Well Kahn will be in it, just not playable as far as we know. Goro is dead, and without a Cage loophole. And Smoke has been confirmed by various sources, and hopefully he wasn't scrapped. I think it's great if any character returns, as long as they have a decent story.

Kahn will be seen in the intro, and in konquest mode, but he wont be playable. Smoke is definately confirmed.

Goro isnt in, but there is a new shokan that is supposed to be his brother that is out for revenge for his death.

i'd hate to see goro and kahn back

both were easy and lame and had their time to shine and failed

Wait..Nightwolf, Sindel, Smoke, possibly Sektor, a playable Shokan warrior, possibly a sub-boss based on Mythology..that sounds a lil bit like a certain other installment in MK.
