Jade's Blade-a-rang
This is a standard projectile that also doesnt bind Khameleon to a certain weapon stance, ala Kitana's fans and Mileena's Sais.

Kitana's Pretty Kick
Sonya has the Square Wave Punch, the Fan Lift is lame without a fan, and a plain teleport seems like a waste, So this is the most suitable move to take from Kitana.

Mileena's Teleport Kick
Well its this or the Rolling Attack, and either would be a suitable special. The rolling attack is more akin to Reptile since he has something similar, but without this Khameleon would have no good teleport.

Tanya's Find Me
Sure, she wasn't in MKT, nor was she ever a pallet swap, but she is a character Made from a concept Kitana. Plus, she is an Edenian Chick Warrior, and Khameleon needs more moves. And its invisibility, a strong homage to Reptile and her saurian bonds with him.

what do ya think? everyone should try htis, or go completely against it.

this is a fantastic idea

one thing: the winning entry should be looked upon as the *OFFICIAL* khameleon KAK on MKO (and maybe it's affiliates if there willing to participate) with or without the mkteams approval, and the best story should probably be chosen seperately just in case the best khameleon has a crappy bio

i wonder if midway will make an official announcement on how one should include khameleon in KAK after the games release heck they might even write a story for her

special attacks are pretty straight forward for her so i'd leave that one out

would second place be considered the alternate costume?

Mine was, who ever made the best khameleon, Their Khameleon would be the unofficial standard Khameleon model to go by when creating her. but how will voting work? how many vote options can we have in this forum post? i havnt tried. I guess it wouldnt be to hard. Similar costumes can go against each other, similar storylines can compete with each other, and similar movesets can compete side-by-side to. Stances seems hard- maybe every one votes for their favorite hand to hand and favorite weapon, and the last few combinations of them compete?

cant wait for this game. Can we sticky this 'til later?

I still don't like the whining over Khameleon (none in this thread, to clarify), but this is a great idea. What you said about the fans swaying MK is truth. If this is actually important to most fans, I hope you get a lot of worthy entries to choose from.

Its inevitible that we will get good choices. If we take my suggestion for splitting it up into different categories, we can't go wrong cause we would have the best look, special moves, fighting styles, attcks, story, etc for Khameleon.

Its very unlikely 1 person can make all of those traits the best so, having them split up into different categories will guarentee the best possible combination of attributes.

The only problem is . . . I think we only get to create two fighters, and I would hate to use this for one, and only be able to create one fighter . . .
Its one KAK per profile. So if you have a 360, I think the # of KAK fighters is a bit more. Still, so long as you just popped open this website after the winners are chosen it shouldnt take more than 5-10 minutes to make Khameleon...

Again, can we sticky this?

if this game is set up similar to MK:DA&D each memory card will have ten profile's then if you have two memory cards you could have 20 on the game at the same time

not to mention if you have more than 2 memory cards you can swap them out so the # of KAK's you can make is dependant on the number of memory cards you have (i've got 3 grin )

Well, it seems that we'd like to mix-and-match the best possible results, so that's the route we'll be taking.

Also, don't forget, there's the matter of an alternate costume. Even if a KAK can only have one costume, a second one could just as easily be created and use instead. All up to the player to pick which one they want. :D

wow. that is freaking awesome. Nice color combinations, and being Asian is pretty cool. I would give her a mask since she is suposed to be Saurian...

Looks like half Frost and half Jade.

Seriously though, do you think the guys at Midway would even accept the e-mail?
we dont need their acceptance. all we need is our own: this is the "MKO Official Khameleon"

or were we really going to make midway do somehting about it? it is just a KAK, right?

I am all for this - it is an awsome idea IMO and I am definitely in. But there are just a few issues I would like to address...

1. When will our entries be due - for people such as myself who come from PAL territories, will we get enough time to unlock all of the parts of KAK and to create a good looking Khameleon... it should be around the end of October IMO

2. Is KAK really neccessary - I doubt the MK Team really make their characters using something as limited as KAK. I do not see why we can't use either KAK or pencil/paper to create our own concepts.

So yeah... that is about it. It is a really great idea Shadaloo, just thought I would get a few things cleared up first.

1 - Your point about PAL countries getting the game later is a very valid and good one. I'm thinking of setting a date of Nov. 1st. As well, if she actually IS in the game somewhere, odds are we'll have seen her by then, and we'll know we can call this off.

2 - KAK is necessary for this in that it would very much help the MK team to know we've used their feature to its fullest, and created something really amazing. There's creating a character outside of a game, and then using a feature like this to actually create a character in the game. True that we could use pncil and paper...but then it wouldn't be so much different from what I did when I whipped up Smoke concepts for MK:DA way back when. The KAK feature shows that we're putting as much effort into this as possible.
