Kai kicked butt, but every1 hates him.

His story was not that bad, they could of given him a fair chance in the sequels......people do not like caracters that are harder to use for some reason......but I kicked butt with him!

he doesnt have a good enough story i think to have him back. i always thought he was a useless character anyway i am glad he hasnt come back. but PSM said every charater from the other MK's are in Konquest

I thought Kai sucked, but that's just me. A lot of people hated Stryker because of reasons like 'a cop doesn't belong in a Mortal Kombat game.' Fair enough.

I wouldn't mind if Kai or Stryker came back, if not both. They're two of the least popular Mortal Kombat characters of all-time, but I think both had potential. Personally I thought Jarek, Tanya, Drahmin, and Hsu Hao were bigger waste of times, but eh, what are you going to do?

So eventhough I didn't really care for Kai, I wouldn't be against bringing him back. I didn't like him, but I felt he had potential, something I really couldn't say for somebody like Jarek or Hsu.

He fell in a hole on his way home, and he broke his arms and legs so he couldn't get out and starved to death...
then Jarek fell on the same hole... and suffered the same destiny...

Plot wise? Well I think he was killed in Gold/4. Go to Gamefaqs, they have a couple MK plot FAQS

Plot wise if you go by ending, he inherited Raidens Thunder/lightning staff, and is no longer interested in saving earth in Mortal Kombat, and is roaming the world "searching for his soul."

I thought Kai was awesome, I choose him all the time.

I love how he throws the fireballs. They should have a better homing ability, like Sub-Zero's ice showers.

If he had that he would kick major ass.

I would love to have Kai in MK6 as a playable character.

True. And it was a good way of letting people know that we're never going to see him again (i personally didn't like him). But as you can see in MK:DA, Raiden still has his staff.

i didn't like Kai either because not a good story line, But his first fatality when he lift you up a rips you in half was good. Fatality should be for someone else like a sub-boss

I hated Kai and Stryker.

I liked Kai, hell I still do.

We'll find out in Konquest mode.

I think Kai is Ok. I never really play as him, but he had good moves and cool fatalities.

I guess I was never really into the character, even though I really liked the white lines in his body.

The Kai from THE KRYPT was awesome.

We know Kais ending in MK4 never happened as raiden still has his staff. Kai may have been killed or something. Since his ending didn't happen, he's just been made a really pointless character with no purpose. He shouldn't come back as his story was awful.

I would much rather see Tanya come back than Kai and Stryker together. Sure it seemed like she took Kitana's space in MK4 but you got to give it to her. That ending was so great.

Hopefully Kai died - handstanding white striped little bitch
