i'd like to see a battle between Shao Kahn and the Deadly Alliance. KAhn (played by me) has to take on the infamous endurance match (from mkI) of both shang tsung and quan chi at the same time. There would be no pauses inthe fight becasue you are getting double teamed, i'd like to pull out his hammer and do a helicopter swing that connects to shang tsungs face, then id grab quan chi by his ankles and throw him across screen...this would be such a cool fight

but to answer your question, id like a game titled mortal kombat vs. samurai showdown...i think thatd would present some interesting showdowns.

Oh yeah Diablo from primal rage. I loved that game, although it was a rip off of MK.

Bison vs. Shao Khan.

I built quite a few very accurate MK characters in Mugen. Its quite strange fighting a typical 2-d fighting character with a MK character. The MK's have lots of stun moves, a block button, and attacks that do nasty damage like the uppercut. Most SF/SNK characters have longer limbs, large combos, and super-meter attacks.

Sub-Zero vs. Ryu was always an interesting match for me. Especially with my Sub-Zero; he had the spine-ripper fatality. Take that Ryu!

Using a Street Fighter/SNK character against Shao Khan is quite a showdown too. Smoke/Scorpion vs. anybody outside the MK univerise tended to be a frustrating match for the opponent.

I'd love to see Akuma go up against Scorpion.

I think he would go at Akuma head on and take the fight to him. Scorpion would employ a combination of aggressive attacks with an array or supernatural techniques such as his teleport punch after he jugles Akuma in the air. I think he'd also try to use his spear just to keep Akuma at bay from a distance, then move in quickly to continue the fight. His supernatural abilites would keep Akuma of balance just long enough so he wouldn't have to bear to total brunt of Akuma's superior fighing skills.

Whoa!! This dude would evade Scorpion's spear and counter hit fierce attacks with fierce attacks of his own. The advantage that Akuma has over Scorpion is that his skills as a fighter are superior to Scorpions.

Honestly, I think that match would go on for hours. I really don't think there would be a definite winner the first time around. They might level each other with powerfull techniques that neither of them have seen before. I see them fighting until they tire each other out, then agree to meet back at the same place the next day to finish what they started.

Sol from Guilty Gear and Scorpion. Sol has fire powers and so does Scorpion. That match would be on fire.

And if you haven't played any game from the Guilty Gear series, I recommend them. Other than Mortal Kombat, the series is the best video game series ever.

Don't know how they would do this, but James Bond vs. Cyber-Smoke.

Kurtis Stryker versus Lei Wulong from Tekken. It, it would be a fast fight, but the laughs would live on forever. Chubby, awkward cop vs kung fu ninja cop of death... it's too good.

Also, Vega versus Baraka. Baraka owns the universe and would easily take it to the frisky Narcissistic Spaniard. Sure, Vega has speed, but I can picture Baraka just sort of absorbing all the damage and then stabbing Vega in the face.
