I never woulda suspected stryker..i thought everyone hated him..he looked like one of the dudes from the ghostbusters or something.

I liked him in MK3..and i never owned trilogy...Although I played it many, many times.

He hasn't been confirmed yet but I believe he's a secret character.

it wasnt....hes jsut saying that he "thinks" stryker will be a secret character.....i think they might throw rain in the game as a secret character....even though i dont see the point for another ninja let alone a gay story and such..

other secret characters could be...dragon king, sonya, sektor, goro(bringing back all characters in konquest so why not?), mavado, nitara....who knows who else

I agree with you on the initial characters and the secret, but the super secret characters I think the Dragon King will be unlockable. Raiden to me seems like just a secret character..but not a super secret one. I agree with Liu Kang being a super secret character.

I would think they would try to hold off on saying who the super secret people are.

Well, the only video we've had of Raiden's charred form in action was yanked. And we haven't seen anything of Liu Kang but a tiny figure in Chess Kombat that people are still arguing about. And nothing of the sub-boss. That seems super-secret to me. Consider where we are spoiler-wise compared to the average MK fan.

Frost seems to be a possible candidate for a secret playable character, through popular demand if nothing else. If the Liu Kang option is possible, I wonder if it would be as zombie/ghost Liu.

hmm..i think the whole zombie/spirit liu is just his alternate outfit. Like you play with Spirit Liu and press start and he turns into Zombie Liu.

Stryker wasn't confirmed. If you read the posts above you would have known that.

So far boon said there will be 12 initiall selectable characters, 12 unlocked. He also said that there will be many (Didn't give a number) secret characters.

Wouldnt it be great, if Rain were a secret chacacter? Or the original reptile(mk2)? Or even Shao khan would be nice.

Basically I just think that the main roster that was available at E3 will be the initial characters and that everyone else you have to unlock. Wasn't that how it was for DA too?
