Super-unlockable characters might not have fatalities.

Hmmmmmmm Im very unsure what to believe so far as to whether or not these are unlockable characters. I believe that the pics are real and they video of Jax versus Cage looks very convincing. But this doesnt mean they made the cut to be in deception.
It takes us back to the time when Boon was supposed to have said all the DA characters would be added without stories. I always thought this would happen anyway.
Also on the argument that Midway wouldnt make the secrets hard to find. I think this is exactly what they WOULD have done. About a months into Deadly Alliance, everyone had finished the game,. unlocked all the characters/alternates/stages and unlocked Blaze and Mokap after beating Konquest mode. So in a way the game didnt last very long. This way. it makes the game last that bit longer than usual, having u looking for things after a while keeps the game going and stops people criticising them for not adding enough or making it so easy to find that it wasnt worth the money.

Persoanlly, I believe most, but not all, of the Deadly Alliance characters will be playable. Some will be direct ports from DA, but I believe others will be the Super Unlockables. I think we will not see Shang Tsung, Frost, Kano, Mavado, Mokap (just sucks generally and has not purpose) or Hsu Hao, because there were certain endings form DA that came true and these characters were all killed I believe. I think we will see Kitana, Quan Chi, Sareena and Fujin as the secret super unlockables, with Kung Lao, Cage, Nitara, Drahmin, Cyrax, Sonya, Jax, Blaze, Reptile and maybe Sektor as Ports from DA. I also dont think we will get Noob or Smoke seperately or Onaga.

Play through konquest mode. after you're done, go to edenia and
fight against liu kang...everytime you fight against him you will be a different character. by this way I played Jax, Nitara and Kitana.
Nothing special...they DON'T have ANY special moves so it's boring.
that's why I don't think they are the SUPER UNLOCKABLES.

Whoopy. Games saves suck, plain and simple. I'd rather unlock them. Just because someone hacked and put in DA characters doesn't mean there aren't any. This whole game saves shit is bs. It's fucking pathetic. It takes away the whole point of playing a fucking game that has depth into it.

Kenshimaster, cant u try and get some more info out of your mate about the secret characters. At least ask him for a solid starting block to finiding one. I aint got the game yet and this whole super unlockables thing is getting on my tits......or at least the bits where I would have tits if I was a woman.

so after 3 pages of discussion about some pictures and a video, its still not sure whether there are super unlockables or not?I have to make a summary for myself to make sure I understand everything correctly....that whole''getting characters out of DA'' doesnt make me happy...IF Kitana would be playable, I hope its because she is a super unlockable in Deception and not put her in deception straight out of DA....or do I still dont get the idea

Okey, well I agree with some people here. I honestly don't care if the videos/pics/and millions of proof of SUs are fake or not if the way of getting them is hacking or cheating. The characters would have problems and mess up the fights because they were not made to be playable.
What WOULD be interesting is proof of SUs that were unlocked using the typical Mortal Kombat way. I would rather play with 1 or 2 characters made specifically as Super Unlockables for MKD, than play with all the characters from MKDA that will mess up the fights. If these "hacked" characters from MKDA don't support MKD's new features, then I just play DA.
Anyway, the point is; at least for me, that there is no joy on getting characters using cheats/hacks, and even less joy if these characters don't support MKD's new features correctly.

funny how people argued that it was fake at the beginning of the post and when they whre proved wrong they said that they MEANT something else, and now they are real but not really since they used a cheat device.
In every mortal kombat game there has always been a hidden character. I dont see why people refuse to belive that there are some in this game.

Monster and Onaga appear to be the "Superunlockables". Judging by those who have hacked the game (or whatever the technogeek term for it is) they are the only additional "fightable" characters that are complete. They also have Puzzlefighter versions of them! (as well as ALL of the 24 characters). If you don't believe me check out www.gamefaqs.com and under the FAQ/Walkthrough check out Onaga's. In the FAQ section of the guy's Walkthrough he gives a website with pics of ALL of the hidden puzzle fighters (including Onaga, Monster, Ghost Liu Kang, Noob, Smoke, etc.). It looks geniune to me.
It is said that the other MK:DA character models are NOT complete therefore not the superunlockables. So, hopefully this should shed some light on the big SU question.

I hope we are able to play as all of these characters. Kung Lao, Sonya, and Cage are my favorite characters and I hope to see them being playable.

yeah it is weird that the characters aren't fighting and they all have a full energy bar for who knows what reason. i don;t know why they said classic raiden is in it. that;s raiden from mk:da. these are just models from conquest. u can play as them with a cheat system like gameshark, but i doubt they have fatalities, hara kiri's or that they look as real when they fall on spikes and crap like that ( except if they're actually super unlockables, which would be great cause we would have more characters and i wouldn;t have to risk messing my game up with gameshark)

Yes, DEPTH, moron. You know, it's called Konquest, the thing so many people are having trouble on because there's a lot of shit in it thats beyond punch punch kick. Dumbass. And the "Super Unlockables" aren't real. They are hacked and are, therefore, BASIC CRAP.

All I'm saying is that it is PROOF that the character is in the game....it's obvious you fight him. But is it PROOF of it being a Super Unlockable?....I don't think so. Super Unlockables are those characters that after doing certain actions in the game are UNLOCKED for you to play with them...I'm sure the guys at Midway didn't think to tell us: "Yes, there are super unlockables...go and buy Action Replay(or GameShark) and enter these codes...there you go!!".

Yes, but there are some of us who don't give a damn about stuff like that. We don't care how, we just like playing with characters that we're not supposed to be playing.
