Could very well be that he isn't in the game. I for one hope he isn't. He needs to sit this one out until the MK team gives him a decent story, moves, and looks. Just my opinion though.

yeah, chicks are hard to get I knew I got them mixed up.

The important thing is that the characters listed in it, are the real ones in the select screen.

I truly hope they don't do that. It would make no sence to make him super-unlockable. I'd be pretty pissed to go through all the work of Konquest, and get...Jax. *shudders* Hopefully he's not in the game at all. [Shaokahn] awesome sig btw. Gave me a good laugh. Very creative.

Thanx alot malebolgia I was trying to come up with something a lil diff to chuckle at...but yes let's please not have Jax as a super unlockable.If they are gonna stick him in there,then he should just be a norm character imo.

I am also thinking the Jax "confirmation" was BS. If he was anywhere at that presentation I'd think MKO would be all over it.

whats that on Li Mei's head.. why does it look alot like shao kahn's helment? i dont see li mei personally?.. not saying by any means kahn is on the select screen.. lmfao

That's li Mei. She's just in her default outfit which has horns on the helmet. Shouldn't Noob Smoke be switched to Noob/Smoke? And as for Jax, did anybody see that blue selection screen, one has Raiden highlighted, and the other...I have no idea. But towards the top of the screen, you see a guy wearing a barret and sunglasses, guess who it is.

Well actually Jax was in Konquest and he challenges Shujinko if I remember correctly. It didn't show the fight or anything just that Jax looked like he was about to punch Shujinko out. *Edit* I'll look at the video again, I know I saw it somewhere. Maybe it was the Gamespot video?

Are you talking about the E3 select screen? Because I know some people thought that Jax was on that select screen.

I think that Jax needs to sit out a game. Make the fans actually want him back. He was awesome in MK2, what with the back-breaker, the gotcha grab, the quad slam, the arm rip fatality etc etc. But both his moves and his storyline have been stale for a while now.

There's no way the MK team makes Jax a super secret character. My predictions for the super secret characters: Liu Kang and Shao Khan. Yeah, the former is more likely than that latter, but there is that Gamepro picture with Tanya and some other guy, and some people seem to think that the guy on the ground is Khan. Now I doubt it, but ya never know. I mean, hell, Liu Kang is back after all, and Shang Tsung snapped his freakin neck. All we saw of Khan was a bloody helmet. So who knows. I just think that if you're going to have super secret characters, they should actually be big deal characters. Jax no longer has that status, if he ever did to begin with.

Yeah, on MKOnline's Gamer's Day Presentation video exactly at 5:23 Jax is standing face to face to Shujinko and the box says the following...

"The only thing standing between you and the White Lotus Society....is Jax! Will you challenge him?"

Liu Kang IS on the select screen... All characters from the source code are main characters, or simple unlockables (except Onaga, of course)... If jax is in the game, he will be a super unlockable...

Jax being a super unlockable would defeat the purpose of the term "Super Unlockable"...A super unlockable character should be someone that is WORTH the time, to unlock.


Jax isn't worth any time, for anyone.


This is probably one of the few characters I just hate, because his storyline rarely evolves, and when it does, it's just really really boring.
