I think the cell shading is better.

Did u notice in the pic with Ermac that Barakas blades r going through his hands. I hope they fix that..........

it is a waste of time to nit-pick early pics from any game. a game always looks different in motion than in a still pic. in sc2 pics you notice swords going through legs sometimes but when you actually play the game you almost never notice such a detail as youre too busy fighting.

Yes Baraka looks a little weird but I'm sure these things will be fixed up by the time it comes out. Doesn't Nightwolf look good though.

The game is in 3D and its supposed to be easier to move around so maybe Baraka was going to the side or something and got hit.

Plus Im sure all the bugs will be fixed the game isnt due until 10/04 right.

I think in all the screen shots the characters are in odd poses, or they look really weird all together. I don't think it will be fixed. But I just want the game to be really fun to play, the graphics are not too important.

But check out the high quality textures and resolutions. The detail is fabulous. 10 times better that MKDA.

Hope that is the final settings for MKD.

It's early, the game is sounding like it is going to be great. I do agree that the graphics we have been shown just on the characters looks craptastic but it's not the final product. Plus as someone stated they are still pics. I'm sure by the ship date we all will be satisfied.

I hope they fix that too. I pointed it out in another thread. Aside from that, the pics look amazing. If those are the final graphics for the game then we're in for a treat!

Nightwolf looks amazing! I'm glad he has his shoulder ram in there.

Baraka looks pretty cool and I'm glad they've thrown in his MK2 outfit.

And Ermac also looks real cool. He just needs a third outfit that shows him less human.

theyre screenshots but they are more like what we'll get rather than the graphics in the trailer... the always pump it up and make it look so good in trailers...
i hope they fix those problem, and make the graphics 2x better!

The graphics will look better.Foer example,Smackdown Here Comes The Pain looked worse than MKD,but it turned out to have some really awesome graphics.Then again,it wasnt made by midway

I wonder why they made Ermac white in MKD.

He had very dark skin in UMK3.

its Mortal Kombat guys! in my life i never saw a game with more bugs than games like UMK3, MKT and MK4/Gold...its like the team doesnt see them ...anyways think about it

most of the mk games have little bugs in them that look awkward!

the team just thinks it looks real great bcoz theyve worked on it so hard, but i bet they never ask other ppls ideas b4 releasing the game...
