---Super unlockables do exist---
I think theres at least a few more things to be discovered.
1 being the frozen katakombs. ive seen pics of this, and in kontent you can find a pic of it that says "we dont wanna give to much away, but hopefuly youll be playing here soon".
Also "monster" IS scorpion read his ending. Not just a coincidence that monster tells shujinko hes the elder gods champion. when scorpion is infact their champion. His head even looks pretty identical to his alt in da.

I have mixed feelings about the super unlockables. Even though I really hope they have some as time goes by theres less and less chance. I still think there probably are some but it might take a while to find them. Or maybe there aernt any super unlockables at all. I personally think there are because Boon said there would be many things in the game people might never find, so maybe the super unlockables are just kind of hard to find. Anyways im really hoping to see some super unlockables.

just because they have their own moves and whatever does not mean they are meant to be unlockable, its to make them unique from every other character in the game.
bowser had his own moves in mario 64 - does that mean he was "super unlockable?"
dont get your hopes up people there is probably not going to be any more unlockables than the ones on the char. select screen

yeah i know it's gay that " monster" is actually a character. i thought that was scorpion;s third costume, since there was a rumor going around that they'll have 3.
it's not that bad tho. if monster is a different character, maybe he has a fatality different from scorpion's.......or he at least has one.........hopefully.
i agree tho. a lot of MK:DA character will be SU

No, it isn't obvious.
Boon said it, therefore, there must be an unlockable, that isn't on the select screen.
Please don't try to pass Liu Kang and Raiden off as super unlockables, it is complete non-sense. We knew Raiden and Liu would be in the game, they released videos of them, in kombat mode, months before the release.
Raiden had his own damn special edition cover...they are not super unlockables.
These threads are godamn annoying, because there's a billion of them.
That still doesn't mean that you can rule out SU's. Everyone has a right to their opinion, and their views...people who believe there are super unlockables, will believe it, you aren't changing anyones mind.
actually the ones claiming there are no super unlockables=100% wrong
the makers of Iguide are handling a dispute w/ Midway concerning the following that IS in deception and is not any of the stuff we've already found
more fatalities, hari karis,2 super unlockables, and a few other secrets that weren't in the iguide
no granted the secrets not found in te iguide could've already been found by most diehard mk players, but the 2 super unlockables, fatalities and hari karis mentioned have not been found, and this is why Midway is silencing Iguides.net

I saw someone calls Iguides and has a secret talk with them that Midway doesn't need to know about.
It's right on Iguides.net's site...
They are working out issues with Midway. That CONFIRMS (God I feel like I'm twelve for the caps, but it's a must) that there has to be more than meets the eye so far.
Think about it this way...
For Iguides.net to post something on their website about Midway having "issues" with them is huge. Basically that means... Midway filed an injuction against them, in a court of law, and Iguides.net was forced to post that on their website or risk being sued for lose of revenew.
Nutshell:
Iguides.net figured some shit out and Midway was all kinds of pissed off. (Sorry for the language, but it seems to be the only way to get everyones attention.) Think about it this way, MK:D is what? A game, based on computer programing or code. It isn't hard for some people to hack code and break it down. That's what Iguides.net has done and was going to share, but Midway stepped in.
For all you doubters, put down your hateraide and use logic and legality laws to figure this one out. And get over to Iguides.net and read their post.
That's my two cents.

Hacking the code is more or less aganst the law. Some random person isn't going to get into anytrouble but if a bigger entity does it they would be asking for trouble. I doubt thats where the problem has come from. I haven' read the info your refering to but issues could be over anything.
I will try and look at what is being refered to. I do hope for an actual secret. Not well stashed boxes that have things we knew about before the game came out. At the same time I don't think MK fans want secrets so diffucult to find that only our grand children will discover them. At some point Midway needs to let us know what is or isn't there. So people know what to hunt for or to quit wasting time. We are the fans playing the game and the ones that should have acess to what ever the game has to it. Its not fair to string everyone along having oodles of people wasting time running around the knonquest when they could be doing other things like playing the actual game. Thats taking advantage of our devotion and using us for thier benifit. I don't think thats fair.

