Well, Quan Chi is one of my favorite characters ever in Mortal Kombat so I would be very pissed off if he was indeed killed in the intro. But I have a strong feeling he will be in the game.

even if they're dead during Mkd they'll somehow return...personally i'm tired of shang tsung, as for quan chi i wouldnt mind seeing him again. But if they decide to bring back an old villain it should definitely be Shao Kahn.

If they are both killed in the intro then I would be SUPER HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!

Blashemers! Ah just kidding, scary idea, but an idea. I'd be displeased but its still a possibility, I'm a huge Shang Tsung fan so yeah it would really suck. But I doubt two sorcerrers could go that easily. Even if we witness their death, it won't be the last of either of them.

Ironically, I'm much more tired of Quan Chi than I am Shang Tsung, and Shang's been in 4 games versus Quan's 2. I just don't like Quan Chi.

But yeah, if they're dead all we have to do is wait for MK7 and they'll be back. Or MK8. But they'll be back.

yeh maybe is Quan Chi one of the strongest fighters, but I don't like him either.
and I hope Shang Tsung is destroyed for good in the ending of Kung Lao

Pretentious - Yeah. Not as much as Shinnok though. Still, I'd like to see how well Quan could do without his precious little amulet. Shang would eat him alive.

so far weve only seen qaun chi in a gamepro magazine.. and his arena is in mk:D so thats ebuf evidence for me to belive that hes in.

well....being as old school as i am...i'm very much a mark for shang tsung...he was one of my favs in MK II...but as much as i like shang...i also hold quan chi in high regaurds...but the fact is in my opinion that shang tsung appears to be dead and quan chi will be in deception... the reasons for chi being in deception have already been described by hooded gangsta...and well my reasoning with tsung is the fact that LIU KANG is once again walking among the living....that's one of the very reasons i'm not happy about liu kang returning...because of the fact that shang tsung would have to die before liu could possibly return.......but hopefully if he is dead he will have major possibilities for a return...can you imagine a mortal kombat style tsung in 3D... returning for more souls.....well the story isn't hammered out...but bottom line...it'd be cool

Quan Chi's probably not dead, but no one ever said Kano was dead, either. Mavado's ending only said it ended their rivalry...Maybe that wasn't even kano...coulda been Shang! we dunno, all I know is that Quan Chi actually lasted relatively long (at least a decade or so, due to MKM's storyline) and he was pretty badass in MKG. He'll be back for a couple more, but Shang's basically got at most, 1 or 2 left, hoping for the former...

I also doubt Quan Chi is dead. With out him (practically) Scorpion has no story or place in MK. They have to keep him alive long enough to finish the vendetta and give Scorpion a new story twist.

And Shang Tsung has too much potential and story go die now. Well, I would say its his time but I don’t think he will die anytime soon.

Not if Kang is actually Tsung.

I highly doubt that the Deadly Alliance is dead. They will have a part to play in Deception's storyline, otherwise it would seem a little too random of a transition from DA to Deception. Besides, who would do all the scheming if both Tsung AND Chi are dead.

I dont like either...my favorite villian would have to be Shinnok. I highly doubt he will be in MKD though

I think what pretentious spoke about Shang Tsung actually being Liu Kang. That could be the ultimate deception. Shang Tsung knowing of Quan Chi's "true" purpose was of him decided the best way to think he's dead is to bring back Liu Kang and be him. Either way I think that they'll both play a huge role in Deception. Neither 1, IMO is dead.

It would be cool to have them both as the sub boss for MK:D.

I'm solidly in the "Liu is really Liu" camp. He needs to have one last hurrah before departing for the Heavens.

I dont like Quan Chi, never have. He sucked big time in MK:DA. I do like Shang Tsung thought Im not quite sure where his story can go, so maybe he wont return. I reckon Quan Chi id dead, and Shang Tsung is lurking about in the shadows somewhere.

Both are great characters and to kill them would be pretty stupid especially looking at how well both their stories are going.

We should be seeing them in MKD. I can't wait to find out what happened between the two.

probably dead.. definitly shang tsung cause kenshi's in mk6 and not him, ( tho u never know )

quan will be back, he has the amulet and i think the elder gods are protecting him.. ( or shang or the dragon king, but someone tho )
