Have you seen Jade's or Sub-Zero's? Cause they both rock the house, I enjoy the new Scorpion and Ermac, too, honorable mention to Hotaru, as well. Yeah, Baraka's is alright, too, but a lot of them are shit. But don't complain about the game or you'll get flamed.

I find all the fatalitys shown so far great

I'm just going by what i've seen so far. And I also think everyone has the right to say about what they feel about this game.

Scorpion's Neck Snapping Fatality was both brutal and comical...but man, I miss his "Skull Incinerator" Fatalities of MK Past. *sigh*

I'm going to agree somewhat, most of the fatalities that we've seen suck. They just aren't that good. They're basically fancy MK4 fatalities in a way if you think about it. Random dismemberments, heads hitting the screen, etc.
There are a few good ones in this game but so far the seem to be the exception and not the rule.

The fatals are alright. Not what I expected, but as long as I don't have to see Quan Chi's neck stretch I'm happy.

True, you should be, but if you find one problem with this game people will jump on your like crazy, telling you not to buy the game and whatnot. Just a heads up.

I really enjoyed the MK4 fatalities.

I dont see the point of a DISCUSSION forum if your not allowed to DISCUSS!!!! Stop flaming coz someone dont like something its fucking stupid - If no one complained or said anything then the game would stay the same. No things would change coz they would think we all love it. So stfu flamers because people are alowed to have there own opinion and the world dosnt allways have to agree with YOU!
Now I got that off my chest - I think that they will look better in the final game since most of what we see isnt the finished, polished up game.
The fatalitys are looking great - with a few that I think could be better and some that are just rubbish (like kiras kick and fall apart).

I think the one's we've seen on IGN are the final ones, i could be wrong, though.

I think the iGN are the e3 build.

Scorpions Fatality was cool, but I thought it was anti-climactic. I mean, usually in an MK game the finishing move in a fatality ends w/ the victim being blown to, ripped to, shredded to, and/or incenerated to a bloody gory mess. In this he just snaps his neck and thats it... Although he did rip an arm and a leg off...

What did you expected from a game that was built two years after the previous one?

i don't know about the fatalities in deadly alliance. for instance look at scorpion's fatality. after he rips off the head, a skull flies out. that's just plain wierd, at least when mileena kills of the opponent, the u can still see the head

I don't know about you all, but IMO, anything is better than a neck stretcher.

im sure these fatalities would be better if they were more graphic. like it could show mileena actually biting deeper and deeper within the neck and blood pouring down to the ground, then she rips it off with her teeth and it shows the skin and tendens that keep the head in her teeth and she spits it out. and scorpions fatality could be more graphic too. he shoots his spear into the arm and pulls it first dislocating the arm (you hear a loud snap the the victim struggles in pain) then pulls again ripping off the arm. you could see bone and where the skin tore and then scorpion shoots his spear to the leg. it tears off once again showing bone and torn skin. the opponent falls down and scorpion pulls him up by pulling his head and start to twist it. they struggle and flail there one arm and whats left of the other to try and get out, and you see the head keep slowly turning until there is a snap and all the movement stops. one more, sub zero's. its cool but after he freezes his victim it could show a close up of him rippin off his head. we can see teh could inside and the torn, frozen spine that has been broken off. he throws it, and it shatters the middle, causing the upper and lower half of the opponent to fall and shatter too. and we would see frozen organs and all the frozen meaty pieces of the body. im sure if we saw a more disgusting, graphic fatality we would be more impressed. when we see the same bodyparts just seperated from the body with nothing more than blood shooting out showing its been torn off then its not that impressive.

I have a feeling alot of the fatalities we arent seeing are even worse cause if midway is going to get people to buy this game they would show all the good fatalities right?and leave the bad fatalities out or repeated fatalities from past MK games.

I dont think people buy mk JUST for fatalites.. that would be pointless when you could just download the videos from the net - anyway I think there will be awsome fatalitys we havnt seen, ones that we will love and want people to have in futre mk games. ok i thought of more graphic ones.
nightwolf- decapitation- this looks stupid. chop off the head and it flies in the air and he catches it. how about this, he grabs his opponents head and swings his tomahawk at the middle of his face (where the mouth meets). opponents eye's roll back and nightwolf rips off the part he chopped off. we see the inside of the half decapitated head (bottom teeth, bottom of the mouth, ect. ) and nightwolf holds the top half in his hand. short, simple, but graphic. or as a totally different fatality he could scalp his opponent (only the opponents with hair though). he would take the sharp part of the tomahawk and cut a deep line (across teh head)above the eyebrow. then he would pull the hair causeing the skin above the scar to rip of, an he would basically rip of the entire scalp.
baraka-body chop- this is one of the cooler fatalities ive seen. he would do the same thing, take his blades and rip up the arms. but the arms would only be hanging by skin (same graphic arm with the bone and the skin). while the arms are swinging around, baraka then swipes his blade across the stomach. we see guts about to pour out but baraka quickly stabs the stomach at an angle, going in from the bottom of the cut and ending at the back above the cut, so it wont spill out just quite yet (he would basically use the blade to keep the stomach from opening). then, while his opponent screams in pain, he takes his free blade and cuts from the neck. we see the scab from the cut (maybe make the skin and blood come out from where the blade finished the swipe) and blood starts pouring from the neck (not the huge leech like blood, liquid like blood). then baraka pulls the torso away causeing the skin holding the arms and head together to rip, making the head and arms fall. and, of course the bottom half drops too and the guts and shit like that from the torso start pouring out.
kobra- heart rip- the problem with this and all heart rips is there is no hole where they ripped the heart. they could do it by showing his hand go into the chest from behind the opponent. now shoot back to the front of the opponent where you have programmed the hole where kobra has slammed his fist in. and then have kobra pull the heart a little (hearing nasty, almost inaudible, snaps coming from inside the body while the opponent squirms and twitches with each one) and finally pulls the heart out, but only a little cause there is still one thing holding it in place . kobra then rips the heart all the way out (we see teh heart rip from thing holding it in there) and the opponent falls back with a huge hole in his chest. and maybe kobra can crush teh heart in his hand as a final move (or rip out a part of the rib cage to stab the heart with, or maybe to stab the opponent if they are still alive )

That's what makes this fatality so comical.
Scorpion just walks up to you and "SNAP!!!"...then Scorpion raises his fist in satisfaction. That's what makes it funny.
Scorpion is like going..."Yeah...I just snapped his neck. I'm bad...I'm bad."
That sort of thing.

I agree about Mileena's fatality. It was too damn short! I liked the way she ran at the opponent like a freakin' savage hyena and all. But her mouth did not open ONCE. If you can see, Baraka's mouth opens periodically during a match. I don't see why her mouth doesn't open. And the opponent just falls! I think it would be better if she kicks the opponent away with the head still in her mouth. Also, the damn head just floated there in her mouth! She actually needs to hold it in her jaws. I do love the way she spits out and tosses the head with her mouth though. And that seductive pose and evil laugh at the end! And the blood all over her face! *DROOL*
