Let me explain my choices for Super Unlockeables. First, Rain. Rain makes perfect sense for 4 reasons. First off, his story. Considering Jade' presence and role in the game, it is only natural Rain is also part of this story as he is a loyal friend to the Edenian royal family as well. Number 2, every other ninja except for him(and of course Reptile hes the DK), are in this game so far. 3, it would make sense for him to be a hidden character or I don't think Boon would have specifically mentioned him as being in Konquest. And finally, a lot of people with sources on this site seem to believe he will be in.
Mavado, simply because of his story and the fact that Kira, a Black Dragon is present. Considering the ongoing fued between the Black and Red Dragons, I am sure there will be a Red Dragon representitive in this game as well, and its Mavado.
Frost, once again, because of the storyline. Considering Subby's prominence in the game, and his storyline of discovering his heritage, Frost should be in. I have a feeling she is connected with this storyline. Also, she is already listed as an ally of Subby.
Sareena, I didnt play MK:TE, and I know nothing about her, but considering how many people are pulling for this one, I'd be willing to bet she makes it in.
Durac, simply for the fact that a new Shokan has been rumoured for a long time, and the character of Durac is already present in the storyline of MK.
Onaga, due to the meta tag thing. Now this is pure speculation on my part, but I have a feeling Onaga might be the rumoured male vampire character. And it would make sense, considering the vampires were listed by Raiden as a threat.
Shao Kahn. There are so many reasons for him to make an appearance storyline wise, that it would make no sense for the MK team to leave him out.
Shang Tsung. I don't think the DA was ever defeated before the DK came along, and considering Tsung's track record, I'd be willing to bet he joined on with the Dragon King as a lacky. But of course, he is probably scheming away behind the scenes again.
Quan Chi, because he was not defeated just like Tsung. However, I feel he is probably in hiding somewhere. The oni most likely have allied with the Dragon King, which spells doom for Quan Chi. Plus he has been found in the allies/enemies list. Also this might explain why his lair is present, yet it seems dark and abandoned.
Fujin because of strong rumours and because, considering how strong the threat to all the realms is, it would make sense the Defender of Earthrealm would want to take pre-emptive action by joining in the fight against the DK.
Blaze, because of his story. I know a lot of people did not like him in DA, but his story actually has a lot of potentiol in my opinion. We are not aware of his true allegiances, as his guarding of the egg was just a curse forced upon him. He was on an important mission, and I just have a gut feeling we haven't seen the last of him. I think his mission might have had something to do with the Elder Gods. And I think he might even be the key to defeating the Dragon King.
Kung Lao, because it would be a tragedy if he wasn't in this game considering how well his storyline has been building up. He was great in DA, and it would be a slap in the face to this great and class character and his fanbase not to include him in the biggest MK ever. Also, considering Liu kang's presence, his return is even more likely.
