Sub-Zero's Costumes: Like it or Dislike it?

I personally am disapointed in the whole shredder thing. It doesnt look that bad, but to me, Sub-Zero was the coolest lookin ninja in MK. The shredder thing doesnt ruin him, I just think he looks better in the ninja uniform, I hope we can unlock the old costume. Oh and the other costume looks completely stupit, the bald head and pale ass skin, he looks like a nazi with cancer. One other thing I will mention is that on the ps2 KEdition the artwork of Sub-zero is great, he is still in the Shredder costume but the way they drew him is phenominal, yet it differs alot from the in-game look. Post your thoughts and suggestions and if you know of being able to unlock his old costume holla at me

I too thought it looked more like shredder than anything. Isn't there one when he's unmasked and basically bald? or am I thinking of something else. I thought his alternate MK:DA costume looked good this one is alright just the helmet looks a little off.

Actually, I like both of his MKD costumes. I don't really like the bald head and ponytail thing in his alternate, but it's still a pretty cool costume nonetheless.
He looks more medium built this time unlike how he was a bit too muscular looking in MK: DA.

Yeah the bald one is retarted lookin. The alt from DA is the best one to me. No matter what though Sub-zero is still one of my favorite characters.
How bout Noob Saibot, he kinda looks like the multiplayer spy from Splinter Cell; PT
and on the KEdition on the xbox version I seen 2 different Scorpion costume, one was the new lookin one on the cover the other was and older lookin model kinda like MK4's

You make a good point about the build, I think he just looks kinda old now though. Im looking at pics of them now, All in all they dont look all that bad. The shredder one is ok, and the bald one adds character to a great character, I think it woulda been cool to see and everything, I definitly do wish they have the classic costume for unlocking

I'm in the minority here, but I absolutely love his alt. I'd even go so far as to say I like it better than the Shredder look.

The Shredder costume isnt that bad....I really dont like his alternate costume (Looks like Tong Po from Kickboxer)....she should have kept his original look from MK:DA (no mask) or at least a more "Grand Master" look....
I like the "Shredder" look, but I absolutely hate his bald, pale skinned alternate, he looks like a zombie.

I for one don't like either of his costumes. The Shredder look is feasible I guess because he's the grandmaster, but I think it just looks dumb. As for the alt, people who played Soul Calibur 2 will agree with me here: Sub looks like Astaroth but with a ponytail and a shirt on.

I love the original costuime. The Shredder look owns! It's the alt I'm disappointed with, but I expect I'll grow to like it. I just want some scissors to remove that damned ponytail. It must go!

I like his costumes, I prefer Sub-Zero's shredder look over his basic outfit from MK:DA. His alternate costume is something that was not welcomed at first by me, but I have seemed to accept it. I just can't wait to see another costume of Sub-Zero's.

Shred-Zero = sweet.
Baldy cancer merchant = Meh.
Subs alt costume was awesome in MK:DA, minus the strange shaping of the model in certain positions, which sometimes made him look like he had a little too much junk in the trunk.
MK:DA masked alt- with a little cool tweaking- should have been his alt in MK:D. But ah well, maybe the MK teams art guys don't seem to be the most stylish, creative, or "hip" people in the industry, but they do a decent job.
That said, some of the MKO fant art submitters here have blown my mind, and should really be doing official character design sketches for the MK series.

I like Sub-Zero's new costume..it's pretty cool..his alternate is crap...I would rather have his MKII costume as an alternate *also MK3 Ultimate..Classic Sub-Zero*
~Sub-Zero's Maskless costume from MK:DA was alright

I love both his costumes. His "shredder" one kicks ass and I particulary love his alternate. The whole point of an alternate is to have something different. I wish that they would give scorpion a new outfit too, he basically has 2 of the same outfit.

Shredder look is awsome but the fruity-boy ponytail thing is a big no go. It really doesn't even look like the Sub-Zero anymore. I'm really banking on the supposed third costume being in the game because I'm never going to use the ponytail one.

True, but different isn't always better.
If Boon changed Scorpions primary "look" as greatly as he has changed Subs different primary "looks" over the years, the majority of Scorpion fans would have a f*cking asthma attack. tongue
