IMO SF was Mk's only real comp IMO,MK is true blue American unlike just about every other fighter thats japanese.MK stands out ans thats a good thing,it's darker than all the other games,it's got something called blood no cartoon BS(although SF was great)Killer Instinct=MK rip off,SC has always been a button masher imo,tekken may have a sweet engine but it's the same shit,and no online,and please don't give me that BS about frames,if the game and PS want to prove a point then put that shit online,whats wrong afraid that Tekken online will be like DOA online lol.I guess Tekken would suck online then,what are you going to do??
MK received best longevity in a video game series,i don't care what anyone thinks about awards.thats one i'm bragging about.Granted MK was digging itself into the grave for a short while,but what did it do??It revived itself and the series with MK:DA.Now apparently KI and SF are rubbing off of MK with future revivals planned of their own.Thats a good thing.

SF and Capcom dead?Yeah,sure.MvC2 has only been played for how many years?6 or more?Same with SF:3rd Strike.All these games have been on Evo numerous times,while an MK game has never been on Evo.I'll let you guess why.
I already told you many,many times,but you always ignore it and keep mentioning the same thing over and over again.With our current techonolgy,a good fighting game can NOT be played well due to lag.When I say "a good fighting game",I mean one that doesn't have 20+ infinite combos and is not pure 50/50 mix ups.Even MK:D plays differently online than off-line,but because the gameplay is just revolved around glitches and 50/50 mix ups,it doesn't hurt the game as much as it would hurt Tekken or VF for example.
Of course MK:D is played,but not nearly as much as Tekken 5 is.Tekkenzaibatsu.com gets 500+ users everyday.Same with Shoryuken.com.You have Tekken tournaments almost every weekend,and also include the fact that Tekken has also been released all over the world unlike MK:D.How can MK:D even keep up with this?It cannot.
I also like how you criticise other fighters,but defend MK:D even though it's one of the worst 3D fighters released recently for obvious reasons.

Yes,MvC2 and SF:3rd Strike are both old,but are still played NOW.Look at the Evo site;I believe both of these two games are guaranteed to be in while MK:D is struggling.
Tekken 5 may not have online play,but engine wise,it blows MK:D away easily.Not even worth comparing these two.

Alright you guys went a little off topic here with this tekken and Mk shit. I posted this topic to tell the elite players to hold off with that scorpion 33/33/33 shit because it is boring and not fun. I cant remember what his combo looked like because all I see is flame,3,3,sweep,3,flame and so on. As much as I like Mk you guys are killing it with this 3 move shit. And not just with scorpion but with others too. If ELITE players online keep this up than maybe Tekken would get more props. But lets just face it, people play a game alot because they like it. I grew up with MK and it will always b my top choice fighter no matter how lame and glitchy it becomes.
Just out of curiosity, is this how Bobby Blaze plays his Scorpion, if thats the case and I dont think its so great because many others do the same shit.
