Whats your opinion on whos better between Kobra and Johnny Cage??

I personally prefer Kobra over Johnny Cage, Johnny Cage was cool like... six years ago, but then they fucked up when he died, came back to life, he died, came back to life, and AGAIN, he died, he STILL comes back to life. That's just fucked up. As for Kobra, I think it's awesome that he joined the Black Dragon, but they could've made his special moves a little better though. His apperance is 10 times cooler than Cage's, I also think it's awesome how the Mortal Kombat team decided to add a kickboxer to the game. ( I just hope his ending isn't true ) he's way too damn awesome to have died already!!

everyone dies and cums bak to life in mortal kombat deception all the time, so if kobra did die (i duno cus i dont hav it yet, liv in UK) ull prob see him later unless he was sumone like jarek or shinnok for instance who we havent seen for a wile (except in konqwest aparently)

Johnny Cage. I guess I really liked his special moves in MKDA. And I was really good with him. Kobra just reminds me of Ryu. I think his alt. is badass tho.

I'd say Kobra, because he has a cooler look IMO. Also, the green projectiles of doom Cage has got annoying after a while in MK: DA.

I personally dislike Kobra the most of the new characters in MKD so I will say Johnny Cage.
To be honest Johnny Cage peaked in MK1 and it was all downhill from there. If they could give him back his MK1 look and style somehow I'd be a fan again.
Just my opinion.

kobra is better. way better. at first i thought he would be just a cheap rip off of cage and he would only show up in MK:D (just like mavado in mk:da), but he turned out to be awesome and one of the best characters in mk:d.

I prefer Kobra because Johnny most of the time was just a movie star to me...
Not a true fighter like Kobra...(kickboxing..)
But I do miss the old johnny..sad

Johnny Cage. Kobra just seems like a rip-off of Ken Masters in the Street Fighter series and he has similar moves to Johnny Cage anyway.

Kobra is an outstanding fighter in Deception, but I must pick Johnny Cage because his story is more interesting, his Mortal Kombat 1 storyline that is. Cage had great special moves and he had the comic relief in this game. I just don't dig Kobra's attitude.

I don't care how good Kobra is, he has a crappy name and a crappy look and a story about as interesting as the taste of Bran.
Compared to Johnny Cage he is insignificant.

I like cage, he has one of the most thoughout storylines...well way back when. And I agree... Kobra is a cheap rip off of Ken anyway, so he loses points just for that. I do like to play as kobra, kickboxing is a great style to play with. It would have been nice to have cage in the new game. I mean you do meet him anyway. The only problem is cage has been on such a decline. I choos kobra, because he is recent and its nice to have a fast character to play with.

I choose Kobra. Johnny Cage is just annyoing and Kobra's combos kick ass, especially with the Kali sticks.

Personaly I never much cared for JC. Its like trying to pick your favorite between moldy cheese or moldy bread.

Johnny Cage hands down. I mean Kobra is basically a replica of Johnny Cage and he personally sucks. He has no good combos, his special moves blows and his character basically bites. And they gave him Sonya's sticks. man those weap[ons suck.

Cage.... I'm an old school player....
I didnt like Kobra before, during and sfter having played with him. He's good, but Cage is better.... yet, none of them has a place in my Top 20 !

not really interested in either of them, but I have to say that I really can't stand kobra. Especially online, he is very irritating with the teleport punch and kali stick combos.
He reminds me of that blonde haired guy from the movie The Karate Kid. You know the one who was always beating the crap out of ralph macchio, unitl ralphie boy gives it to him at the very end with the crane move.

Kobra is cool just cuz he has kickboxing and stuff. But I would definetely have to go with Johnny Cage. He just has this aura around him. He is a good fighter with good special moves. Yet in the movie, Linden Ashby portrayed him perfectly. When i think of JC, i think of the JC from the movie and I gain a whole new respect for him. He's a valiant fighter with a good sense of humor.

I think that Jonny Cage wasn't a good caracter beause he was supposed to be Jean-Claude Van Dam, nut he backed out and from there he was a better, but crap isnpired caracter. Kobra has more hystori potential with him comming back and battling Kira(droll).

Of the two, I have to go with Johnny Cage. His combos are just great especially with the nunchucks. Kobra is cool and I see potential in him as a character. I have a feeling that we'll see both of them in a future MK game.
