i like the MK:SM version

As this thread is not quite old yet, and was fairly successful, I'm giving it a kick so as to avoid new threads being created.
To recap: Things we know about Reptile in MKA so far:
His MKSM render was utilized in the very first trailer, during the FMV portions of which he was not visible.
The cast render shows us that he now has an "eye" of sorts in the center of his chest, which would seem to correspond to where Sindel stabbed him in her MKD ending. Yet, curiously, Onaga is alive, and Reptile does not appear to be in his Human form, as depicted there.
Onaga and Reptile are now seperate characters, evidenced by the E3 select screen, and here Reptile's beastial head has been identified.
Go nuts again. :)

Hopefully he does not have his MKDA costume. I like the MKSM costume and it is in the trailor so hopefully it is that one, or the original, ( i like the ninja's I cant help it)

I like his MK:SM outfit and his MK4 outfit.

Use Kreate-A-Fighter to make "ninja"* Reptile because him being back in that form would fuck up his story. Reptile's de-evolution is the only story development he's had.
* - Scorpion is the only true ninja in MK, the rest are assassins in ninja costumes.

The MKDA look is the only thing that has sopme relevance. The MKSM costume is not catchy enough. And the ninja suits are plain stupid.
MKSM Reptile in the trailor? How come we can see his tail then?

The MKSM render is shown in the trailer but in the battle scene he is in his MKDA form.

i dont think the "ninja" costume would ruin his story, because, assuming Khameleon is in this game, he would return back to his human form would hw not?

Not necessarily. It was only stated that he de-evolves the longer he's away from the matriarch - we don't know if being near her again will work in reverse.
And it's just fan supposition that Khameleon is a matriarch, anyway. It was never stated that she was.

A modernized MK3 so he looks human, and alternate his MKDA

Use Kreate-A-Fighter for "ninja" Reptile.

Even then it wouldn't be instantaneous and (correct me if I'm wrong) MKD/U happens immediately after MKDA and MKA is immediately after MKD/U.

MK:SM is the best IMO.

MKDA costume is too primitive, the best costume would be mixing up the MKSM costume with MK4, but it's not going to happen.
Hopefully both costumes aren't just from MKDA.

MKSM was set during the time of MK2 so it doesn't make any sense (story-wise) for Reptile to look like that now.

This is to the ninja fans posing as Reptile fans: "Kreate" your own Reptile while the rest of us play with the real one.

the best is mk4 semi reptile costume

Just remembering Reptiles MKDA costume was disapointing to me. Just thinking of the crab like fighting style was awkward. What happend to his force ball? Biggist mistake Midway ever made to me. But they quickly recovered from that error with the MKSM Costume which still kept his reptilian look. That was great, don't you agree.

He should have his MKA Roster form. And his alt should be a Somewhat classical Ninja look. It should be Like his MKSM costume, minus the head-wrap. But, to keep it similar to his Primary, he should have his lizard body, with the Long Snout and Tail.
I allways thought that was the best idea. And he should have a revamped Hungar form, with better combos. And his Kirehashi.

Most people probably wont agree but I would have to say MK4 as the main costume and MKDA as his secondary. There are ready to many ninjas the way it is.

The MK4 costume totally sucked! I don't know y ppl like it, but as to keep in Subject, i think Midway will make his MK:SM costume and his MK:DA primary.

ok heres my thought, i hated his mkda look it was very sluggish and I dont want to fight as a giant iguana i want to fight as a saurian.
his mk2,3,t look is over with, its unoriginal if you want to fight as him in a ninja form i suggest gettin mk trilogy or create it in mka. his mk4 look was ok i dont know he looked kinda like a green monkey to me. his mksm outfit is his best yet, hes got a unique ninja suit and mask but his skin and face is reptilian and i liked that the best although i think they need to change his mouth shape if there going to use that in mka.

I love the MKDA costume. But I will be happy with anything that is not the MK4 costume.
