Super Unlockables

Ok, this is my guess on the Super Unlockable characters.

1. Raiden

2. Shang Tsung

3. Quan Chi

4. Reptile

5. Shujinko

We already know that we get Shujinko once we beat Konquest so he counts as a Super Unlockable. Shang Tsung and Quan Chi clearly didn't die, and if Raiden is in the game as a playable character, why shouldn't Quan Chi and Shang Tsung be? Those are the next three. And then Reptile just because of the whole thing with Onaga and what not.

The Wildcards for a sixth possible Super Unlockable are as follows:

1. Rain

2. Sektor

3. Sonya

4. Kitana

5. Kung Lao

Rain and Sektor: Because of high demand that he is in the game.

Sonya: Because Midway probably won't just kill her off like that.

Kitana: Same reason as Sonya.

Kung Lao: Too important in the story to die.


This is what I think of the so called, "Super Unlockables."

the only ones im hoping for right now are Quan Shang and Sektor I dont think Raiden is going to be a super unloackable only because he was shown already and his bio was already up. but i agree on the Sonya and Kitana thing how they are too important to kill off but hell take them out they can wait until MK7. Kitana should be in MKD only because Mileena is in.

You're list sounds about accurate to me, I'd personaly like to see rain return too, I'm not a fan of him at all, but it would just seem right to have all of the ninjas since we have so many already. Kung Lao and Sektor wouldn't be abd either. And I'm so glad that the new trailer has given so much more hope that the Deadly Alliance will be playable, here's hopin to kick some ass with Shang Tsung.

Quan Chi, Reptile and Shang Tsung will hopefully be in. Sektor, Rain and Mavado are my bets for the remaining 3.

Who said there are 6 unlockables btw?

No one I don't think. That's why I only gave five, and put the rest as Wildcards. We'll see what happens though.

Nope, he's one of the main 24 players. You can even see his model in the Darrius bio... which has been taken down by IGN for unknown reasons, lol.

What? Liu Kang has been 100% confirmed for the game, yet extremely little has bee divulged about him.

I agree with you ^. The only reason I am saying that Raiden is a Super Unlockable is that ign put his bio on the site and took it off that night I think and no one knew why. Also I just think he might be because everyone in the Intro, besides Onaga, is a Super Unlockable.

If Raiden isn't a Super Unlockable, then I would probably replace him with Sektor in the Super Unlockable status.

I think you mean Hotaru, Temp. Raiden and Liu Kang are regular unlockables. However, I am very skeptical about the "super secret" characters now, I do like to keep my hopes high. I say that Quan, Shang, Sektor, Rain, and Mavado return. I have my serious doubts about Reptile. And I personally think that Sonya and Kung Lao didn't make it. Jax will be on a hellbent mission for revenge against whoever killed Sonya, and we know that Kitana is still alive. And what about that rumored Shokan warrior? Think he's legit, or just another rumor?

I think two of them are definately going to be Rain because of that clear hint that was given and then Sektor. If Sektor's not in when he has such a great story line going, they must be saving him for something big. It's the only reason they probably wouldn't fit him in.

True..but I'm still pulling for a different super-unlockable.. Liu Kang is so played out, I wonder how he got into MKD..

I personally think that the new Shokan or however you spell it, is the new Sub Boss. Think about it, Goro was finally killed in the last one. One of his brothers, has to be pissed. Now he is coming back to avenge his brother's death.

Either that or Shao Kahn will be the Sub boss. ::hopes::

How do you know that everyone in the intro except the DK are super unlockables??Am I missing some news or something??

I'm thinking that the Super Unlockable characters are all of the people imprisoned in the jail stage. If you unlock them you probably won't see their model in the jail stage anymore.

the super unlockeables aren't the jail stage characters; apparently each time you load the jail stage, the cells are holding different characters.

The Super Unlockeables are probably the bosses for Konquest; my theory is that the following are super unlockeables:

01.Raiden
02.Shang Tsung
03.Quan Chi
04.Kung Lao
05.Jax Briggs
06.Sonya Blade
07.Johnny Cage
08.Frost
09.Mavado
10.Kitana
11.Sareena
12.Sektor


yes, I know, many of them seem to be outcold in the intro; Kitana is known to be kidnapped; but she was also kidnapped in MK4.

Also, remember Mileena dying in UMK3, but still being playable? Same deal. I'm not sure if all of those characters will be in it, but I'm sure atleast 6 of those will be among the Super Unlockeables.
