So what are all the realms in Konquest?

But you mentioned a vampire realm, and I also know that there is supposed to be a Shokan realm. Maybe the game just doesn't include all the realms out there.

Edenia is not playable in Konquest mode, and well i though you read the thread. =|

Hmmm, I thought there were 6 realms, but now Im hearing 5. Anywho MKF, I agree, Earth realm only really hase slaves to offer. I would like the realm to play a bigger role though. Maybe hosting another tournament, or becoming a true resistance against evil, like Edenia.

Yes Meta i totally agree with you, i mean Edenia had Armies against the threat, why not earht? isn't it stupid? Earthrealm is not the goal anymore of the DK, he plasn to control the whole universe, i mean earth is jsut a mere puny realm.

I wouldn't say the Earthrealm has lost it's purpose. The reason it's so heavily targeted is because it's one of the few realms that's still stable and rich.

Edenia may be the point of action, but keep in mind, it's still being rebuilt after being pillaged by Kahn. The netherealm is the after waste of all the realms put together, so although it has influence, it has little power. The Order/Chaos realms I'll have to wait and see what happens.

Well ok let's not get with politics in the Earthrealm with that rich and stable things TUN! , i think the Earthrealm is jsut another Realm with not that big importance no more, i mean the greatest warrior in MK is now SUbbie, he's from earth but have you seen that all the new fighters but Kobra are from other realms, no one's protecting the Earth no more as we dont know what happened to Raiden.

Earthrealm spawns some of the heroes of the future. You say they don't care about the dangers and threeats from other realms, but some do. To those few it is an important task to defend their realm. Those few make the difference.

Also, bare in mind that the realms you mentioned have already been conquered. They know what will happen to Earth realm and other realms if they let evil takes over. they have seen it, felt it and experienced it. They're trying to prevent this from happening to tohers. The people of Earth turn a blind eye simply because they haven't seen the destruction these warlords are capable of. If Earth realm was taken over, then I expect we would see many Earth warriors fighting!

In the end, the overall task is to oppose the evil threats. They reside in other realms, not Earth. So Earth realm also doesn't really have much of a place in there because of that. The realm is still integral to the story. It's lack of involvement doesn't make it any less important.

just the fact that the elder gods didnt step in to create a mk tournement until shao kahn tried to take over earth should tell ya that earth is the #1 realm of all realms..its the strongest one. if a bad guy ever had control of earth it would be absolute power.. all the energy mystic, majic, to have control of earth would be a hugh coo for what ever bad guy that had 100 % control of it.. shao kahn almost had full control but lost..even w/ all of his cheating he still couldnt get complete control.. i bet the dragon king's #1 goal will be to get control of earth realm.. as it holds the key to great power..

I'd pick smoke or ermac to defend earthrealm

Earthrealm isnt useless, like u said its got hordes of slaves and who doesent want hordes of slaves.

But anyway, just because this game dosent revolve around earthrealm dosent mean its useless.

For some reason, I just recalled Mortal Kombat Conquest. Anyone remember Raiden explaining to Kung Lao something along the lines that Earthrealm was the nexus of all portals and Earth provided a way to jump to any realm?

Actually all the portals leading to earth have been closed, there are just some only known to "sorcerers and deities", and well i know that those 6 or 7 ppl are making the difference for earth, but what i dont get is how Edenia even Conquered they fought for their freedom, adn Earth is doing nothing but waiting for these heroes to pop up and defend them, The earth is weak IMO.

I agree with you Ty. I also, however, realize what FrEaKer is saying. Edenia has an ARMY of people battling the evil of DA and DK...(Though it will be interesting to see what turn of events will occur now that Mileena is in control of that army posing as Kitana , Can you say uh-oh?) And what happend when Jax and Sonya tried to warn our government about the tradgedy about to befall Earth? At first they paid it no mind and didn't offer any help. Then, after nearly getting spanked by Kahn, they decided maybe it would be a good idea to for an Agency that looks for threats from other realms to try to stop it from happening. But did they give the SF team the back up of the whole US army? Doesn't look like it. If Earth was about to be dominated, shouldn't the armed forces be called to action to defend? Not just a handful of people? As you said though Ty, I think it's because they don't realize the magnitude of what WILL happen if the forces of evil prevail. Edenia, however, knows full well the consequences that await. Hence mobilizing the army.

Mileena is going to lead that army into war most likely against anyone who opposes her for the throne. Even Baraka or Tanya. If the Kitana turns up, things will get very interesting then. she could take the army to Earth realm and begin an invasion. this is her chance to weaken its defences too. Send them to Earth realm to get slaughtered or send them wherever to put Edenia in turmoil and chaos.

Agreed guys, i think Edenia and Mileen will have a lot to do with the role fothe Earthrealm in the next set of games and scenarios.
