*1o You know that in this game nobody has the same fighting styles
That we can ONLY assume. We dont know for sure. If some characters had same or very similar special moves in previous Mk games, then, this is possible. BLAZE and MOKAP are perfect examples. Both had same styles and same specials from other characters. As for special moves, look at KENSHI and ERMAC.

I get what you mean about the assumption, but look at it this way. If they were gonna have super unlockable characters, that take you FOREVER to get (boon said you'd get them "way after" you're done with konquest), wouldn't you think they'd be as strong, original (or semi-original), or even worth it at all? I mean, I doubt they'd make you go through all of Konquest and then hand you some shit like Mokap at the end. That would piss people off and would be a complete waste of time.
Blaze and Mokap imo, were just put in for the fun of it. I don't think they were really supposed to have a real story (well, other than the fact that blaze was the guardian of the last dragon egg) and just put in to be a secret character. They did try to please fans in this game, and they definitely pleased me by bringing back some characters from old games, so I don't think displeasing fans with worthless secret characters would be a good idea.
About Monster, yea I don't really like the name, but they probably would be a bit more creative with characters' names. If I remember correctly, during the fight you have with Monster, I don't think they actually SAID "Monster Wins". They just put the message there, just like with all the other characters you fight (except those that are in this game). Like when you fight Shang Tsung and end up losing, it just shows the little message saying Shang Tsung wins. Yea, maybe if they don't wanna give out the identities of the secret characters, they might make it seem like he's not important, but did they really say much about Monster? It's like he was just, there. There may be new characters that are put in as super unlockables, but I doubt they'd introduce them like that. It's like, you fought him once and that was it. Yea, it is pretty much my opinion that he's not important, but to me it's like movies where they don't name characters. They don't play a big role, they don't do much, they're just there. If they wanted you to fight someone, and they had a huge role, they probably would've come up with a better name than Monster. Yea that's my opinion, but it does seem reasonable to me at least.
You have a point about Ermac and Kenshi. I noticed that the second I heard that they were both in this game and it's kinda stupid, but I've gotten used to their fighting styles more than their moves. I don't know why they made Ermac into basically another Kenshi with different styles and a different weapon (don't say that it was cuz of his past. in the 2-d days, he only had one telekinetic move, and that was the slam) but making ANOTHER character into a carbon copy is just stupid. I mean kira is a combination of them. She's female (sonya, not to sound sexist or anything but just look at it from an mk point of view), her clothing seems more kanoish, but she doesn't look exactly like one or the other. The same goes with Ermac and Kenshi. However, Monster and Scorpion? They basically look the same. Monster is a bit taller and has some differences, but he's basically Scorpion with a new costume on. It's like Human Smoke and Scorpion in the 2-D days.
As for wrestlingmann, I didn't mean to sound like an asshole or anything, but it's just that people on here believe things too quickly. I'm hoping you didn't think all of a sudden "HOLY SHIT HE'S GOT A VIDEO OF THESE CHARACTERS FIGHTING!! AND PICTURES EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE MISSING AVATARS!! THEY MUST BE SUPER UNLOCKABLE CHARACTERS AS WELL!!" or something, but this is like that Motaro thing. Some people believed it so quickly and felt stupid when it turned out to be bullshit.
I'm sticking with my opinion that they're not the super unlockables and were just cracked with a code or something for this vid. MK:D I doubt would make them the super unlockables, all of those characters I mean. Maybe one or two of them could be a super unlockable (someone please write to boon or find me a way to reach him or midway to find out the truth, i'm sick and tired of seeing that phrase and not knowing who they are and how to get them) but all of those, and having to crack them like that? Yeah the thoughts of playing as MKDA characters in MKD sounds cool... but if you think about using the code then you must have a mod chip for your x box and the characters can't be finished or knocked off a level.
Hmm where would be the fun in playing with a cheat if it's going to freeze your game up every time something like that happens.
Plus I wouldn't buy a mod chip just for this. (around 50 dollars)
I think I would rather just pop MKDA in my XBOX and play as them without the worry of constant freezing and glitches.
On the other hand if this code find leaks more info about a "safe code" hidden somewhere in the game that unlocks them safely I would think that the mk team did a really nice job on the game hiding extra secrets and all .Either which way it works out I still love this game.
