Well, at least she is not totally screwed.
Im happier she has more then 2 special moves, but Im still upset with the poor selection.
Lets see:
* Kiss of Death: Excellent, a trademark already and amazing move.
* Flying Boots: I suppose this is her Square Wave Punch, Im actually surprised, it looks really cool and super fast, I love it.
* Armed Forces: Now, why, WHY the HELL didn’t they give her a ring toss or even her original Mk4 projectile move instead of this LAZY copy/past Kira move? Im not sure but it looks the same. While I really like the name of the move, it sucks to see them all LAZY again. RING TOSS would had rocked.
* Face Planter: Ok, the fly kick is back, great.
But where the hell did her LEG GRAB and BICYCLE KICKS go???? Those 2 are better moves then the last 3 up there. It sucks. And her RING TOSS???
I rarely complain when it comes to Mk, but after seeing all the crappy stuff we have been getting for MKA, Im starting to loose faith in the game and worst, love for the storyline seems to be, well, kind of gone with the last news.
Anyways, its great she still has Tae Kwon Do, the style suits her perfectly, and I hope she has Kali Sticks, those weapons rock. Hopefully she does and theres still some hope for Sonya.
As for her loiading screen, since I cant even see her well, Im not excited about it. Looks small and simple. *sigh*

BTW,im glad atleast Sonya got some more moves,and i always loved using Tai Kwon Do with her.

Yeah, her pretty kick now has three kicks to it, making a four hit combo.
Her specials looks pretty good. Her fan throw is pretty quick as is her teleport, and the fan lift takes the opponent up the way by the look of it.
He throw also looks pretty good, but she does end up up far away from the opponent. Could probably lead to some combos.
Im no style expert but Ba Gua and Stee fans (especially) look to have a few more moves. Steel Fan has a lot more moves for the air.
She also looks to have been laying off the cookies lol her ass and face isnt as fat.

I think that's cool she has the square wave punch too. Just like MK2.

Thats excellent news for Kitana fans, she got 6 special moves, thats a lot!
Too bad she stole another Sonya move again, she could had gotten something new. Square wave punch was Sonyas, the bad part is that it seems the team is taking the lazy way and making characters share moves. That sucks.

And in regard to her 'stealing Sonya's' move. YAWN! Kitana is a bunch of pixels, as is Sonya. Ed Boon or whoever decides what moves they get.
Both have had the move previously so how can she steal it again? Especially when they both are missing it and get it back at the same time.
Style sharing/move sharing has been on the cards for a while. i dont see why people are so surprised.

I sent 3 not 4, that much because when I wrote to you the first time you never replied, so I assumed you never got the Pms so I sent more then one just in case.
As for the move, thats exactly my point, it sucks they kept the stupid "characters sharing" moves crap. MkA seems to have taken the lazy way, in almost everything. No creativity anymore, no nothing.

So you take the MKA teams laziness out on Kitana. Wow. Theres a change.
And while we're on the subject of Sonya, I think some of her special moves look pretty unsafe. Especially the square wave punch, same with Kitana on that, I expect, we didnt actually see her S.W.P but I expect its the same. Kitana has the advantage of her Fan Lift tho.
And I think Sonya's 'Boots' move will be her Flying kick not her Square Wave Punch. Why call a move about a punch 'boots'.

You are probably right about the moves name, "flying boots" I thought made sense because, well, she can fly. Anyway, so far, to me, Sonyas moves suck badly because they could had been better (except the kiss and square wave punch). Aher her throw? I mean, we know she is powerful enough to grab any huge male and throw him far far away, but the throw doesnt suit her. Its just, not creative at all, and more characters are sharing the throws too.

If a thread is similar to another one or is asking something I might had already written, then Im free to quote my exact same response instead of writing it all over again with different words like many people on this boards do, and I havent seen them being told off for that (XiahouDun84 for example).

You should be grateful that you get Sonya at all. her moves are sufficient. i could actually see her leg grab causing a whole heap of problems for her, especially now that the Shokans/bosses are in the game.
The second issue. For one thing you had your say on the moves in here. People can see your opinions where it is originally posted. its a waste of a post and spac to post it again. Its like double posting, which isnt allowed because, other than ebing annoying, it takes up space. Ok it may seem a bit harsh for one post, but what if everyone was doing it. Another thing is that the other thread was not needed. Posting the exact same post in multiple threads is frowned upon. My comment was nothing more than words of advice, especially given your current situation. (As for XiahouDun or whoever doing that, I cannot comment on that, as I have just returned recently from a moderating 'break' for personal reasonal reasons, so have not seen it. Im sure If i come across others doing it, I will say the same thing).
Anyway this issue can be left here and the thread returned to its purpose.

I really wanted Sonya to have her ring toss and at least her bi-cycle kicks, but I am glad that she at least looks like she will be a better fighter than in MKDA!
I am downloading that Kitana video now.....kinda taking awhile, so I hope it's worth it, lol

Kitana is great, she has a great Pretty Kick, a fanlift that works vertical and straight, and infinite fan toss and a teleport move - Midway seems to be listening to their fans, plus doing more.
Then I see some fan faves like Sonya's Leg grab and Cages nut punch not there. Oh well, Sonya got TKD and Kali, so I am happy...
