"We were too late. The Deadly Alliance had finished reviving the Dragon King's unbeatable army, forcing myself and my allies from Earth to storm Shang Tsung's palace ourselves. Going in, I had a bad feeling about the battle. We were left with no time to form a proper strategy and it was only the six of us against the two sorcerers and their army. Although I hadn't completed my training with Master Bo' Rai Cho, I would be the one to face Quan Chi.
"Looking back, I realize I wasn't ready to face him. The war against Shao Kahn's forces...the deaths of Goro and Liu......there was too much on my mind. I fought hard, but Quan Chi exploited my weaknessess and his power proved too much. I still remember his hand at my throat...crushing my neck in his grip. My body, along with those of my allies, was left lying about the entrance of Shang Tsung's palace while Raiden challenged the Deadly Alliance himself. We failed.
"But in a bizarre twist of fate, we would be resurrected by the Dragon King himself, Onaga. Unfortunately, each of our minds would be twisted into being his loyal slaves. He would use us in his invasion of my home realm of Edenia and I specifically was used to imprison my own mother. Only by mere miracle we were freed. Somehow, the bond between Liu and I was able to keep his soul present in the mortal realms rather than passing on. With the help of...Ermac, of all people...he was able to free us from the Dragon King's hold.
"I suppose I should be grateful...but the victory over Onaga brings me little comfort. It was up to me to defeat Quan Chi and I failed. Edenia was put in danger because of my weakness. Ermac alone was able to fight off both myself and four of Earth's strongest warriors. Perhaps the burden of protecting Edenia is becoming too much for me? It seems for every foe overcome, another appears. For every battle won...only more await. I want so much for Edenia to exist in peace without fear of evil.....I'm no longer certain how much more chaos I can bear.
"While in Outworld, I encountered the elemental called Blaze. He bade me warning of a great battle soon coming. Telling me to gather my armies and unite to Forces of Light for the approaching war. Another war. Another threat. More fighting. Will it ever end? But when I reunited with my mother, she seemed to know of what Blaze was speaking of. She told me of an ancient Edenian legend that spoke of the two sons of Edenia's god, Argus. It was said there would come a time when that chaos would threaten to engulf the realms and at that time, the two sons would awaken to decide the fate of Armageddon itself.
"While I was on Earth, I passed the achoring of Liu's soul to Nightwolf. I hope his magic can somehow reunite Liu's soul with his body...which, to my disgust, has somehow been revived as a mindless monster. If this legend mother speaks of is true, then the one who defeats Blaze atop Argus' Pyramid will be granted god-like power. She has faith in this legend...but personally, I'm uncertain if I trust the fate of Edenia in the hands of these two sons I know nothing about. Although I am tired of battle, I will be there to fight this war. If nothing else, to ensure this 'prize' doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
"And there is one last battle that I must fight myself...
"Although my time as Onaga's slave was brief...I am still haunted by it. Innocent blood was spilled by my hands. I lashed out at my own best friend Jade as though she were a hated enemy. I could've killed my own mother. The ordeal was a grim reminder of the many years I spent loyally serving my step-father Shao Kahn. Since I turned against him, I've tried to redeem and change myself from what I was. But my time as Onaga's slave has only confirmed what I've long dreaded...that deep down inside there is still a part of me that is and always will be a cold-blooded killer. I have Shao Kahn to thank for that.
"Somehow Kahn still lives and worse yet, has regained control of Outworld. I've learned he will fight in the Armageddon personally...no doubt hoping to claim Blaze's prize for himself. I won't let that happen. I've long hoped for the day when I could finally confront Shao Kahn and make him answer for his crimes. For everything he's done to me, my family, and my home. I will meet my step-father on the battlefield and at long last end his evil once and for all. To ensure he will never threaten Edenia or any other realm again. To finally free the counltess souls trapped within him...including my true father.
"I must not fail again as I did against Quan Chi. I must stand firm for just a bit longer. This may finally be the end of the chaos. A chance to finally ensure peace throughout the realms. I've come too far to fail now."

