What are your thoughts about "TANYA"?

What are your thoughts about "TANYA"?

I havent heard many people talk about her. Do you think she could possibly be in MKD? Was she even a good character? Was she a rip-off of another character??

-I personally liked tanya in mk4. When i first played with her, she felt original to me at first. Later on i noticed she looked similar to the other female ninjas like kitana and mileena. I think tanya was pretty good. I liked her ending, how she betrayed lui kang, it was unpredictable. What are your thoughts about this character who doesnt seem so popular?

I hope Tanya never returns. Didn't she get executed? Meh, regardless, i didnt like her, i like kitana alot better.

I think Tanya was a unique character design. I never played as her, and ive only heard bad things. I hope she gets a second chance.

Are there any fans of hers out there??

Well also her moves were kinda unique. The way she shot the fireball. That one spiral kick thing. What where her fatalities though? Didnt she have a kiss of death also??

i dont care about tanya at all. im not saying shes good or bad. im not saying i like her or not. but im gonna say i dont think she has a chance to be in deception

Boring character, only her fatality was cool. She was only made in place of Kitana, because they thought they needed more newbies. I'd much rather see Jade come back than Tanya any day.

Tanya seemed original when you first saw her, but then playing as her, and thinking of her character design and fatalities it was obvious she was a cheap Kitana rip off.

I agree 100% Tanya was a complet Kitana ripoff cuz she wuznt in the game so they replaced her with another femlae ninja and personally, I think shes a ripoff of Kitana and Jade.
I also agree that Jade should come back. She was the best and her fatality was the shiznat.(Stab and shake) Damn!! I hope she comes back and has the stab and shake fatal in 3d. Damn!!!!

You know what I think...and this is just my opinion and speculation...if Tanya were to return, she would actually be Kitana in disguise revealing herself in the end. Posing as Tanya to remain out of danger and close to her enemies.

i think that weve seen the last of tanya and i think she dies and i hope someone breaks her bones in half like a fatalitie shes a wanna be kitana,millena.and jade
I used her sometimes..

But then again I use all characters..

She honestly felt like some slapped together character though.. nothing too interesting IMO.

Good thread.

The only reason Tanya exists is because time constraints prevented Kitana and Mileena from being in MK4. I dislike her as a result.

MK4 had some good points.

I like the designs of

Jax
Sonya
Reptile

Alot better than there MKDA looks.

And some of the new characters were pretty cool such as.

Tonya
Reiko
Fujin

If they ever kill off kitana then Tanya could take her place.

tanya could of been better but she just felt average when i played as her she should of had a better costume ect but im not really botherd if i see her or not as long as i see mileena which i know im happy lol

i like her too. and besides the kiss of death i don't think she was a rip-off of kitana at all. her story was interesting to me. a traitor is something mk hasn't seen. most characters' intentions are pretty cut and dry, hers was interesting. however, it probably resolved itself too. but i wouldn't mind seeing her back. she was one of my favorites in mk4 and i disagree with the majority.

Tanyas story in MK4 was pretty interesting. I wouldnt say she was a rip-off of kitana and mileena. She seemed very different to me. Her moves were kinda original at least. Since she was a traitor in mk4 she could return with evil plans once again. who knows. Shes a very underrated character who deserves a chance. I think every mk character should at least be in 2 games so they wont seem like they were pointless or something.

I actually liked her. As I have said before, I like every single MK Character with the exception of Mokap and Stryker.

But back onto Tanya I would like to see her again, but we will anyhow, she'll be in Konquest!
