In a game subtitled "deception", it wouldn't be complete without the most deceitful ninja of all. I wonder if he has his own agenda. I'm glad he is returning with his own story and hopefully original moves.

gonna be great to have him playable from the start....this his first time like that(not counting the mk3 upgrades)?

Yeah, besides the MK3/MKT upgrades hes only been playable through cheat codes in MK4... He was hardcore in MK4 too, i played as him all the damn time. That sickle was badass... hopefully he can have it back again in Deception.

he was a completely blacked out kano in mk3. but yeah he's cool in mkt. didnt like him as much in 4 though, but then again i didnt like much of 4 at all

I like noob... I only hope he gets more shadow powers... and not just clone powers like in TE...

Noob saibot, one of my favourite characters ever.

When i heard he was gonna be in mk6, and when i saw the screen shot of him, dear lord i was extremely happy. I've always wanted noob to return, i favoured him since mk2, i loved that shadow.

Bring him back with new moves and old ones. I want to see that sickle again to, it rocked my world. I cant wait to see what fatalities he will have.

I like Noob, he's pretty cool.

I didn't like to use him in MKT too much because he was too cheep with that fireball of his.

He isn't a shadow anymore he looks like a stealth assassin ninja(badass).

I think Noob works best as a secret character, because I see him as the definitive secret character. Still, I'm glad he's in MKD as a playable character; better han not being in there at all. I hope he has some interesting new moves.

can sum1 tell me a site where it shows Noobs story in the older games because i never really played with him and never really looked into him, he was always just a char that was just there 4 me. But now that he looks awesome in Mk:D i wanna find out more about him. Noob, Ermac, and Rain r the only 3 chars i know nothing about, besides that i know everything about everyone.

Noob Saibot - A ninja who fought in the Outworld tournament. He emerged from the darkest region of reality - a region known as the Netherealm. He belonged to a group called the Brothers of the Shadow, and worshipped the evil and mysterious fallen Elder God, Shinnok. His mission was to spy on the events taking place in the battle between the realms of Earth and Outworld, then report back to his enigmatic leaders.

At first a passive observer, Noob Saibot soon received orders to side with the evil emperor Shao Kahn. Saibot's leaders in the netherealm wanted him to join Kahn's battle to gain his trust and to gain entrance into the Earth Realm. If and when Kahn dropped his guard, Noob Saibot was ordered to attack. With both the Earth realm and the Outworld's emperor defeated, the fallen elder god known as Shinnok could take both realms and gain the power he needed to strike back at the elder gods who banished him into the Netherealm.

However, Shinnok was defeated by Earth Realm and Edenian forces. Still under orders from Shao Kahn, Noob Saibot was commanded by the emperor to eliminate any groups or individuals whose power might pose a threat to Shao Kahn's rule in Outworld. Many would-be leaders had been slain by the dark ninja, but his current target would be his most challenging. The allied forces of Princess Kitana and Prince Goro were locked in mortal kombat with Shao Kahn's army when Noob Saibot made his move on an unsuspecting and battle-weary Prince Goro. The two fought savagely, but it was Noob Saibot who gained the upper hand and mortally wounded Goro, killing him.

hell yeah....of course he's a very cool character....i think his storyline is his most important point,his fatalities never were good,but his mysterious profile and look are ok for me....Noob was a real secret character in MK2,50 wins to find him....i want to see him very improved in MK:D,with outrageous fatalities and more involvement in the game story....and i prefer to have Noob as a secret character in MK:D,not available from the beginning of the game....

Noob was freaking unstoppable in MK Trilogy! Teleport slam, juggle punch followed by his null orb - infallible! I'm psyched that he's gonna be in MKD - except he looks too much like Snake Eyes from "GI Joe". I think they could have retained his "shadow" essence better with just a featureless face, like black fabric was covering it. I hope he still has some of his old moves like his shadow throw, but it will be interesting to see what else he brings to MKD.

He was always my favorite to play as in MKT, and Scorpion. Ironically, the two ninjas from hell. That Cloud Orb was unstoppable. All his moves were pretty flawless, using him, Shao Kahn wasnt even a big deal to destroy.

Then He turned a neutral character that is willing to help the Earthrealm as well as the Outworld.

Noob is probably the classic character I'm looking forward to seeing the most thats been confirmed. I wish they had a better pic of him. I'd like to see how some of his shadow moves translate to 3-d. The scythe was cool too, though I don't know how they'd make a fighting style with it.

I'm really glad that Noob Saibot is going to be in MK: Deception. He's one of the characters I wanted in this game and it's good to have him there. He's one of the most mysterious characters in the entire series and we don't know too much about him. I'd like to know some stuff about his origins and past and such.

Being a dark ninja that he is, I think that Koga-Ryu, one of the first 3 main Ryu of Ninjitsu should be one of his styles. Noob Saibot looks a lot like a Koga Ninja as well. As for his weapon, I like the scythe but what about a Kusarigama (sickle and chain)? It'd be a great Ninja weapon for him and it is also an anti-sword weapon.

Perhaps his story could be tied in with Quan Chi's or the Oni? If Shao Kahn is dead then Noob Saibot has no purpose to serve him anymore.

Noob Saibot should use dark powers from the Netherealm and combine them with a mix of another fighting style of ninjitsu or different martial arts study of what ninjas practice .

I've never liked Noob Saibot. He was a Scorpion rip off, and I dont like Scorpion. If they give him a decent story and good moves then by all means bring him back. He should have anew look, mabe like he was in the TV series, all kinda made of gooey-oil. But I do think it will make a change to see him playable for a change. (except trilogy but he sucked in that).

I think you got Noob Saibot confused with Smoke. Noob Saibot is not a clone of Scorpion at all.

Noob Saibot may be a pallette swap but he did have his own original moves and story for himself.

You are right about Noob Saibot's look, it should be different than all the other ninja's which is what the developers are trying to do.

Oh and I don't agree with you about Noob Saibot "sucking" in "Trilogy" If you learned his moves he is a very deadly and fast opponent. His special move lets you become invincible for a short period of time also.

I think Noob Saibot has alot of potential in "Deception" he is from the Netherealm which I really like, I could see his face deformed underneath his mask just like an Oni. The developers brought Noob Saibot back for a reason and I think he will please many fans of Mortal Kombat, even the one's who thought he "sucked" too, just wait till the game comes out, you might like him this time around.

I agree with you, i have a feeling hes going to play a bigger part in Deception than most of us think...

Well like I said before, we don't really know a whole lot about Noob Saibot so perhaps Mortal Kombat: Deception will be the game in which we'll learn more about him, his role, and maybe some stuff from his past. I think he'll be on his own side but he might be working for someone else. We'll just have to find out.

I want him to have his No Block Ball and his Teleport Slam and maybe he can have some kind of Shadow projectile.