I am a Disgrace. I allowed myself to be defeated in Kombat by my older Brother, Noob Saibot, and my former Ally, Smoke. How my brother twisted my old friend into that Monstrosity I may never know. What I do know is I owe my life to Sareena. Why she decided to help me I'll never know. She disappeared before I could ask. I only hope she is Alright.
I returned to the Lin Kuei to find my Disciple, Frost, killing several of our Brethren. It seems I have failed to turn her away from her foolish ambitions and her seemingly never-ending quest for my Dragon medallion and trhe Leadership of the Lin Kuei. I approached her cautiously, but was soon spotted and kombat ensued again. After Besting her, I froze her body and placed her in the shrine to our ancestors, the Cryomancers.
Afterwards, I summoned one of my lieutenants and asked if an acquaintance of my brother's, Sareena, had arrived. When i was informed that she had not, I began to worry even more. When last we met in Outworld, I had given her a replica of my Dragon medallion as a sign to the Guards that she was to be sheltered within.
With Sareena and the replica Dragon Medallion seemingly Missing, I started my search for them. how Fortunate it was for me that I happened upon Johnny Cage in my Searchings. He told me of Shinnok's plan and that he was gathering all of Earthrealm's forces for the coming battle. I hastily accepted his offer as I saw any chance to protect Earthrealm as another opportunity to purge myself of the shame I suffered against my brother and find Sareena and recover that replica before it's power is misused for the wrong purposes.
Author's note: It's been edited to reconcile for some inconsistencies that were brought to my attention and as for one other point: I strongly believe that he gave Sareena at least some form of the Dragon Medallion as IMHO, it's the only logical item he could've given her

Little things about that bio:
- Sareena didn't lose control of her human form until AFTER the fight with Noob Saibot and Smoke.
- I kind of doubt the Dragon Medallion was the object Sub-Zero gave to Sareena....it being a source of power for him. Not to mention, as we saw with Frost, if the person holding it can't control it's power, it could kill them.

Interesting reads, a few things I might disagree with but cool stuff none the less and I enjoy reading different views on the same characters.
Personally, I think Sub-Zero should become an Ice God hehe, I'm getting some ideas but there's a few ways you could go with him.

The Red Dragon Clan had, through one of their warriors, obtained a scale from the Dragon King's Bicep. Under the orders of their Gandmaster, the morsel was taken to the Red Dragon' s lair where it was combined with the tattered remains of Daegon's dragon; Caro. A clone was created from this material and my soul infused with the vessel.
At first, I was grateful towards my captors for reincarnating me. But soon their true intentions arose, they wished to use my DNA and fuse it with Human DNA to create hybrid warriors. Then, they wanted me to teach these abominations Saurian stealth techniques. They promised me they would rebuild the Saurian race stronger, but what they were planning to construct was no Saurian race. They were merely Hybrid Red Dragon drones, serving only the will of their Grandmaster.
I resisted my captors, but they held me here, in the pits of this sinister lair. Their false promises made me long for my race again, to be whole again. As soon as I get out of here, I will find myself a new master. One who is capable of resurrecting the Saurian. I have heard talk of a firespawn, Blaze, who may prove to be a worthy leader.

We finally had been freed from Onaga's dark spell thanks to our long time friend and ally Liu Kang and the several souls fusion ninja Ermac. This allowed us to help Shujinko in his battle with the Dragon King. After the realms were saved, I returned to Earth with Sonya only to discover an invasion from inside our realm: It's the Tekunin ninja clan lead by Sektor. The Special forces learnt us Sektor and his clan were in the Botan Jungle and they next attacked the warship. From that moment, I decided we'd better work separately to vanquish this danger faster. While the warship was brought down, I went in the jungle to look for survivors but Sektor defeated and captured me. Several days later, I awoke in a strange place but my cybernetic bio sensors allowed me to send Sonya a message. I have the mysterious feeling my body his changing. I have to find a way to defeat them and return to the special forces to discover what's happening to me. Then, I'll be able to shut them down.

A small comment:
After Besting her, I froze her body and placed her in the shrine to our ancestors, the Cryomancers.
The place where Sub-Zero buried Frost is actually the Chamber of Fallen Lin Kuei. I don't think it has to do with the Cryomancers.
My turn then:
Baraka
I and my brethen joined the seemingly invincible Dragon King and led our forces to distract the joint Edenian armies from our master's true objective. But then, suddenly the armies of Edenia gained renewed vigor, and my Tarkatan hordes were wiped out after a drawn-out battle. I myself found overwhelmed by their fat commander, and forced to retreat. Mileena must have given them some sort of powerful magic, there was no other explanation to this.
When word of her came requesting a meeting, I knew something was wrong. I sent another Tarkata in my behalf. He never reported back, and it became obvious...the bastard has betrayed me! But I got little time to make her pay, as my master was assaulted by a force of warriors. But, like others before him, he was hopelessly defeated. Using the chaos following Onaga's demise, I avoided my enemies and secured my escape.
This is enough! Throughout the ages I've been under the services of many masters. I and my own served them under promises of power. But all have failed miserably. Even Onaga, who boosted a power greater than any of our past masters, was defeated at the end. I am tired of playing the servant for nothing...now I'll become the master! I'll lead my Tarkatan into an age of slaughter!
But when I heard that Shao Kahn has returned from beneath the grave, I knew it would be a difficult obstacle in my plans. I realized that, to fulfill my objectives, I'd need more power. A power surpassing even that of Shao Kahn...no, even the one Onaga possessed! I must be able to obliterate anyone that steps in my path effortlessly. But I knew of no such power, and my research soon reached a dead end. And that's when a former master approached me once again. The pale figure of Quan Chi disgusted me, but I refrained my instincts for a while.
Surprisingly, Quan Chi did not came to request my servitude as before. Rather, he heard of my recent exploits and offered me a helping hand. He spoke of an incredible power to be granted in Edenia to the winner of a great confrontation. Many past foes were to gather there, to claim the power for themselves. What a wondrous opportunity! Without a moment's waste, I set sights into the realm of Edenia. Soon all the realms will know me as King Baraka!!
Hope's good. I'll have Kintaro in no time, and Shao Kahn last, hopefully this same day. Any comment is well-received.

