10-9 is more acceptable. Hence, it begs the question, why is 8-7 not allowed.

I believe it is because we've all agreed on numbers games that form a series. 7 or 10 is the number. If you play beyond 10, then it doesn't matter when you quit. 11-10, 14-13, it's still classed as a valid series. So I guess MKF could have just ride it out till 10 or just leave when it was 7 square.

It's just rules we made and whether or not everyone should honour them is another question.

Having said all that though, there are times that people have to leave the a match and because most of us are not sing mics, it's hard to get that message across.

An example of that...
I was playing CoolHandLuke20 about a week ago. I was getting pissed because I felt that player was counter picking and even sometimes matches were being given away. Only for me to plug in my mic and realized that CoolHandLuke20 was actually a cool lady with a very young baby she has to care for while playing MKA. My anger got fizzled almost instantaneously.

i think if a connection is that bad for someone, they should be able to quit at any point of the matches, this is mainly due to different programming for player 1 and player 2 online.

I think he quit because I was closing the gap on the score, and I figured out how he was playing, and he didnt want to lose to someone who is "below" him in this game. And if that was the case, I just laugh at that mentality.

MKF, I do see a lot of scores that are close to 10 with you that people have posted. Yet, I rarely see when they post scores that either end at 7 or end at 10. However, every single time we play you always always stay till 10. Is it because you beat me 10-2 most of the time? I'm just saying I see where a lot of people are coming from. @quest, yeah dude you know I don't mind playing to 10-15 but like I was telling Smoked out, if I leave or go offline immediately it's because I have to stop playing and let my father work...I really want my own PC because it's quite annoying at times. I have a modem, no routers or wireless.

I'm always online as you can see showing. Besides, I remember the days of MKD dude where at times nobody would be on and I'd join/invite you constantly and you wouldn't play me " every single time" because you'd want to play other people here and there or be in matches right? So it's not a big deal man, but chances are if you invite me and I'm in games in MKA I'm playing someone or if you say you invite me while I'm on another game, I don't like leaving my friends I'm currently playing with. Speaking of which though eazy, do you play any other games besides MKA? Halo 2, BO3, Baseball, sports games etc?

@Red, that's only some UMK3 players...there's a lot of UMK3 players that enjoy the DS and 360 versions online, only the 'offline players" aren't a big fan of it, but that's not all players. It still plays wayyyy better then MKA anyday....surely you'd agree to that at least.

I would love to play Eazy's challenge, but why should everyone be willing to play him full roaster to be deemed worthy? JESUS, do you guys know how long it takes to complete full roaster match? Therefore, the notion of someone not accepting the challenge and being seen as a coward is somewhat crazy to say to least. If there's time to play fine, but I doubt many would have the time to play such series.