I didn't see anything other than that they were trying to work some things out with Midway. Thats obscure to say the least. Where did you come up with the info on what the dispute is about? It would go a long way for users just to know what and if there is something to look for. People can work on a problem if they know what the question is.

Iguides stats that there are "fiercer fatalities." Does this suggest a 3rd Fatality for everyone? haha..that would be cool... Has anyone tried to do a fatality with the grab button?
Anyways, with this whole Iguides/midway thing, if anything, I atleast want a confirmation that there is something else to look for and that Im not waisting my time.

In one week over 1,000,000 units of MKD were sold. If the retail stores only paid say 50% of the sale cost that would mean Midway has already made over 25 million dollars on MkD. I think its only fair that we soon know if there is something to look for.
Maybe I am the only one that remembers this, but there was an excert from an interview with Ed Boon posted on this site. In the interview he said that the character select screen would have 24 spaces. 12 would be playable right away and 12 would be unlockable. Then he said there would be additional characters that do not appear on the select screen. Sort of like Blaze and Mokap. So unless Boon was lying there are at least two more characters to be found. I don't know if that qualifies as a "Super-Unlockable" or not, but there should still be some secrets left to discover.
OK. I've just quickly glanced through this so sorry if it's been brought up.
Shang Tsung and Quan Chi have different stances now.
Shang uses Mantis and Quan Chi only has 1 Broadsword. Why would Midway make changes like this if they were simply "ported" from DA to beat up in Konquest?

I hope there will be SUS but I think there's not..
All the MK:DA konquest character (unplayable) are here just for fun, thats only an (copy, paste) from MK:DA. And to save memory, midway have deleted the specials moves. Here's a fact: Shang Shung have always his alt. costume when you fight with him, why? cause the alt has less details than the others...heh..what an ugly cosume!
And for the guy (don t remember his name) who said that raiden has a 3rd costume (the one from MK:DA)...I don't know if you see but that's the same things as the others, he can't do special moves.
For monster...I just think thats a stupid creation, why they don't just simply put scorpion? dunno...life is complicated
see ya later guyz

Realy there have been like 20 posts on this issue and not on one has there been any real konformation. So I have no problem with this thread at all, but for the rest of u who want to start one, just because u feel like u have found "proof', just please write somthing new.

Those are some great insights guys. I know that nothing can be confirmed as of now, but as the saying goes, " To every legend theres a bit of truth"

The memory thing doesn't wash. If they can have smoke, noob, a third character, and a multi-tiered level all loaded at the same time then they could squeeze in a full functioning character that has already been taylored for use in MKDA. The only space 3D models take up to any extent is for textures. Once they are textured anything else is not of much concern. Baring rendering power but that has nothing to do with memory requirements.
If people are refering to disk space and not actual physical RAM memory then that also doesn't wash. They have a DVD worth of space that PS2 and XBOX would never be able to fill up. Even if they did the texture files for a single character probably only take up the space of 1 of the lame krypt pics. There is no way they could fill up even a single layer 4.7G DVD with textures for a ps2/Xbox. TV resolution, and hardware processing power are all way too low to be using high resolution textures.
The most likly reason not to have them use specials is because thier may be some complication in porting the moves to the new fighting engine. Even the smallest coding change can complicate things. It may have been more trouble than it was worth. In such a case it doesn't look good for being able to use them.

they do well i think...cuz like in mkda..if u beat shang sung and quan chi in arcade mode hard u could get moloch if u highlight raiden and press a certain button so if u beat the dragon king in arcade hard..u would probably unlock a super unlockable r more!!
Let me clear up my "hacking the code" statement.
Where yes it is illegal to steal code and use it for your own game. It is NOT illegal to read code to find out what is in a game.
How do you think most of those Unoffical game books come about? They have people that know how to read the code to find out what is in the game. With that knowledge they make a book. I wouldn't be surprised if Iguides read the code to figure out what else is in the game to make money off selling that to players that want to know. Reading the code is alot easier if someone knows how then playing the game for 6 months.
I think that Iguides was going to release some information that Midway wasn't ready to share. Why? Game interest to those who already bought the game? NOPE! Secondary sales people. Marketing 101...
When a game loses is luster of being "new" how does it make secondary sales? Because something comes out that makes it cool all over again. Gaining main stream attention again and resurging sales.
Thats my two cents.
