Bill, i may as well come clean too. We both said some stupid things to each other, i though you were really annoying on the forums last year, and in a way you were a threat to my position so i gave you a lot of crap. Plus that's just in my nature to do so anyways...
But, you do know a lot about the game. One of the big things you had on me was, i was not fully aware of being able to interrupt combos on block.
I know now I don't have anything to prove with this game. Let me take this bandwidth to apologize and say something...

I remember when I could not stand MKL, this was back when I was a scrub and believed Sub-Zero was top tier and stupid things like that. Then we kinda started getting along and were gonna play each other. We didn't get to play and I was accused of avoiding him, and that made me infuriated since I don't do things like that. After I convinced the community that im not some punk who just talks shit and ducks when it's time to play, we were cool.
Bill's a freaking weirdo, and it's great. The only thing I have against him now is him not staying for MKD. This 1 month shit is absolutely weak, cuz when the "high level" players such as MRS,RS,Konqrr,myself,etc,etc place high in tournaments and he didn't participate i don't wanna hear shit like "if MKL was still playing he'd kill you guys". DOAU is gonna be a better fighting game than MKD, this is obvious, but i don't see why just because a game is better than another game that you can't still play it. T5 is going to be EONS better than MKD, but im still sticking with the franchise I started with nonetheless. Call me an idiot, but that's just how I feel. So bill, stick around, there's really no reason not too.

Bill, expect so see me that weekend the MKD comes out...btw to all the ppl who are comparing DOA to MK...dont, Tekken has done more for fighting games than anyone could imagine, sure Toshinden an VF were the first ones but Tekken took it that much further and set the bar for fighting games...and u may know the other namco fighter???soul calibur, still hasnt been beaten has best fighter ever and ive played them all...also RS, _neo_ look for me, ill be the one wearing the pnkMaggit tags...cuz thats just what i am...

Wait until Tekken and VF end up online too. It's bound to happen. The arcades may never be what they used to be and although nothing will replace actually playing with people in person at least there's something in online fighters to look forward to.
Call me nostalgic but even though I know it's not going to happen again I love remembering what it was like walking through crowded arcades as a kid and seeing things for the first time like fatalities, 3D movement, how awesome Killer Instinct looked on a huge monitor. Hell, the first game I ever actually beat in the arcades was the 6 player X-men game. It took all 6 of us with our respective characters to beat it.
I think it's probably more of an age thing than anything though. At 8 it really doesn't take much to excite you but now at 20 things like that don't mean as much anymore. Isn't it funny how MK, something we all grew to love, caught many of us when we were really little? It speaks volumes about how so called "influential" violent video games are. I must say, everyone I've met who plays MK did so when they were in grade school. And out of those people, 0% of them tried to punch my head off. Sorry for the pointless rant. Just wanted to get all that off my chest.

Looks like this is the year of MK...