Kintaro
I fought with all my might to avenge Goro's death, but at the end it was not enough. Not even all my raw power could handle the Shaolin Monk Liu Kang. I failed my emperor, and for this my rank was stripped and my kin severely punished. But the worst came later, when the Emperor favoured our ancient rivals, the Centaurians, to lead his invasion on Earthrealm. I could not bear the incriminating eyes of my people, and I was forced to laid low, awaiting a chance to redeem myself to my people and my Emperor. And when the invasion on Earthrealm failed and the forces retreated back, I saw my chance.
As impossible as it sounded, the same mortal has bested Shao Kahn in combat. Even if he did win the tournament held before, I later discovered it was merely a ploy of the Emperor to obtain a safe way into Earthrealm. The one Emperor Liu Kang destroyed was merely a fragment of the Emperor's power, a clone of sorts as I understood. The weakened Emperor also discovered that Edenia was unshackled from Outworld and restored its independency. It was unaceptable for him, so after gathering his surviving troops and generals, he organized an attack force.
I pledged upon the Emperor a second chance in this new quest. Willing to accept all the help possible, Shao Kahn allowed me a second chance. This time, I put my very soul and strength into it, as I couldn't accept a second disgrace. Unstoppable by the Edenian soldiers, I easily secured a way into the realm for Reiko's troops to attack. However, Queen Sindel's tactics proved useful, as she was able to draw the battle to a standstill.
However, I soon heard about the Shokan rebellion and Goro's return. I confronted Goro for this act, trying to make him realize he was condemning our species to face Shao Kahn's wrath. Like other species before, we'd be extincts for this treason. But Goro was determined to confront Shao Kahn's rule. Combat soon ensued between both of us, but I could not best the Shokan Prince and former Mortal Kombat Champion. Rather than killing me, he exiled me from Kuatan.
I spent my time in the wastelands, meditating over my situation. After a long time of thought, I emerged with new determination. I once fought for the respect of my people; but now I see it was never meant to be. From now on, I'll fight for my own interest. And soon I discovered where to start: Shao Kahn has returned to power, and with none other than Goro at his side. How they returned is of no importance, but Goro must be up to something. During my time at the wastelands, I've sharpened my skills and senses; I'm now sure I can take on the Shokan Prince. And with this great deed, the Emperor shall recognize my might once again.
Ready for all to see. Hope its of ya liking. :) Shao Kahn's one is almost ready, so soon we can move forward.

You might want to go back and re-read the very first post of this thread, man. This is for all the characters who don't already have a bio made for them in order of their first playable appearance. right now, we're in the middle of MK2 (everyone's taken already but you can look forward to MK3). And as a response to your actual comment, Midway already made Raiden's bio.

I'm going to finish up Lao's bio by monday.
After that, I'm afraid I won't be doing any MK3 bios as I have some other stuff I'm invloved with.

Sorry Genku, is Kabal or Kira taken?
Mk3 hasn't been posted yet, not until MK2 finishes up first. Again, as a reiteration as I hope everyone has read the first page, The cast of the next game will Only be posted once the last bio of the current game is posted. In my opinion, this ensures continuity and organization.

Okay... Tell me if Kabal doesn't have a bio when MK3 is ready.

Kung Lao
With my former allies, Raiden and Liu Kang, reeking havoc I joined the Wind god Fujin in the hopes stopping their rampage. I informed the Wind God of a gathering of the forces of light called by Johnny Cage. Our plan is to do battle with Shinnok's Forces of Evil under Agus's pyramid. But when the subject of Daegon and Taven came about, Fujin left abruptly on a vital mission.
We prepare to face the forces of Darkness; this will include Raiden and Liu Kang. Somehow, I can feel Kang's spirit flow through me when I meditate. He gives me strength; I will need all I can get. That is why I pray that Whatever Fujin's mission is; he will succeed and return to aid us in the battle of Armageddon. Armageddon; that is what this crisis has been dubbed, the wrong victor over Blaze could mean the end of the Realms.
My main goal is to stop the Forces of Evil, but I will be looking for Raiden and his pawn, the vessel of Liu Kang. I hope to bring them down first. I'm unsure I can take on Raiden though, that's why I want Fujin to be there to aid me; since he is an Elemental himself. I'm still unsure of who is supposed to defeat Blaze, I suspect Fujin's mission is involved with that somehow.
Submitted for your approval. feedback, please.

