What the fuck is with this stingy ass way of releasing media?

Boon and the team are fucking pissing me off.

Who the hell other than them releases ONE screen shot every other week or whatever the fuck time there is in between them?

Lame as HELL dude.
Yeah! And you know what I hate? Having to order food and wait for the fuckers to cook it.

Actually they've released 5 screenshots, one each to 5 fan sites.
Be fucking patient! That's all I'm saying. Do you really need 500 screenshots of the same 8 characters in different poses and in different arenas? They are playing it smart this time.

Agreed. Midway has blown their proverbial load on the last three mk games so early in the development cycle, that by the time the game came out, it was an almost "why bother" type scenario(except in the case of Deadly Alliance). This has easily been the most talked about, yet, most underhyped MK game in years. I'm excited, so obviously it's working on me. I'm still bummed that this isn't a pure mortal kombat game, but I think i'm gonna have fun with it.

i don't think releasing information makes a game less good. i mean there are just some things i prefer to flat out know and see before i get the game. now since all the characters have been revealed i'd like to see some more gameplay videos and screenshots of characters we've seen almost nothing of.

captain marvel was confirmed eighty years ago and we're just now seeing something. things like that bother me.

Midway releases more stuff than any other company I've ever seen.
Name one game which, 2 months before its release date, released more than Midway is. Heck, the best I usually see is a few screenshots (all from the same gameplay footage) once a month. We're still getting the storyline screenshots from Boon, and those are coming in fairly frequently. I'd rather get one different screenshot per week, than 10 screenshots which all show the same thing in slightly different time intervals.

I think its because they are releasing so many screen shots and releasing soo much info that we r constsntly reminded about the game, unlke in most games u see only a couple screen shots and dont constantly think about it until it comes out. I guess some ppl r getting impatient due to the constant pics being presented on Noob.com and this site rather than the lack of it.

I think they should release some more media but I also understand why they don't. I just wish they would show some more gameplay footage of some of the "other" characters i.e. Baraka, Jax, Deathstroke, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Lex Luthor. There are a lot of characters I haven't seen in action. I'm not counting screenshots. I'm talking about video.

The only screenshots they should have is the characters doing special moves. Just so we can see if the moves changed or if they have any new ones. We don't need alot at one time. Just a couple.

With all the Mkasts and extra events/press conferences they did, I think Boon and the Team give more back to the fans to get excited about.

Truth be told, I'm digging the more reserved release of information on the game; now it won't be as spoiled when we get it. All I really need to know before a game comes out are the following things:

Who's in the game...

A brief description/summation of the plot...

Whether the game is canon (this I added to the list due to "MK vs. DC")...


Anything else released by the MK team is bonus material to me.

And THAT'S what Jack Burton has to say at this time.
