Hopefully its not true. I would rather see kitana and sonya 1000 times better than those 2.....things.

I would say it would have to be kitana because sonya has had an ultimate makover and been improved many times but the creaters of mortal kombat never gave kitana that same chance. now is the time.

Maybe. Its true Kitana never has a chance to improve.

I would have to say that not only is Sonya better than Kitana, she's the best character in the MK series. She simply OWNS!!!!

The flying kick that they gave sonya in Deadly alliance isnt a new move.
technically she used the same flyingkick in the Mortal komabt preview cartoon, the one just before the first feature movie was released.
She used it, when she was fighting sub-zero on the boat.
Kicking out Sonya nd Kitana for Tanya and Sindel is just Evil.

So far the confirmed character list has nobody for Sonya's story to play off of. No Jax, no Kano, not even Johnny Cage. No reason for her to be in Deception, if ther is no reason for her to be there.

Kitana at least has Sindel and Mileena, and that's a start. Build on that.

Sonyas story does not have to only evolve around Jax and the SF though. She could have a new twist.

Kitana can be replaced very easily by Mileena.

Nicely said XiahouDun84. Both characters appearances are original. Sonya is the tomboy with good looks and Kitana is the sweet girl trying to risk her life to save others. Both of them are my top fav. and even though i prefer kitana i like sonya still and dont go bashing her character. Both of their stories need to change. I want people to stop saying kitana's story is lacking and is just repetative when sonyas story is the same. Lets try and say positive things about the characters for a change.

I also like Mileena more, but I think Kitana is NOT that bad to actually be replaced easily. Kitana is very popular you know?

Thats what I thought at first. I hated them before, BUT after actually playing with them I was SHOCKED!!!! I loved their brutal force!

They are one of the Top weapons of MKDA.

BUt I still love the steel fans the best, but they were weak in MKDA. But they are one of my fave!

The Kali sticks are amazing!

The steel fans are very cool, but Kali better.

Its a shame that the two leading females of Mortal Kombat , Kitana and Sonya, most probably wont be in this next installment.
