So far, there actually are weapons in the game. Baraka can use his blades and Deathstroke can use his sword. I think it's pretty cool, what about you?

so far they've only used them when using Special Moves, but i haven't seen Deathstroke using his blade yet.
If anything, they should only use there weapons for main Kombat when they enter "RAGE" mode, because the weapon switch thing is unneeded in new games.

as long as baraka can still unleash his claws on a whim then im happy with the weapons.
i am ver appreciative that baraka made it into this game

Personally, I'm in favor weapons, but only if they are a trademark of the character.
Baraka's blades, Kitana's fans, Jade's staff, etc. But I'd be against giving a weapon to someone who isn't generally associated with one....like Sonya, Quan Chi, Cage, etc. But then people would argue about balance...

Sounds cool to hear that you can fight with weapons in this game, on the trailers I saw I didn't see them, I thought this game was gonna be good, but its gonna be better with weapons.

Weapons would be a nice addition. But considering all but one character on the DC side doesn't have one, wouldn't that make the game a tad unbalanced? I do feel though the those character that have had weapons since their first introduction on the MK side should have weapon stance options. Kitana, Baraka, those two should certainly have weapon stances.
