Ok so... moving on after a rather unnecessary lengthy delay...

and Wow.. A LOT of MK3 characters need a bio so there's PLENTY of opportunity for some of you talented writers to step up and share your stuff

Here's the List:

Cyrax(Taken by Jago)
Sektor(Taken by Jago)
Smoke(taken by The_Blind_Kenshi)
Sindel(Taken by mistress_kizuna)
Jade
Stryker(taken by Me)
Ermac(taken by The_Blind_Kenshi)
Kabal(Taken By Jago)
Sheeva(Taken By Jago)
Motaro(taken by The_Blind_Kenshi)
CHameleon(taken by The_Blind_Kenshi)

Edit: Note: After these are done I'm making an immediate change: from MK4 on, writers will be limited to 1-2 Bios only, depending on the game and how many characters need one still. This leads to more opportunity for others to get involved who otherwise feel left out.

I assure you none of that is going to happen here. At best someone will post a poorly punctuated paragraph-bio. As to an earlier reply, The bios are first-come, first-serve. I don't reserve bios under any circumstance. it is YOUR responsibility to make sure you claim the bios you wish to write as soon as they come out. That being said I look forward to readond some of the upcoming bios as i'm sure some of you are looking forward to my reindition of Stryker's.

I was hoping to do Stryker, but that's okay.

I want to do Sindel's bio. She sounds like a cool one to do.

Here's my bio for Sindel...

It seemed hopeless at first. The Deadly Alliance of the evil sorcerers, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi had defeated Earth's warriors, along with my own daughter Kitana. The Earthrealmer, Shujinko had been deceived by the legendary Dragon King, Onaga, into gathering the legendary Kamidogu pieces and Onaga was going to use that power to conquer the realms. Moreover, Onaga had resurrected the fallen warriors and used my daughter to attack and imprison me as he invaded Edenia. It was an effective plan - even if it meant my freedom, I could not attack Kitana. Thankfully, Jade saved me, and we were determined to find a way to free Kitana from the Dragon King's influence.

We couldn't find a way, but when all seemed lost, the spirit of the Earthrealm Champion, Liu Kang, was still in the realm of the living and he, along with the red ninja, Ermac, of all people, succeeded in freeing Kitana and our Earthrealm allies. We met with Shujinko, who was determined to defeat Onaga. With our help, he absrobed our fighting powers and beat the Dragon King. With Shao Kahn, the Deadly Alliance and Onaga gone, I finally thought the realms were safe.

But this was only the prelude to an even bigger conflict.

After we returned to Edenia, Kitana told me that she encountered a being made of fire named Blaze. He told her that there was another battle coming, one that was threatening the very fabric of reality. She was frustrated, as I could tell. I knew why - with every victory we've acheived, it has only led more fighting and more enemies. It almost felt hopeless. But I couldn't help but feel that the battle she was decribing was familiar.

After a search through the archives, I found my answer - many eons ago, the Elder Gods foresaw that the constant battles of Mortal Kombat would one day lead to the destruction of the realms. They had the Edenian god Argus and his wife, the sorceress Delia, construct a safeguard (the fire elemental Blaze) and their sons were to be the ones to complete this quest by defeating Blaze. Whichever brother completed the quest would determine the outcome of the fighters involved - which was either death or complete stripping of their powers. Whoever defeated Blaze would be given god-like powers.

This wasn't the only shocking news I've received. Word has come out that Shao Kahn is, in fact, still alive, as are Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Onaga, and the Fallen Elder God Shinnok. There is no doubt in my mind that they want to stop this quest and claim Blaze's power for themselves for their own destructive purposes.

I cannot and will not let that happen. I've dreamt of the day when I could have my revenge on Kahn for everything he had done to me, my homeland, my people, and my daughter. I will attend this battle alongside the warriors of light; the least I can hope to do is ensure that the forces of evil don't claim this prize for themselves. I pray that this battle will be the end of the constant war and chaos. Hopefully then, Edenia and the rest of the realms will have the peace they deserve from tyrants like Kahn and Onaga.
===================================

Hope that didn't suck.

On the contrary, it was really good. Good take on Sindel. Now, I hope mine is good as well. Here's my take on Smoke:

Smoke
I followed my master's directives as programmed. Noob Saibot has great plans for me, using my nanotechnology to turn the denizens of the Netherrealm into loyal cyber-demons, and open his way to rule the whole realm. My program didn't allowed me to disobey any of his command, I did many tasks under his name, some more terrible than others. In the end, I was only a tool of my master, bonded by his words...

The moment we entered the hellish planes of the Netherrealm, my systems started to show anomalies. Eventually, it was more than they could handle and my program started to malfunction, sending me to an almost complete shutdown. I merely stood there struggling, as Saibot confronted a familiar person, a hidden away remain of my former life within my memory banks.

My consciousness, a long though dream inside my systems, resurfaced with this new external influence. My former self, that of a Lin Kuei warrior known as Smoke, stood in front of me. Vague memories of my obscured past forced their way into my programation, struggling to erase Noob Saibot's program, attempting to restore my soul's freedom completely. However, the influence of the Netherrealm affected my nanotech system as well, and it went haywire. It started reforming my metalic body into something else, neither cyborg nor human. My body adopted the glossy appearance of the smoke my body emitted ever since I was born. I became the mirror of the creatures Noob Saibot envisioned: a true cyber-demon.

For a moment, it seemed as my soul was about to be restored. I could feel as my free will was unleashed from the chains of my program. Even I remembered the name of my friend, who now battled against Noob amongst the fiery pits, Sub-Zero...but at the end, the influence of the Netherrealm reinforced Saibot's program enough to fight back. At the end, the systems adapted to the new essence and stabilized again, plunging my soul back into the recesses of my program. Still a loyal servant, I fought against Sub-Zero as well, but soon the interference of a netherrealm demon forced us to flee.

It wasn't long after our retreat when Noob Saibot made a deal with a pale necromancer he seemed to know well. Receiving the location of the Lin Kuei headquarters, he was decided to make them his new devilish force. As I followed him, I received the order to return to him if the situation was against me. He was sure I'd be more than enough to handle most Lin Kuei members, but he was adamant to see me damaged or lost. It was not preocupation for my wellbeing; in his eyes, I'm a vital tool on his plans.

My programation still rules my will, but I feel it different from before. As if, even if slightly, something has been released during the struggle. The words of Noob Saibot had not the same impact as before, despite I still follow them. Something has changed besides my appearance...could it be my former self once again?

Ermac's bond to be next. Stay tuned. :)
