Liu Kang has already died once, and I don't think he will die again, but he should though, he sucks

Actually, I think that all of the bad guys will be left alive and all the good guys die off with a few left that go into hiding. Basically the world falls apart and no one but the ones who went into hiding are left to stop the threat.

Liu Kang should stay dead. He does one last heroic deed and his soul moves on to the afterlife. He's done, he's boring, and it's time for him to pass the torch.
And I really hope he doesn't marry Kitana or become King of Edenia. Corny and way too sugar-coated happy ending for me.

Liu kang is boon's only version of bruce lee. Which imo would make MK's bruce lee which is kang a legend in his own right.
My point being w/o liu kang the rest of earths warriors would fail in a sense because where the elder gods/gods may not follow. They would be left unguided and may not pass obsticals that could blind side them and they're purpose. At least with Liu, he can shine down enough wisdom and hope to keep everyone in order.

This is the exact reason why many people hate Liu Kang. It's pure bullshit to think that Earthrealm's warriors are useless when he isn't around and that is exactly why Liu Kang needs to go.

if liu kang is going to die in this installment of MK, he will die in a kamikazie attack like raiden used in the Mk:D intron on the dragon king. i don't sse liu kang just being killed off like that. i can see him sacrficing his body to kill his enemy for the good of earth and the relams.

Scorpions useless imo, and u like him no matter what ppl say about his story it seems ur still a fan. Scorps story has been broken since quan chi yet ppl still on his nut bag. No offense to ppl like me who grew up with scorp and actaully like him for him not because he's a ninja. But seriously scorp is over hyped just like liu so if he should die scorp should die.

You really shouldn't make assumptions about people because I am not one of the Scorpion fans who likes him just because he is a ninja - he was the first character I selected in MK1 so you could say its nostalgia - and I agree that his story has sucked for a while and that he *should* go even though he is my favourite character.
However, Scorpion and Sub-Zero ARE Mortal Kombat to many people so (unfortunately) they won't be going anywhere. This is also the reason why Scorpion and Sub-Zero fight each other in the intro move/trailers because the general public views them as the deadliest of enemies.

i hate liu kang with a passion, he is one of my most hated characters
but that does not mean he should die, he is generally one of the main focus' of mk, and is a very important character even if some of us hate him.
as for his fate:
i think he will have more focus on kitana since he almost lost her, and he will also look for that of who controlled his body and defeat them.
he will then become king of edenia alongside kitana assuming queen sindel will die protecting a loved one. (just my theory)
he will be a more distant character from the fighting and will offer wisdom and guidance of his experiences in future games.

I to picked scorp 1st im 21 which makes me 3 years older then you not that it matters.
But you see kids 14 and 15 saying I LOVE SCORPION even though they werent born or around when these characters were devolped and imported into a game we the ones who got to play as em in mk1 can call our selves the orignal fans despite politics.
Now i love scorpion and always have but hes not my die hard fav i love stryker and thats they way it is.
As for my point again ur saying that liu's story is bs well my friend scorps story is just as lame and in depth as lius and belive me it aint helping them any better stroy wise.
That's why keeping both alive for future mk's would be wise just so midway could use them to there full poetential for once.

I think Liu should die in an opening FMV of the first next gen MK. He would be just about to do something heroic, but then he gets blown up.

Kang should rest in peace after MKA. He's dead already and there's no need to keep him around permamnently.

I use to really hate lui in the original games, but since mk4 ive started to like him more and played with him in the originals more, and now i think though its time for lui to rest. Lui needs to pass the torch onto the next gens champ, my favorite character, KAI.
