I agree with some, they not bad BUT they should be longer. It goes by with a blink of an eye. The player should be awarded with a nice lengthy cinematic piece after initiating various button sequences for all the characters.

I do like the sounds very much though. The screaming, the crunching, the whiplash, the snapping, all sound great. I can't wait to see Liu Kang's classic Arcade drop.

I thought "these fatalities should be longer" too. Then I remembered that fatalities from MK1-3 and a lot of later ones were generally shorter than these, and those games generally have the most highly praised fatalities. I don't really care if they're short. At least we're getting two per character.

I liked Wonderwoman's. Getting launched headfirst into the pavement at high speed is death.

Superman's is kind of dumb because I'm pretty sure that if he tried to hammer somebody into the ground, he'd crush their head or their legs would just snap and fold up. But this is Mortal Kombat. You can't just pull people's arms off in real life either. With that in mind I'd say it could be better but it's still cool.

Shang Tsung's I like. But the sell on the stomp is kind of too exaggerated I think. I would've rather he double stomped on the back of their neck with a nice cracking sound, or double stomped on their spine with the little Bruce Lee twist thingy. Still, not bad.

Acceptable/10.

While that is true, I guess that aspects of Fatalities has changed ever since Mk4, where most were quite decent at length and fun to watch.

With the advances of the game, one expects even more and better.

Simplicity is great sometimes....but not always.

Wonder Woman's was pertty cool, but it looks like Flash's free fall move.

Shang Tsung's just looks like a special move.

I've already seen Superman's and it's still a rip off from Sheeva.

I'd like to change my score of lolwtf/10 for Superman's to Sheeva/10. Complete lack of creativity here.

I wonder why Superman is the only one who gets blood in his finishing move.

Out of all that I've seen, the only two that look remotely decent are Sub-Zero's and Green Lantern's, and the latter's only because it looks agonizing.

About Me

Laugh if you like. Doesn't matter. Assume that you're so much smarter than the poor, broken lunatic. Doesn't matter. But think about this: Your a dead thing, same as me. You died and were reborn...as this. What makes you and me different? Simple -- I remember what I saw when I was full and truly dead. You'd be mad too.

I dont know why buyt Superman's looks better than the first time I saw it. It's still pretty average.

Wonder Woman's is unoriginal and boring.

Wtf is Shang Tsung doing exactly ? It's not bad but I expected way better.

Wonderwoman- I think this one is passable.

Shang Tsung- Initially I watched this video once this morning(in a rush) and it came off horribly. I've since watched a couple more times, and it's growing on me. I don't really understand what a backbreaker has to do with the soul steal though. They did it in Deadly Alliance, and it came off weak. They did it here, and its not much better. The MK II soul steal is one of my favorite fataltites of all time. It could've fit in a T rated enviroment. Here's hoping the next one is better(like I said though, it's growing on me).

Superman- As I've said before, next gen has helped this fatality to the point that it's almost forgivable to have it re-packaged. Actually seeing the debree just helps for some reason. It's like slapping a new bow on an old present I guess.
