Things to FIX for Mortal Kombat Armageddon!

1. When I side step to dodge, it will dodge any move...except special moves
that are special because they can't be dodged.
2. I want the ability to block high, mid, and low attacks by crouching! Gameplay
gets to cheap otherwise. Same goes for throws.
3. Balance, Balance Balance. Kira's 8-hit combo should take off a bit more than
9% of damage, don't ya think?
There are other things I'm sure you'd like to change or fix?

1) All attacks should be able to be sidestepped. That includes special moves, however that would depend on the type of special move it is. MKD rendered that useless thanks to he inclusion of auto tracking. I agree with his one, minus the special move part.
2) You can avoid high attacks and throw by blocking low or crouching. You also block low attacks. Only mids hit you then. Mids are blocked high. Having everything blocked low creates an imbalace and all you would need to do would be to hit the enemy and then spend the rest of the match crouched blocked. So this is a stupid idea and will never happen.
3) If you're doing an 8 hit combo with Kira and your only doing 9% damage, then you're obvious doign something wrong or glitching somewhere which would cause the reduced damage.

The mid attacks still hit you. Very annoying.
There should only be high and low attacks...thing is, with many attacks, it's impossilble to tell where it's coming from.. but if you can crouch and block to avoid high and low, then that will force the agressor to back off momentarily since the defender can not defend himself or get hit at the time...just like the old MK games.
and the Kira combo I'm referring too is whenever I use her stun move...it decreases all the combo damage by more than half.

I don't like crouch blocking, I'd prefer it if when you pressed block first and then down, it simply did a low block from a standing position. It would help with the fluidity, because it looks stupid when characters are crouching to block low attacks. It's like that in Tekken, too.
Soul Calibur allows you to block low from a standing position, though you can crouch if you want. This doesn't change the gameplay much, it just looks loads better and adds a touch of movie style fluidity to the blocking rythyms.

I can agree with balancing the damage a little better. There are 4 hit combo's that do more damage than 7 hit combo's.
Other than that I would like to see an option to set the damage rate itself. I personally like longer battles, so it would be nice to increase the size of the life bar and decrease the amount of damage.

They really need to fix the Arcade mode. It was horrible in deception. You get to battle the same opponents all the time in the same stages once you've unlocked everything. And the Red Dragon Temple, Pit1 dissapear as well. furious

Id like for their to be a revamped arcade mode. What I mean is if your on the good side you only fight evil, and vice-versa. The end boss should be determined by which character you choose, and they should bring back kredits to put some prseeure on you. No more infinite lives. Id like there to be some pressure on me. There should be choose your destiny as well, like which one you chose changes difficulty and the number of opponents.

One of the reasons why I've liked the Mortal Kombat series is that it was simple enough for anyone to play...but a good player would always beat a bad one. always. ...until now. ...
I know all the moves and combos, i know how to block. but put me in the ring with someone that simply knows how to attack with low attacks that are just too quick to press both block and down....I'll lose every time if the person I'm playing wants to be cheap. It's not fun to lose that way and I personally don't find it fun to win that way either. it's far too easy and not fun.
I want to dodge and parry....I want to anticipate what my opponent will do but I need more reaction time.
Ed Boon and team...PLEASE fix this!

Only high and low attacks?? Noooo....that would just make things worse. There should be low blocking from a standing position as some suggested already in this thread. Also, what they need to do is fix the animation speeds in a way that they are logical. For example, a jab should come out and recover quickly and do little damage while a sweep should come out and recover more slowly but track and do more damage.
To tgrant: I don't agree with you about the idea of all moves should be sidesteppable. Moves like sweep kicks, spinning backfists, and hook punches should track.
Yeah, cause if someone is side stepping a lot, you would do a non sidestep able attack to stop them.
Like a wide swinging move.

I like what Ermac_88 was pointing out in a way. MK needs to actually follow up on its storyline. For example Reptile has nothing to do with Kano, so don't have him fight Kano, but he has everything to do with Kitana, Nitara, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, etc... Even add some movie clips before a fight to give it some drama. Especially add the movie clip for the fatality, the graphics don't seem to do the trick in MKDA or MKD. That way it looks that much better.
