- I think all the prisoners in the prison stage are playable characters. Here's an idea on how to unlock them:
While the konquest guy is training and advancing his fighting style with time, he'll be searching for the keys where there's one key in each konquest stage to open the cell of one of the prisoned characters.
We can see an empty cell in the prison stage for the character that we already freed.

- For the unlockable characters on the select screen, the konquest guy has to gather a certain amount of different coins from the konquest stages and pay to unlock each character.

- I also believe that there r more unlockable characters but don't really have an idea on how to unlock them. Maybe when the konquest guy gets old enough to become a playable character and reaches maximum power where he has accomplished all the konquest stages and unlocked all the unlockable & prisoned characters, there'll be additional hard konquest stages to accomplish in order to unlock super/hidden characters.

I have a feeling that Rain is gonna be super, SUPER unlockable.

Even though I think the one's in the prison stage will be the super unlockable characters. Even though, I'm hoping you play as Reiko, Rain, Kitana, and Reptile(Ninja), and Sektor. That's it. Plus basically all of these characters are ninjas and if they do add all of these characters then it will be Ninjafest all over again.

I think a lot of u r thinking way too hard; it's basically obvious that the Prison Stage Characters are the "Super Unlockable Characters"; as for Rain fans I think he's kewl but don't get too over excited - I very seriously doubt he'll return right away thanx to (Raiden, Ashrah, and Nightwolf all having electric-type powers)!!!

by the way Jade is still in the Prison Stage (not swapped out with Kitana - I don't know who was on crack and made that up)

It would be funny if Goro or a new shokan is one of the super duper hidden fighter.

and i don't think Reptile would be a ninja again. would be cool but won't happen.......maybe

the other prison characters could be possable as well too.

I'm going to go with the 36 character theory. Ed Boon said there would be hordes of characters, so meh.

I just got some info for you guys on some of the possible super hidden fighters. BUt first i will tell you that sektor, shuginko, are not the supers hiddens or jade because they are on the fighter select screen already.
NOw i can tell you that the new shokan durac is not on the fighter select screen, the chimera who boon said would be playable in his interview is not in the fighter select screen. thats two, ALso is makes sense for RAIN to be hidden since they have every other damn ninja in the game, BUT..... dont be sooo surprized when u see some of the SUPER hidden fighters to be a little bit GENERIC, in other words, some may or may not have fatalitys and some might have others fighting styles or fatalitys or looks. So from what i heard from(cant say LOL) Rain will indeed be in and boon himself wanted to hint to you by saying "oh rain will be in konquest ppl" remember that right? good, but rain will have subzeros alternate outfit look from MK:DA but in purple. i like that outfit anyway and subzero looks different now so i dont care.

They purposly put losers that noone likes in MK in the jailcells so that you can see them but wont be like "oh i want to play as styker, i want to play as hsu hso" but they added them in the jailcell so that when u get too close to the cells they will attack you in the stage, (but if you "unlock them all" how could they attack you in this stage DUH) also they put losers that you dot care baout in the jailcell. AND two YES they did indeed take JADE out of that cell, and they now took out kitana in the cell, and they are as i speak deciding whether to keep kitana in the cell or put her in the DKs stage(the DK captured her storyline wise) but they are finishing the game up with the finishing touches and i think they just decided to keep kitana in the jail cell. THEY DID take out fujin and jade and they ARE playable.

sektor and shuginko ARE NOT SUPER playables they are on the main roster, and for a fact fujin durac and chimera are super playable CHARACTERS 100% sure, the others well dont get hyped but dont get your hopes up on them.

I was also told, that to unlock these fighters you must beat the game with all 24 fighters and get all of their endings, and of course to get that you have to unlock the 12 unlockable fighters, then after that you would have to complete konquest 100%(to get 100% you have to meet every MK fighter and when you meet the 12 unlockables they will be unlocked, BUT you would have to complete their endings to meet certain other MK fighters in the game. So in other words i am telling you guys that you have to meet these MK fighters not only by a certain game time and certain game day, and certain realm, BUt you meet some MK fighters only when you unlock another specific person like for example i was told, in order to meet jade, you would not only need the right time, realm, and day, but you would need to unlock sindel first to even see JADE in the first place in konquest. And in order to see the SUPER unlockables you would need to have unlocked and beaten the game of arcade mode with all 24 fighters.
ANd yes if you are wondering, i dont think its possible to beat konquest 100% the first time around, for example lets SAY, sindel is met on DAY 7 in konquest mode and JADE is on DAY 3, you would have to unlock sindel, beat the game?? and then start to day 3 to get jade???? unless it goes by days 1-7 and back to 1 again like 7 days in a week. BUt anyway, pretty good info i got anyways. unlock 24 by time day realm and also SOME by dependnig on which other fighter you unlock they would only appear, then get all 24 endings (as if unlocking them all didnt take long enough now u need ALL endings) then play konquest OVER(oh my goshhhhh, just to get the SUPER hidden fighters.) LONG GAMEEE indeed IMO, but for one these OTHER unlockables that i dont know about better freaking be good if i gonna do all of that, AND since they are SUPER hidden unlockables when this game comes out, there will be sooo much rumors from you guys that is isnt gonna be funny. all i say is SHAO KHAN better be playable after all of that.

ALSO GUYS WAKE UP IS RIGHT, there isnt gonna be more then 30 fighters so wake up cause you ppl that think there will be 60 playable fighters are gonna be and i mean gonna be VERYYYY disappointed when the game comes out.

I am aware of who will be unlockable and playable and I believe some pats of your post and other parts I'm not so sure about.

The fact that the unlocking process was revealed to you, if that is indeed it is very interesting. I would think no one would have such information to give out at this time. That would be information that they wouldn't want out at all.

Right now I'm wondering whether or not to trust your source.

i'm sure that the super unlockable will be only the chars in the prison stage. no others.

Looks like i wasnt the only one that was told about Rain.

I'm more cautious in my predictions. I say they'll be three to four super secret characters and I only know the indentity of two and a half of them: Raiden, Liu Kang, Sub-Boss and the fourth.

Rain was basically a possibilty ever since Kitana being kidnapped was mentioned. Then adding Jade, Sindel and Tanya basically tells you we have an Edenian reunion in MKD. Whose missing? Rain! He has been mentioned, so I guess we will see him!

This sounds pretty acurate to me, I'd say it's anybody's guess though on who the super unlockables are. I just hope Shang Tsung is one of them. I woulnd't be surprised if the extra characters are just the MKDA characters that didn't make it in Deception. No upgraded outfits, litterally the same characters just to play as.
