Sonya should have gotten her red MK3 outifit.

Anything besides what the gave Noob Saibot. I didn't like it as his main form in MK:D and I don't like it now as an alt. He's a wraith, and he doesn't need a damned flesh tone.

Woulda have been nice to see Sonya in her MK1 outfit personally. They had to go in a whole different direction for Jarek, his original costume was just Kano's anyway.

MK1 Raiden woulda been nice, and a much more spindly, less fleshy, bonier Meat woulda made for a good alt costume, something he missed out on completely. Similarly, it would have been nice to give Mokap and Chameleon alt costumes. Mokap, I dunno, just plain civvies? Or maybe something like Kobra's (in idea, not look), an outfit that was official to his primary fighting style. Chameleon coulda easily just been a MK2 or MK3 ninja look ands till keep his colour swapping effect.

Stryker, well, I dunno. his new primary is cool, but his MK3 look I don't think would have really suited the 3D model format. Blaze could have easily been his MKDA body but using a similar texture map to his MKA one.

It's probably just me, but Scorpion's MK4 face mask looks retarded and spoils the whole costume. He'd have been better with the MK3 face mask.

Smoke, well they shoulda ditched his etheral look. It looks awesome in renders, but in game it looks silly. Stick with the cyberninja and maybe his human ninja form. Shinnok's alt shoulda been his primary, the robes look heaps better.

Jax definatly shoulda had his MK3 duds on, the whole homie/whatever looks doesn't fit the military character. Neither do black and purple tights but they do better than his yellow outfit. Same for Darrius. While I actually couldn't care less for this character, his alt costume is absurd.

Thank god they didn't use Reptile's MK4 look.

They shoulda given new alts to Nitara, Frost, Bo Rai Cho, well, most of the MKDA cast actually. MK2 Shange Tsung woulda been cool

I liked Reptiles MK4 costume. Even though Reptile revealed his face in previous MKs before that MK4 was the first time that he fought with his face fully revealed. It was one of those love it or hate it situations. I happend to love his new look. About alt. costumes I don't like in MK:A. I'm not a huge fan of Goros alt. To me it looks like Havik's alt. costume. It would have been cool to have his "battle" attire look more like metal armor. On an alt. costume that I do like is Shao Khan's alt. Wicked mask alternative.

I personally would have had Nightwolf's alt be nothing but jeans and a sexy tribal pendant, but that's just me.

A bit more imagination would have been nice for Tanya's alt,

her main costume is so deadly, but her alt is basically the same, just not as hot, t
hey should have done something like what they did with sindel, and given her a completly different second look.

I didn't have a problem with most alts, but I would rather have seen :

Liu Kang - should look normal as primary, zombie as alt....

Raiden - needs his MK look back, or at least MKII

Jax - oh boy, his alt was terrible. Should have given him his MKII look back

Cyrax - hate his alternate. Should have been more like Sektor's alt

Kenshi - Too bland. His costumes are very similar

Reptile - I never liked his MK:DA primary, so I don't like his alt

Sub-Zero - Should have his MK:DA unmasked as alt. Scrap the Shredder

Ermac - I wish they would give him the red mask back and make his alt look more like a ninja.

But anyway, I think Nightwolf looks unique in his alt. Props to giving Kano his old MK look, along with Kung Lao's primary. Hotaru's alt is pretty cool too, I like the mask.

Shao Kahn's was pretty sub-par as well.

I would’ve done:

Raiden:
1st: MKA Primary (Dark Raiden, but kept his eyes white.)
2nd: MKDA Primary (Light Raiden)

Liu Kang:
1st: Spirit
2nd: MKA Alt (Alive) The zombie form isn’t even him, it’s some random guy (Havik?) possessing what’s left of his body.

Sonya:
1st: Shaolin monks attire, MK3 look.
2nd: MKA alt (Military attire) MK3 look.

Scorpion:
1st: MKA Alt (golden armor, had a samurai aura)
2nd: MKDA Alt (Flaming skull, what he really looks like.)

Sub-Zero:
1st: MKA Alt (Ancestral armor)
2nd: MKDA Primary (Unmasked)

I’m satisfied with most of the rest, odd how it’s mostly the originals I think should’ve been changed.

Ed Boon should have stuck with his multpile costume idea thing.

not to be mean or anything, but was this a different version of another thread? because i know there have been one thread about costumes and being the suckiest sucked that ever sucked.

I just don't like the return of old school costumes as primary for scorpion and sub-zero, scorpion costume from mkda , mkd looked more bad ass, now comparing the primary look like spandex suits. Happy to have normal liu kang as well as zombie, white raiden as well as black raiden would have been nice, Shao Khan and Goro alt. what was that? jax alternate is terrible, they mostly used the old costumes and alt, for the ones since MKDA , it was somehow rushed on that aspect.
