eh cage died once before so not to worried about him, but not kitana and SONYA!!! nooooooo lets hope the prison stage doesnt get changed, so at least we have kitana safe!!!!

wow thanks again konqrr. I think those warriors are just defeated. Although if a few were dead it would explain their absense from MKD

I have yet a question : where is Frost? We don't see her on the last pics... :/

i hope all but kitana are dead. sonya, jax and cage are totally done and have been for a while. kung lao is decent but again his story is done. time for fresh, new meat. kitana is a 10,000 year-old princess of a realm so she can stay as long as she likes.

I've looked everywhere and I don't see Frost at all. Besides, in Sub-Zero's bio it shows Smoke, Frost, and Raiden as his allies.

In the end of the video when the ethereal (?) blast is seen, you can see 2 Tarkatan Warriors fall to the floor outside Shang Tsung's Palace.

Personally, I don't see that Kitana can bring furthermore than Johnny Cage, Jax or Sonya in MKD... Her presence as Onaga prisoner is just a pretext to bring back Sindel and Jade... Midway would have been able as well to make Kitana die without problem, the fact whether she is a queen changes nothing: Goro was a prince, it's not as far as he survived...

If you don't like a character, this is your right, but avoid stupid pretext which also serve for the players who don't love your favorite characters... :/

that is some lofty advice. by your logic it is more likely a karate movie actor, a ghetto soldier, an army girl, and a monk are gonna make it to further games over a 10,000 year-old princess. kitana is far from one of my favorites; sorry to let ya down. i am simply stating of those on the steps she would be the only one i could tolerate returning. the rest are poop.

Honestly, I don't think any of them are dead... and if they are... they probably wouldn't stay like that for very long...

I think the DK goes back to take them with him, and that's when Jade arrives and sees what happened.. (In her bio it says she saw what happened to kitana) and she probably gets captured as well... (she is in the jail too)

I can understand why most fighters might be dead but wasn't Jax confirmed to be playable a couple of months ago?

I thought Jax's confirmation was a hoax that has yet to be proven either way.

It was confirmed by Gamespot. And on MKO.

Maybe he was confused with Darrius... When Jax was confirmed, we didnt't know yet Darrius existence, I believe...

So far every confirmation of Jax has turned out to be hoax or Darrius.

I have a theory of why Cage, Sonya, Jax, Kung Lao, Kitana, and Frost. are lieing there.

With Raiden, they battled the Tarkatan forces, but one of the Tarkatan army members sliced off Kung Lao's leg. This angered the group and they battled the forces relentlessly. But the takatrans killed Kitana, Sonya, Jax, Kung Lao, Kitana and Frost. But Raiden was the only one left. He fended off the forces with great ease. Then he challenged Shang Tsung and Quan Chi to Mortal Kombat.

Kitana is not dead, she's prisoner... Maybe others Earth warriors are alive yet, but probably none of them will be playable...

Bo Rai Cho farted and knocked them all out. Apart from Raiden who is a thunder god and is immune :D

Kitana isnt dead. Shes held prisoner by the Dragon King.

In Jades bio it sayd that jade witnessed what had happened and Kitanas fate, and raced to tell Sindel, and had to free her because Tanay has imprisoned her.
In Sindels ending it says she escapes to Outworld to free Kitana. If Kitana was dead, Sindel would be fleeing in an act of revenge to avenge her daughters killer.
I dont think Kung Lao, Sonya, Forst, Cage are dead either, maybe some of them. Jax is supposedly confirmed too.
