is supposed to be the most powerful nation in the wrold, right? Why not have an ordinary martial artist and SWAT officer (assuming that does happen) get a hold of something really dangerous and use it in Mortal Kombat?

Stryker needs another chance, and I think we need to see a bit deeper into his mentality.

I liked Stryker. He was cool. Give him a chance.
