I say use his MK:SM outfit with MK4(alternate ninja outfit) and possibly his MK2 look as secondaries. For all of you who say his DA form is original, go play Soul Calibur, or better yet, Everquest. Ditch the crappy DA form, I never want to see it again. It's an abomination to all things Mortal kombat. If you don't like ninjas, quit whining or quit playing Mortal Kombat.
My 2 cents. PS. In the latest trailer when they flash the pictures of all the cast, he's in his SM costume BTW, I saw someone mention a trailer with footage of him in his DA form. Which one is this, I haven't seen it?

No. Having 9 pallette swapped ninjas is a slap in the face. Do you not realize how stupid it would be to give Reptile back his human form? It would be completely uncanon (Unless Sindel's ending happened).

Well, Sindel's ending is likely, it's the only explanation so far for why Reptile and Onaga can be in the same game. And as I said before, if you don't like ninjas, quit playing Mortal Kombat. And, in case you didn't notice, his MKSM form is not a pallette-swapped ninja and his DA form is laaaammme. Besides, if he can "devolve" from a semi human form into that thing from DA, there's no reason why he can't evolve back. Plus if you look really closely, he's actually in his MK2 form in Sindel's ending. LOL. Probably Midway's apology for their horrible mistake.

Yeah, the lizard-man style costume sucks, it was popular when tekken used it to make roger but its been overused and gone to crap now...
anyways, i want them to re-invent reptiles look, to make him look like a cool ninja but like his not human
1.) They should leave all human aspects (body wise)
2.)They should lean to making him like himself from MK4, only with an alternate with a mask as well
3.) His voice should sound like a half-human half-snake creature (alot like any typical talking snake voice on TV)
4.) and DONT MAKE HIM BLEED GREEN, it looks insanely fake, make one of the cyborgs bleed green and say its the plasma they run on.

I don't see how you can't find the video with Reptile in his MKDA costume. Its the original trailer that was first released. The one with the Bad guys and Good Guys running towards eachother inside the canyon. You can clearly see Reptile in his MKDA costume running with the bad guys. He has his spikes, tail, and lizard head

either the MKSM or the MK4 suits, but MK2,3 would be ok but definently not the MKDA costume

All I know is I wont rest till I have a confirmation through gameplay videos or screenshots of Reptile wearing his shaolin monks costume. I still say there's a 50/50 chance, but midway always comes through when they want to please the fans on how we want the characters to look. Here's top reasons why Reptile will or will not have his shaolin monks costume and or another type of ninja costume:
1) every character from umk3 who wore the same ninja costume, that evolved all the way through mk armageddon, now all have some type of "ninja" like costume. (why would they leave out reptile?)
2) In the select screen for Armageddon, when player 1 and player 2 are both prompted, player 1 is Scorpion in his mkd alternate (umk3). Subzero on player 2 is highlighted showing his mkda alternate ninja costume. There is your proof that the MK team wants all the ninjas to stand out.
3) Reptile's MKSM form was shown in every trailer for Armageddon whenever there were flashes of characters' renders. The first trailer was shown in Febuary, and the latest during E3 in May. IMO this does not prove that it will definitely be in the final game why?: Shao Kahn was shown in these flashing renders in his MK2 form. So far we know that his both costumes from deception were copied and pasted into Armageddon, unless there are more than 1 alternate costumes per characte and only then would he get his MK2 look. Kung Lao and Liu Kang are also shown in their MKSM renders during the flashes. Still no proof of those looks anywhere in gameplay videos or screens YET.
4) Boon knows the fans LOVE ninja costumes. In Smoke's trading card bio for Deception, Ed states that "the fans wanted to see smoke both as a robot and as a ninja, so we kinda had to make both".
5) I don't think any other character has had this many threads/ topics/ discussions about their appearance, the amount of threads in numerous MK message boards increases the chances of a ninja reptile as an alternate costume.
6) MK3 was the downfall of the MK series. Why? NO NINJAS! that's why they had to make UMK3 and MK made it's way back up the ladder again.
7) I fear that Midway will be lazy and just give him that crap alternate costume from deadly alliance. I absolutely hated that one.
8) There are millions of Reptile fans around the world, not having Reptile in his ninja costume may hurt some sales for Armageddon.
Now. Here's the dilema, if the MK team does choose a ninja costume for reptile, it's likely going to be his MKSM form with the bandages. There's 2 ways they can do this:
1) To make things accomplished, the easy way out for the designer would be to keep the lizardman body from Deadly Alliance, give him bandages around the head, leaving the mouth and eyes open. I would imagine the rest of the costume would not be a problem. I'm not sure if I or any of you ninja reptile fans would like this.
2) They should completely change his body and copy exactly how the shaolin monks reptile render looks. To change a 3D model doesn't take months, so I don't want to hear any crap from anyone, there is no excuse. I'm a 3D model designer myself, and I make 7 to 15 models per day which includes changing previously made models, or making a completely new one from scratch.
There's my $0.02 cents.

Reptile does wear something resembling a ninja costume even in his primitive state and those who want "human" reptile can always use Kreate A Fighter to make him.

I definately want to see his Shaolin Monks outfit, and the other would have to be his Deadly Alliance primary outfit.
And if they give him a third, I say they make him look vintage and be his "First-Ever MK Super-Rare Green Pallet-Swap Ninja" outfit.

I'm definitely for his MK:DA costume - it goes with his storyline, and although I'm not a huge fan of the outfit (Some alterations would be nice.), I like the concept of an insane, primitive Reptile.

I say give him the Shaolin Monks outfit and body with a completely new costume for his alt outfit. Maybe shirtless and unmasked. I really didn't like the DA costume. It was just too in your face. We already know he's a freaking reptile, he didn't need to grow a tail and freaking crocodile snout to prove it. His SM suit is cool because it really emphasizes his disguise. It kind of reminds me of Darkman (if anyone has seen that movie).

the original reptile look in mkll is the best the deadly allience look is ok but the classics are always the best

Reptile was just cooler back when the game was still in the arcades especaly during mkll the ninja uniform was better than mkda but the mksm look is nice too

On a related note, if anyone has noticed, Reptile has the same head and evil smile from his MK2 fatality if you look at the MKSM render. I liked the mk4 alternate for him too, the one where he's wearing the UMK3 outfit showing reptile scales. I guess that one's too much to ask for so I'll just create that one in KAK.
But the MKSM one should definitely be there as an alternate, don't just say you can recreate it in KAK, that's just what we want. We can create anyone in KAK, we know that.

If you look closely at the cast render, you'll see an eye on Reptile's chest. Reptile's MKDA costume didn't have that. It seems odd that they'd edit the design for no reason. Then again, Stryker's costume is his MK3 in the render, but he looks nothing like it in the trailers.
So I assume his slightly altered Deadly Alliance outfit will be his primary. For his alternate, I'm hoping for his MKSM outfit, but wouldn't it be hard to integrate because the two are very different?

You'll be able to create Ninja Reptile in KAK; I would like to see the MKSM costume.

He should stick with his MKDA form

I wouldnt mind seeing anyone of his costumes except for MK4 but the costume i want 2 see come back is his MK2 costume, i saw apicture of him in his ninja form in 3-D at Mortal Kombat Guides and it looks awesome!
