Having trouble starting a match...
This for PS2

Create a room = your Online Name...
Set the Password = your Opponents Name

i.e.
Name = IONBLADE
Opponent = CYD

Room name = IONBLADE (Private room)
Password = CYD

Then just wait with the volume on, when you hear the "Thunder" Clap for a fight, you know your opponent has found you...

IonBlade created room called "IONBLADE" and just waited for who knows how long yesterday...

I already had him on my buddy list, but regardless I saw it right away and joined...

It asked for a password, so I put in "CYD" it let me in... (Lucky guess as he never told me what the password would be).

When I challenged him the "thunder" clap it makes let IonBlade know I was now in the room. Because it was a private room, no one would get in unless they had the password, so there would be no "false" alarms.

I have been on for 3 days... I said I was using morloch as my tournament name... I challenged you 5 times yesterday and you declined as well as pm'ed you i'm your tournament opponent!

Congratulations, and Welcome to Ladder Two of the Mortal Kombat Online MK:D Tournament!

Posted below is the LADDER TWO for PS2 and X-Box. As a reminder, it is YOUR responsibility to contact your opponent, and schedule a fight. Unfortunately, most people did not contain their Gamer Tags. Thus, you will need to make contact with your opponent, and exchange Gamer Tags.

You must complete your fight by 11:59GMT, Monday December 13 2004. This gives you THREE DAYS to complete your fight. It is then the WINNER'S responsibility to e-mail M4C@mortalkombatonline.com with the match results, as well as your MATCH NUMBER (note: Your e-mail MUST have a subject that reads "Tournament Results". If it does not, it will be deleted by my filter.) If you're opponent does not show, you win by default (and you must send an e-mail to report this victory). If no e-mail is received by 11:59GMT, Monday December 13 2004, the match will be considered disqualified. You may also send Mobster4Christ a private message via MKO's messaging system with the tournament results. Again, you must include the results (including your MKO User Name! Very Important!), as well as your match number.

After the second ladder is completed, the third ladder will be posted 24 hours later. The Tournament ends when all matches have been fought, and a clear winner is determined. The winner takes home the prizes, including an autographed copy of Mortal Kombat: Deception!

hey that's pretty interesting, CYD vs. doomsday, the two friends i've made so far in all this

I know, right? *lol*

All I know is that I'm going to be using a recorder to record the matches. if for whatever reason, the recorder gives me trouble, Im having my friend use a digital camera to take pictures of me fighting my opponents.

Everyone tells me that I am extremely cheap, and fucked up when I play this game. I dont want anyone to screw the tournament up for me by BSing that they won when they didnt.

Thats why im documenting everything. :) I have a feeling Im going to need to prove my victories.

Thank you SO MUCH for that link, just watching it taught me alot of things about CYD. I picked up on quite a few things.

And thankfully, the main character I use is absolutely perfect to take out Jade players.
