I don't really care if they're real or fake, time will tell. But what i wanna know is this: whether midway did this or if the guy is faking and this this, why does Kung Lao not have a hat? Kung Lao without a hat is like Scorpion without a spear, Sub Zero without his freeze. Lao without a hat is like a MK girl not dressing like a slut. It just isn't the Kung Lao that I love.

its real.. honestly, if they can only be unlocked by something like action replay for now, i don't see how thats *negative*. at least we can play as them and we know that theres a chance that they are super unlockables.. i never played deadly alliance, and i'm probably about to pickup a ps2 or xbox for deception so for people like me its awesome so we can experience the older characters too

If you notice none (or at least Kitana) of them have special moves. Except Monster (cause he is scorpion) They are just there to beat their ass in Konquest.................

So my question is where can you fight Kitana in Konquest? What was their reason for having a fight model left in.

You guys believe this shit? Seriously, you know there's ways to FAKE THIS. There are people who with the right skills can take videos, take out characters that were there before and replace them from someplace else, and make it seem as if they were there the entire time, as if they're real, and part of the original video. Like I said when someone else posted this, those pix are completely fake. I noticed that whole avatar thing, but some dumbass still claimed it to be real. It's not real. MK fans have gotten to be so gullible these days. It's like I could scream "UNLOCK THE SECRET KOFFIN TU AND YOU'LL SEE LI MEI FLASH HER TITS!!!" and I BET you that there would be at least one person who'd try and find that koffin. If it was real I'd unlock it for sure, but c'mon seriously guys, you know that in this game nobody has the same fighting styles as anyone else. I said this before on another thread. Frost doesn't have Fu Jow Pai. They stole that style from Nitara in MK:DA and gave it to Sindel in MK:D. Why would she have it as well? The video can be faked. It's possible so don't make it seem as if it's legit just cuz there's a video. How about they give us a way to unlock these "characters"? If they really ARE the super unlockables, fine, I'll take back all I said, but from what I see, it's all bullshit. Why the hell would they have a character named Monster as a super unlockable? They didn't even need to name him in Konquest, cuz he wasn't really important except for that one fight, so wouldn't you think that if he was a real character, he'd have a new name? Look at his fighting styles. It's the same as Scorpion. He was basically a Scorpion clone just intended for Konquest. Boon stuck him in for Konquest cuz he's got a fetish for Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Why would he be an unlockable character??? Can people not think for once that this is bullshit? There would be no real unlockable character in MK that is the exact same shit as another character. I don't mean Sub-Zero and Frost, I mean same styles, same types of moves, and c'mon, MONSTER? Think for once, people. Whoever did this shit obviously got it off with this fake, cuz he or she is getting some of you to believe that it's real. Sonya is not in this game. Kira wouldn't be in the game if Sonya was here. They replaced Johnny Cage with Kobra basically. Onaga is not an unlockable. There may be a code to play him when it's a 2 player game, against a friend or something, but just like with the 2-D days, I doubt they'd let you choose a boss as a character to fight against the computer. Nitara was supposed to be in this game but she was dropped, and yes, I do hope that she returns and that she could be one of the "super unlockables" but this isn't PROOF. This is something called BULLSHIT. Yesssssss...B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T. Bullshit. I hope my point got across to at least someone.

wrestlingmann, I hope you feel like a complete dumbass when you realize it's a fake. VIDEOS CAN BE FAKED, just like some of the Faces of Death videos out there. They can be faked. They can change things to make it look REAL when they're not. Some yes are REAL, but this however, is NOT. "Monster" had no real point in this game. What do you people not get? Damn this reminds me of how gullible the freshmen at my high school are in September when us seniors told them when they asked for directions that their class was on the 4th floor (which doesn't exist in my school, just like these super unlockables this guy claims to have found). Question, why didn't he use any characters that weren't in MK:DA? Why not Fujin? Why not Stryker? Sheeva? Jarek? Kai? or any other characters that never made it to MK:DA or MK:D? Why did he only use characters that were 3-D already (i don't mean mk4 characters, i mean from mk:da and mk:d)? Fujin was supposed to be in the game. So was Nitara. They were able to fake it with her cuz she was in the last MK game, hence, easier to fake.

What I'm really worried about is..... what kind of people use their free time to make fake videos for characters in mortal kombat. THAT'S JUST SAD, why would you do that. There's no point, its just dumb and a waste of our time and theirs.

This video is real. These characters are not the super unlockables, he simply used a hack to force the players to play as the models that are in the code.
If you guys believe he made a fake video, then you guys are way too paranoid. Do you think in a few hours he could take a model from a different mode and then a model from a different game and put them together frame by frame in a seemless movie within a few hours? Yeesh.

Since I am unable to view the video since. Since so people on this thread have seen it. I guess it is cool. At the same time, I hope these character have endings and also play a role in the storyline of Deception, or else those characters won't have much inpact as they would with endings. Again I haven't seen them. At the same time it would be cool if they were the super characters Boon said you can unlock long after Konquest.

Well, it is highly unlikely these characters will have endings, bios...or even finishing moves for that matter. Much like how Blaze and Mokap were on MKDA.
