I'd give him a 9. He's got a very cool look to him. The sword is GREAT, although I'm not entirely sure why a guy that looks to be asian would have a weapon that looks persian, but that's besides the point.

Out of all of the concept pictures of Dairou's head, I think the MK team picked the best look. I like the colors and everything else so far. Not crazy about the hair, but like I said, it was the best of the head pictures available in my opinion.

definitly a 10. When I first saw Hotaru I thought he was the best new character now its down to him and Dariou lol. Dariou looks awesome I can;t wait to play as him.

He doesn't convince me yet... I got to see his special moves first... So ar, to me he is yet ANOTHER samurai (with cooler sword though)

well I absolutely love him he is one of my new favorite characters and one reason is because he is probably gonna fight just like kung lao with his sword. if you look at how hes holding it its the exactly same stance kung lao had and even though no double kitanas (sadness lol) this will work fine because that means I can get this style on shujinko! lol but besides that he looks awesome and i hope that he is quick and powerful like kung lao

when i look at him he reminds me of reptile and quan mixed.... i give him a 7 ( since i dont know much bout him but he looks tite)

He looks great, but I think tha Hotaru is still better. I would give him 9 out of 10

so far i would give him a 7, i really like that joint lock or bone breaker i saw in the trailer.

I think Dariou is one of the best new characters in MKD. His look and weapon is bad ass, and we needed a samurai anyway.

A good character, yes. Don't be fooled by the rating, because I've given lower to characters who have been conerstones of MK(Kano, for example).

He's nice, but he doesn't bring anything new to the table. His design is impressive, with his being the style of a true samarai. Yet I find him a bit dull at the same time. We need something fresher than this.

probably a 9. I like him, but he needs a differen name, Dariou(SP?) and Darrius are way to close in spelling. One needs to have a difference. Aside from that he looks great, and I also have to agree his weapon is bad ass! Hopefully that weapon can be included fo a fatality.

I'd probably give him an 8. Him and Kira are definitely my favourites among the new characters in MKD.
Some people seem to don't seem to enthusiastic about his hair, but personally I think it's the coolest part of his design. I love that hairstyle... I've even been thinking of getting it myself for some time now.
