I agree regaring Kung Lao as it may be...unfortunately...too late for him to take up the torch, but I don't think Taven will be the next Liu Kang either. Should point out...Shujinko was supposed to be the new Liu kang and faile dmiserbaly. How can we be sure Taven's going to do any better?
But also...correct me if I'm wrong...but isn't Taven's goal in the story to be the new god of Edenia? Theoretically, I'd assume the next "Liu Kang" would be a mortal who defends Earth.

He should die. Because he is a zombie already. If he gets a chance to be a normal human again, then he shouldn't die. But being zombie he should be killed. The zombie costume sucks in my opinion.

Liu vs Tsung. The fight they better NOT do in Armageddon. It would be so obviously wrong to do that again, again and again...
