Recently in an article that a member here partook in (DrDogg) we are to learn that our Torrent of Hidden characters, are the 12 we have to unlock through Konquest Mode. There are no other characters besides the 24 listed. He goes on further to state that Midway confirms that there are only 24. Although on the bonus content it lists 25 bios, but from what we've seen the following characters appear on that bio disk:
Kitana, Sonya, Jax, Goro, Etc...

Now, this does not mean they are in the game. We've also had characters confirmed to be in the game, but been lied to by sources who were supposedly reliable. The Following characters were said to be confirmed, but probably lied.
Quan Chi, Reptile, Sektor, Jax

Now, that the 24 Initial characters are all known, there are no real secrets known to us, is there now?

I strongly believe there are more than the 24 confirmed fighters.

Im sorry but the above didn;t make too much sense.
If there is an Official Midway Article, then please provide a link.
If this is purely your speculation, please say so.

Look in Dr. Dogg's topic, should be somewhere. But yeah, I don't think we'll unlock any more through Konquest but perhaps there are other means to getting them, maybe by beating Konquest twice or beating the arcade mode with every character etc, etc.

This is not my speculation. Please refer to DrDogg's Topic "My hands on Konquest" or whatever.
24's probably all we're getting.

I don't think that's the case. Refer to DrDogg's topic. It's somewhere on the first page.
24 is the confirmed amount. There were no secret characters.

Wasn't it stated awhile back that Midway was not even going to allow the strategy guides to publish some of the secrets in order to keep the game more of a mystery this time around.
If this is indeed the case, I would not be suprised if Midway is keeping a few things secret, even if they have confirmed only 24(whether in a response to an email or an official statement).
We did have 2 xtras in DA that were not on the select screen, and the select screen this time around clearly shows 24 spaces. So, I imagine there will be more than the screen is showing(how many?? no clue).
On the other hand, I'm gonna believe in the 24-ONLY theory as of now because I don't want to be disappointed by expecting more.

A MK game without secret characters isn't a MK Game... and according his post, only 12 fighters in Puzzle Kombat... but we are see more than 12 fighters in Puzzle Kombat... and DrDogg said "As far as I'm concerned there are only 24 playable characters, but if I'm wrong, I'm wrong" and ". I'm also not releasing any information that I wouldn't put in an article. It's just that you can't get too specific in a standard issue article."
Really think that it will be so easy to find out who are the secret fighters of the game and unlock them? Don't make me laugh grin

Here we are on the believe who says what wagon(again).I'm not believeing anything Until i see for myself or Boon says otherwise. Not that Boon is always a truthful kinda guy,but there's no reason for him to say there is(recent interview),going back through konquest after you have beaten it once and getting the hiddens.A post on Midway said this and that isn't proof to me.
How many times have we seen that kind of stuff here?

I think there are super unlockables, because boon is showing a lot of things to us, like fatalities etc. there must be some sort of secret things behind this

I have to agree with Cervantes above i really think there are 32 characters in total alot of people are thinking there are 30 and some people dont think there will be super unlockables but 32 is just an odd number and alot of video games have 32 characters in it and not just guessing i thought i heard a few months back there would be 32 characters.

I believed that DrDogg was probably right about there being no extra characters until I watched this video again.

Also come on don't you think midway is trying to keep some stuff secret?
