Allright so characters are getting confirmed left and right. Let's figure out which we'll find in Konquest and which will allready be selectable out of the original 24.

Raiden
Lui Kang (Ghost and Zombie.)
Hotaru
Ashrah
Ben/Kobra
Mid Boss character/ Shokan
Kira
Scorpion
Ermac
Baraka

Now, those were confirmed. Raiden was confirmed before, and now, so we can assume Reptile was right by the X box magazine and Boon's original line up of Consisting of 6 DA returning is incorrect. But above, from what I remember, that's only 26 characters. Any corrections?

as far as im concenered,
theres only 12 chracters that are playable from the start and one that can be unlocked out of the other 12.

they are:

Baraka

Nightwolf
BoRaiCho
Sindel

LiMei
Ashrah
Kenshi

Unlockable
Noob Saibot.


Simply put, no proof, either in the form of video or picture, no confirmation.

Retile was confirmed by an XBox magaizine. And Boon confirmed at E3 the sub boss will be playable.

Even though the team confirmed them? They were all confirmed by the team, and Boon said himself there would be more then 24. Characters (notice the S) unlockable from Konquest can be added on to the additional 24.

But in the E3 interview Boon said that you would eventually be able to play as the sub-boss, didn't he?

im sure many of the characters you mentioned are in.
im sure they will be unlocked, but until i see so for myself or in a video or pic, its safe to say that the characters i mentioned above are guaranteed to be in mkd.

Yeah on the Select Screen. Boon said you can add on to the select screen because there are more in Konquest, hence why there are 26 above.

Could you any of you please refer to where smoke and sektor were confirmed characters?

I remember seeing a scan of a drawing of smoke in the netherboat level, but never have I read a confirmation.

Same with sektor, it's been mainly speculation.

Also, If Reptile were the dragon king, why would there by an egg to hatch in DA?

Smoke was confirmed by Polaski or whatever his name is in and interview. Also when the Fans asked Boon why Characters like Smoke are back. He didn't say he wasn't returning.

Sektor was confirmed by 2-3 magazines. No screens yet, but It looks like there's a cyborg on the Select screen. Unless it's a new Tekunin member.

We saw concept art of Smoke. The Creators Confirmed this. They're in. Don't deny it simply because there's no proof. When they show up, then what will you say? Exactly.
This is becoming extremely confusing...so how many additional characters MIGHT there be, on top of the original 24, that we see on the character select screen? Is there any real estimate?

Yeah, he indid say that, I'm guessing it will be like MK3 or MK4 where there were hidden characters that didn't appear in the select screen. Maybe you enter a code or after you unlock them in Konquest or The Krypt they will appear behind other charaters, say for example Subzero's square and pic will turn around to reveal Smoke or something like that.

Smoke was confirmed by Steve Beran and John Polaski in 2 seperate offical interviews. He's also been sworn to be in by every "insider" whose posted, including Konqrr. I suppose that makes his presence as valid as Tanya's or Kabal's.

Sektor's been confirmed by a ton of unoffical sources, but some have said he'll be a secret character.
