quan chi was only cool in mk 4 with his stomp atack, now he suks and you know it with his gay fighting stiles.

Quan Chi is the best character in Mortal Kombat... He won MK5, he kick the ass of Raiden and he kick the ass of Shang Tsung... Who cares if the Dragon kick beat him... the DKis just a Shao Khan ripoff
Quan Chi have teleport himself when Raiden exploded and he will be back in MK7... trust me, the MK team is too smart to let on the sideline a great character like him, same thing with Shao Khan, he will probably be back in a playable form in a future MK...

I didnt like Quanchi that much in DA but he was good in MK4 and if hes improved a little bit I would like to see him in mk7.

I think that Quan Chi is still alive. When Raiden charged up all of his matter into that ball of energy, Quan Chi was the only one aware of what was going on. Shang Tsung concentrated on Onaga and Quan Chi stopped shooting energy at Onaga and began to run.
Quan Chi may be seriously wounded from that big explosion and he probably dropped the amulet in his escape from Shang Tsung's palace. Quan Chi may be hiding in a cave in Outworld somwhere and he is plotting for his big comeback while he is healing from his wounds.

actually he escaped before raiden blew himslef up...when quan said to raiden what are you doing....you can see him jump out of the way and prolly teleported out of harms way

If you have the BradyGames strategy guide, the fold-out section with the character bios also has "Shujinko's Story of Mortal Kombat," part of which says "Raiden sacrificed himself in a massive blast that killed the two sorcerers, but it had no effect on Onaga."
So it looks like both Quan and Shang are dead. Which is sad, since I thought Quan was a cool character with serious potential. But, like Boon said, nobody really dies in MK, so he'll probably be back.

Quan Chi was awesome until MK5. I hate the way he looks and his moves blew too, along with one of the worst fatalities ever.

i hope that shang lives and quan dies.....and shang gets his morphing ability to come back:D

Here's to hoping that Shang survived, but I think Quan's a great character, I hope he's back as well.
Shang Tsung has just been the embodiment of evil, ever since the beginning...to me...he's "the joker" of the MK series...he's the original villain.

I first started to like Quan Chi when I saw one of his fatalities in MK 4. The one where he rips off the person's leg and beats them with it! I personally, like the way he looks in MK DA, more than in MK 4.

Arguing that Quan Chi isn't dead is like those that argued that Onaga isn't Reptile, which we know through Sindel's ending, he was. People around here have a very, very severe case of denial.

Quan Chi was stupid in MK4, he looked like a sentai bad guy... But he was cool in MKDA, even if his fighting styles didn't fit really... I'm a bit deceive by his absence in MKD (in fact, I regret all MKDA characters away of MKD)

i think he might still be alive , prolly under the ashes or he teleported out of there
yes quan chi was my fav in mk4....he reminded me of pinhead o_O
in DA he was ok but i didnt like the way he looked as much in mk4

but who says sindel wins and her ending even applys? none of us know for sure! its all speculation! but from the way MKD is set up...no matter who beats dragon king...havik come in after hes dead and eats his heart resurection shao kahn!! i love how they made his ending...his WILL HAPPEN! and if quan and shang are in fact dead...they wont be for long!!

anyway i liked quan...if they gave him his stomp back and a new skull wall...and maybe toss in his old sweep sliding kick thinggy from mk4! ide be happy...but if they ever...and i mean ever give him or anyone else a fatality like they did poor quan in DA ill blow up midway! lol!

i'm still dissapointed that they off'd shang tsung......to me it's apparent that quan chi has survived since you can see his ass run for cover before the blast.......i'd rather have shang tsung personally......ah well.....maybe shang tsung's true form will return......or maybe a 3d representation of the original old shang tsung.....which would rule all ass.....
i kinda have a theory about what happened to the sorcerors though.......it's possible with that the blast had an adverse affect on the sorcerers and instead of raiden destroying them...he may have just absorbed them almost like tsung's soul drain only inadvertant....that could be a reason for raiden's change in attitude as of late.....he has the taint of the evil sorcerer's in his soul now........just a theory but it could be awesome if they could come up with a good way for this to happen

Quan Chi is not the best in all MK. One of the best. He only beat Raiden cuz he was in outworld where Raiden is not exactly his strongest.