With all due respect man, I want the whole thing re-written without ANY mention of Daegon or Taven. as I told Jago in a PM(he's offered to render his services for the MK3 bios and beyond when those come up) that I want these to have little connection to those two as much as possible. if you absolutely have to keep them in, at least try not to use their names. Kung Lao's not gonna know them by name. Or at least make it seem Fujin is informing him about them. Speaking of Kung Lao, Where's the part about his being freed from onaga's control?!?! How was he affected?? there are some really important questions that I and many others, I assume, would like answered. This is what I originally had in mind for the bios, to Answer the questions and fill in the voids made by differences between each character's last appearance and now. I'd appreciate it if you guys, in the future, took the time to consider that. I respect what you guys are doing but there IS an ulterior motive behind this and I'd like that followed through as well.

Just have someone else do Kung Lao. I'm far to busy to rewrite that. I barely had enough time to write it the first time, that's why it turned out so shitty.
For now, I won't be doing any more bios.

I'm not holding it against you or anything man, that's just my opinion. But I hope you will return to help us out in the future, man

I'm not mad that you didn't like it, I knew it was shit when I posted it. But I posted it anyway, because I said I would.
I'm just involved in a Black Dragon Clan Project for now, it's taking up all my free time between work and school.

Shao Kahn
It has been a wise choice to have created that doppelganger of me. Believed death, it was easier to travel through the realm as I recovered my lost strength. During my quest, I even recovered the loyalty of Goro and the Shokans, a force that will serve me against the new regent of Outworld. My ancient master and greatest foe, the Dragon King...Onaga. I'm aware of his strength, I couldn't be careless if I were to recover my realm. So, Goro and I remained hidden in the shadows, awaiting the right time to strike him down.
Fortunately by me, I was not even needed to take actions. An old man named Shujinko gathered the forces of light and raided Onaga's temple, seemingly finishing him for good. But still, there was one more obstacle
to reclaim Outworld as mine: my treacherous daughter, Kitana. She has took hold of my fortress castle and assumed control herself. That will not last long!
Even with Goro and his Shokan at my side, I considered wiser to seek further servants. Realizing Shang Tsung was killed, I forced his soul back to me by means of his pledge. If he has forgotten it, it's better for him to remember the price of betraying me. After Shang Tsung recovered his strength, we marched straight towards my former fortress. No Edenian was able to resist our might, and we effortlessly moved through their ranks and into my own throne room. Great was my surprise when I found it was not Kitana sitting there, but her deranged clone Mileena instead, which inmediately surrendered to me. It happened little time until I received an unexpected visitor. One Shang Tsung seemed to know well...
Quan Chi approached me in behalf of Shinnok, ruler of the Netherrealm, offering us an alliance. He told us about a gathering of the Forces of Light in Edenia to claim an inmense power. Should they obtained it, the dark forces would be wiped out certainly. Quan Chi suggested to join together the Forces of Darkness, and under our leadership claim that power for our means. He also suggested the need of bringing back Onaga as well, as his raw strength would be a valuable asset to our side. He said his master would take care of his ressurection, and that we should provide him with the right alicient: the earth warrior that foiled his ambition, Shujinko. While I despised the idea of bringing back my hated rival, I ended agreeing to it.
Once Quan Chi left, Shang Tsung showed reservations as of this alliance, but I silenced him. I hastily ordered him to find those still loyal to me, including general Reiko, and to prepare them to wipe out the remaining Edenian troops off my realm with the help of the Shokan. I've also ordered Mileena to setup the old man at once. With this last act, Outworld would readily greet his Emperor again.
Once alone in my throne room, I thought to myself. It was obvious Quan Chi did not reveal his whole schemes, but I am aware of what he seeks. During my take of Edenia, I read the legends in ancient texts depicting this event. The great power that lay in an Edenian crater, a power whose essence came from the gods themselves. Quan Chi, or possibly Shinnok himself, are probably wishing to use me and other dark warriors as a way to grant them access to that power. But I'll have the last laugh. I've sought to recover my power ever since my defeat in Earthrealm, but now I can see a chance to grow even greater in strength. And then, all the realms will be mine to rule!
Sorry the delay, but that's the last one (I think). Feedback will be welcome.
Thanks for reading, later.
