Anyone know if there's any speed/accelleration differences on anyone? Raiden seems to have a high top end for some reason, although it's more than likely that they're all even.
Power wise, it seems that Cage is about the weakest. His Green Fireball(goo-ball?!?) is difficult to connect with, and doesn't seem to have the tactical superiority of the Ground Pound, the Freeze Ball, or the shields.

everyone i would like it if a NTSC player could give an answe to the reptile rumor and the release date for england is the 27th so expect an update on the 28th ok
Im the one who witnessed Reptile first hand on the Lin Kuei track. Reptile was just walking across the road and I tried to swirve in and hit him but it was to late and I missed him. I haven't seen him since.
Since I posted this on the board someone claims they seen him in a demo. Can someone get us a picture.
Im going to keep playing Motor Kombat on the Lin Kuei Track and hope I see him again, I will be sure to hit him this time. I just dont know if it was random or if I did something that made him come out.
He was in his Ninja suit and in midget form like the rest of the Motor Kombat Kharacters.

i think they could of had so many more characters, like ermac, special rased them off the track for a few seconds so they couldnt move and people could go under them, kabal a speed boost spinning the enemy around, smoke gets invisibility , and striker gets drive by , machine guns fires out sides of the car, shinnok a hand grabs an opponent and shakes them, chameleon gets random specials , id probly think of more but most these ideas probably suck

the ideas are great but your expecting more then motor kombat was going to deliever EDIT: i heard somewhere that reptile was cut from the roster for motor kombat and running him over was the way to unlock himi think they could of had so many more characters, like ermac, special rased them off the track for a few seconds so they couldnt move and people could go under them, kabal a speed boost spinning the enemy around, smoke gets invisibility , and striker gets drive by , machine guns fires out sides of the car, shinnok a hand grabs an opponent and shakes them, chameleon gets random specials , id probly think of more but most these ideas probably suck

Mileena is a top tier racer, I play this game online competitively and this is a fact.
Why?Well, her special is a BOOST along with the regular boost that everyone uses in the race=dominant.
Not to mention she's overall a good character to use in Motor Kombat.
Jax is good also and same for Cyrax with the bombs, either of these nails a bunch of people when done correctly.Jax is great though when surrounded I must say, good tracking but not the fastest racer.
Cyrax is good with the bombs when a bunch of people are behind you, since you can't shoot them forward only backwards and no net it takes something away from him, but when used right he's a competitive racer. The bombs can get annoying.
Raiden is pretty good, but not the best in Motor Kombat. His electric move hits all around him, but doesn't slow you down nearly enough as others. As a racer he's good, but not the best.
Kitana is good if you know how to use her, she's not the fastest but her move is good as it protects her and hurts you temporarily. Her speed leaves something to be desired if you ask me.
Cage sucks flat out lol, his car is a good racing car but his special sucks and you have to really be close to hit.
Subby and Scorpion are even IMO, they're both good.Sub's freeze is annoying and effective when hit, Scorpions pull back spear can also make or break a race. Both have good speed.
Baraka is alright, not that good, not that bad.His sparks shoot one back, one forward.Unless you're relatively close it's not the best special.I wouldn't pick him to try to win with personally.Average speed.
Bo Rai Cho is very good IF you know how and when to use his special move, the puke move has a pretty good amount of oil spill effect to it, it's best to use it when someone is gaining near you but not when someone is a little behind you, they slip and it slows you down drastically and can make or break a race. Also for his size and the character and all, he's pretty good surprisingly as a racer. He's one of the best IF you know how to use him.

there is depth to motor kombat no doubt
i hate those who dismiss it as boring straight away there is skill and tactic needed

ok I have no idea if this has been brought up before or not but I bought the guide (which has tons of errors and missing info) and there's a pic of sektors car in the motor kombat section. I thought this was just another error till I found the same pic in the krypt. In the description it talks about the car but nowhere does it say sektor is not an actual character to play as in motor kombat.
I'm really hoping he's unlockable through the ? box or something.
A heat seekeing missle would be perfect for him. :D

Sektor and Reptile would both be awesome to have.
I'll try to do some experements with the speed/acceleration comparisons sometime here, I think there are differences, but they're not much.

I'm good with Baraka.I like his double spark move.Shoot forward and back.
lulz
Cyrax's bomb is not a long distance, high trajectory, or quickly moving projectile, it just slowly bounces out a few feet, so if for whatever ridiculous reason you could actually "fire" it "foward", all you'd achieve is driving into the bomb you just laid in front of you and getting blown to smithereens by it. Hay great idea guyz. Anybody know how to do Mileena's boost special in reverse while we're at it?
Edit: Btw, Mileena's boost special isn't that great, it's obviously not even half as powerful as a regular boost, and once you've passed somebody they're still pretty much right behind you waiting to pass you on the next corner, so for that reason the only real situation it's useful is if you're on the home straight approaching the finish line, otherwise you're just going to risk getting passed again in 10 seconds and you just wasted your special for nothing. On top of that, because it's so weak, to get any use out of it you have to trigger it so closely behind a rival in order to make any real ground ahead of them, that you might as well just be using Sub Zero's freeze or whatever. I pretty much much only use Jax online and I played quite a lengthy series of races the other day against a reasonably good Sub Zero and a reasonably good Mileena, and Mileena wasn't dominating anything. It was more 40% me, 40% Sub Zero, and 20% Mileena. The same thing happened in all the other races that I was in where I was competing with a Mileena. If that special of hers was as grand as people say it is Mileena players would be winning every race every time, not getting beaten with regularity by Jax, Scorpion, Cage, etc. The proof is in the pudding, as they say.
